Club Quarters in Washington DC is a new concept for the hotel industry. This private, full service hotel overlooks Farragut Square, and is 2 blocks north of the White House, and near Lafayette Square....
Score from 758 reviews Very good
Lack of cooperation from staff
hotel rates convenience generally clean and service was good
more food choices in the room service menu. spa amenities very limited
Responsive of guest services
Housekeeping don't clean the room fully . The refurbishment of bathroom amenities never happen. I got one of each item which finished the first day
I encountered an unfriendly reception staff when I checking in.
Hotel was beautiful, staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Only problem we had is that we needed a roll away bed and although they were available, they did not fit into a room with two double beds. We had to switch to a room with a king which fit the roll away bed, but was not the most comfortable to sleep in with my husband and 2 children! Staff was wonderful and very helpful and accommodating with this, but this issue withnbeds/room size was not indicated on website at the time of booking.
Should have drinks, vending machines available
Staff demeanor and attitude
Beautifully designed, smart hotel with great location and friendly staff. Ideal stop-off on our journey through DC. Felt luxurious.
Expensive valet parking. Noticed as we left there was a garage next door offering cheaper parking and would check this out next time.
The beds & pillows were incredibly comfy. Our room had a coffee machine with complimentary Starbucks coffee & takeaway cups. Perfect!
They ran out of late night food.
The location and comfort of room.
Front staff was not reliable.
The room was amazingly spacious and it was also very neat. The cleaning staff take their job seriously. Thumbs up to them. The locality was excellent for me as I was attending at the convention centre.
The check in process was not smooth. I thought the staff did not really care and were not as professional as I expected.
I loved the location of the hotel
I didnt like the fact that the hotel did not have a swimming pool. I was traveling with my family and I had two small childrend. I also didnt like the fact that the breakfast was so high for buffett and I had asked for a little milk for my 1 year old baby for a 4 ounce bottle and they charged me to fill it up for $4.00
The Westin Washington DC City Center is close to the White House and within a15 minute walk of other attractions like the Washington Monument. The hotel is clean and modern and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are a good size, the showers are relaxing and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel bar has good food, and there are plenty of restaurants within a short walk. There is a coffee cart in the lobby that service Starbucks coffee. The area is also very safe during the day and at night.
Most issues are very minor. I found the hotel elevators to be a little slow. Many of the rooms face the atrium and do not offer a street view. I believe you have to pay more for a street view. Our room was connected to the room next door, and we could hear quite a bit of noise. Although we didn't need to park, the posted rate at the hotel is substantially more expensive than some of the parking garages nearby.
the bell hop guys are great, also the valet staff was great also, the hotel location was good for walking around. liked window view. key cards worked well all the time.
did not like the fact there was no microwave in room. we only had one face cloth for two people. had dirty bed spreads, both beds. the bar inside hotel sucked. the waiter with the dreadlocks walked passed us several time without acknowledging us, even after we flagged him down. so we left the bar. did not like not having access to my car to retrieve things that were forgotten in car. no brochures on sights and things to do to plan even more events.
My daughter walked in and was amazed of the size and the awesomeness. The entire family had a wonderful time. First time for a trip to DC and what an event it was. After all the walking, everyone was really glad to have a comfortable bed to sleep in, and the location of the room, being so quiet, was a plus. Nice Job!
The room was gorgeous and clean!! Simply comfortable!
Front desk attendant with a little bit of an attitude.
Location is nice , breakfast good
Problem with connected rooms they didnot provide and they put the rooms far away, i came at 1800 and the rooms were not ready .
But the lounge chairs and room chairs had bugs in it
Bugs in restaurant chairs and room chairs
The hotel is very clean. The room is comfortable. The hotel is very close to the white house but on the other hand, it's far from the capitol hill. Nonetheless, for the money you pay, it's a great value.
The hotel can be difficult to find first because of the roundabout. You have to pick the right exit in the roundabout to get to the hotel. I got lost for several times and went into circles. Also there weren't a lot of restaurants nearby so food choices were limited.
The location was perfect. The hotel was within walking distance of the White House and almost all the memorials. Also, it was located near many restaurants and shops. The staff was especially welcoming and helpful. The room was quiet, the bathroom was beautiful, the towels were thick, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. These are the things that matter the most to me and my family,
Nothing. It was a great stay.
Mini Starbucks in the lobby Relaxing bed Quit The bell man and the valet parking staff were so nice and help full with a great customer service standard
I was there for four nights They didn't find me a connected rooms and there were no effort to help in the second day the reception lady just said "NO". So I stopped asking in the other days
Very clean and new rooms! Hade spacious accommodations.
The valet parking was not coordinated well. After we complained about not having out car brought up for over 15 mins as promised with 10 mins, there was car. We informed the attendant and then he told us they brought the wrong vehicle out. It then took another 15 mins to get our car! It was not worth the almost $50 is cost for valet parking when I could go around the corner and park it for $27 all night.
My stay was diasapointing. Because the hotel overbooked, we were two couples forced to sleep in a king size bed. Since we refused to sleep both couples in one bed, my fiancé and I had to sleep on a single cot which was very uncomfortable. The hotel was so conveniently located, but I'm not sure I would ever go back for that reason.
