Inability to find the hotel room reservation between the two branches in Washington, had to go back and forth.
The hotel location near many restaurants and facilities
The bathroom walls we're fill with hair ,the bed sheets had stain and the room telephone was not working
It´s been over a month I am trying to get an invoice for the stay of our business partners. Mrs. Siobhan Delgado and Mr. Young Cho are clearly ignoring attempts for sending an invoice for what they have charged our CC cards. Not professional at all.
That there was no complimentary breakfast.
The hotel was clean, staff super friendly!!! Loved the healthy apples to eat in front lobby!!! Also, like that there was security by elevators to let you up to your room in the evening!
Lack of cooperation from staff
The breakfast buffet was not worth 22.00 all hot items were cool to cold to say the least. Did not feel that the way it served was proper to keep the temp correct only used the dining area once went out for all other meals. One other thing on Saturday room was never cleaned until I called in evening when returned back from day out. But it handled promptly
Location is great!
Room has a wet smell. No parking garage close by. Valleyparking $50, too expensive....
Bed is comfortable, room is big enough - compared to the hotels in the city; closed enough to the tour places(white house, and etc.
the new decoration smell on the public area, the corridor; the printer in business center is broken, but the receptionist helped; no free wifi :( , the parking is expensive, but I know all the places in the city parking is not cheap.
hotel rates convenience generally clean and service was good
more food choices in the room service menu. spa amenities very limited
the comfort level was great the staff was very helpful the location was ideal for me or for anyone that was out for sightseeing
they could have paid more attention to cleanliness I had items on my floor that had been there my entire stay until I called and and reported it
Responsive of guest services
Housekeeping don't clean the room fully . The refurbishment of bathroom amenities never happen. I got one of each item which finished the first day
I encountered an unfriendly reception staff when I checking in.
Hotel was beautiful, staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Only problem we had is that we needed a roll away bed and although they were available, they did not fit into a room with two double beds. We had to switch to a room with a king which fit the roll away bed, but was not the most comfortable to sleep in with my husband and 2 children! Staff was wonderful and very helpful and accommodating with this, but this issue withnbeds/room size was not indicated on website at the time of booking.
Should have drinks, vending machines available
Staff demeanor and attitude
Beautifully designed, smart hotel with great location and friendly staff. Ideal stop-off on our journey through DC. Felt luxurious.
Expensive valet parking. Noticed as we left there was a garage next door offering cheaper parking and would check this out next time.
The beds & pillows were incredibly comfy. Our room had a coffee machine with complimentary Starbucks coffee & takeaway cups. Perfect!
They ran out of late night food.
The location and comfort of room.
Front staff was not reliable.
The room was amazingly spacious and it was also very neat. The cleaning staff take their job seriously. Thumbs up to them. The locality was excellent for me as I was attending at the convention centre.
The check in process was not smooth. I thought the staff did not really care and were not as professional as I expected.
I loved the location of the hotel
I didnt like the fact that the hotel did not have a swimming pool. I was traveling with my family and I had two small childrend. I also didnt like the fact that the breakfast was so high for buffett and I had asked for a little milk for my 1 year old baby for a 4 ounce bottle and they charged me to fill it up for $4.00
The Westin Washington DC City Center is close to the White House and within a15 minute walk of other attractions like the Washington Monument. The hotel is clean and modern and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are a good size, the showers are relaxing and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel bar has good food, and there are plenty of restaurants within a short walk. There is a coffee cart in the lobby that service Starbucks coffee. The area is also very safe during the day and at night.
Most issues are very minor. I found the hotel elevators to be a little slow. Many of the rooms face the atrium and do not offer a street view. I believe you have to pay more for a street view. Our room was connected to the room next door, and we could hear quite a bit of noise. Although we didn't need to park, the posted rate at the hotel is substantially more expensive than some of the parking garages nearby.
