Central location in walking distance to major attractions and Georgetown. Large room with a very comfortable bed. The room was very quiet most of the time. The hotel should consider installing a mechanism on the room doors to prevent them from slamming shut. A couple of times the wall shook behind my head. |

the westin has a great gym that is open 24 hours. the internet charge per 24hours was 12.95 - a reasonable rate compared to other places i have stayed. the bed was indeed divine. although i was gone since 745 am on saturday, when i came back at 430pm, the room was not done yet. when i rang to let the front desk know, the cleaning lady acted as though my request to straighten up the room was unreasonable. i find that unreasonable. |

Great location, we walked to all the main sights (a lot of walking though!). 14th Street heading north has lots of action in the evenings too, including restaurants and clubs. Hotel design was a bit different (rooms face interior), and low ceilings (you can tell it was renovated from an older hotel) but decor was great and you can't go wrong with the Heavenly beds and showers! |

Very friendly staff. Got a great recommendation for a terrific restaurant that was not expensive from the bellhop. Everyone tried to be helpful and make our stay enjoyable. Housekeeping not great: dead bugs in the back of the gym, sugar and coffee stirs not replaced in room's coffee bar. |

The hotel was in a great location. Within walkind distance to downtown DC and a short cab ride (we actually walked - but a little longer than most would want to do) to Georgetown area. |

Great location. Comfortable bed. Nice room. Staff gave us the wrong answers to food/travel information. They were rude and unfriendly. Nothing a 4 star hotel should be. If you don't care about services from hotel staff, this is a good place to stay. |

The location of the hotel, near the tourist sites. Also the comfort of the beds. The guy who checked us in was brusque to the point of rudeness. |

Good location, good room At the end of the journey, the staff tried to overcharge us = higher room rate as opposed to the rate of the reservation ; staff not very polite and welcoming |

Very pleasant and friendly staff Outrageous 20 percent service charge on room service, which doesn't even go to the staff, so they expect a tip on top. And then even a $2.50 delivery fee - come one, what is room service supposed to be? With taxes, all these charges double the cost of a meal. A rip-off. |
