Great front desk support.
A bunch of noisy kids (I think a hockey team)running around outside our room (seemingly unsupervised for almost 2 hours. Also the restaurant was too pricey. Need a cheaper alternative, ie, a cafe/diner.
The people working always helped you with anything and always had a smile
Staff, lounge, atmosphere. Both Westmarks we stayed in during the Alaska trip were keepers. I would return.
No problem, you do benefit from having a vehicle.
In the City proper. Staff were nice and its clean. I requested to change the sheets the first day and they did.
Since we went to see the Northern Lights this is not the place to stay. The hotel do not have shuttle. Free breakfast was the same all week long.
not enough room in the room to move around. beds to close to the desk and chair.
You should have medicaid patient stay there
From the outstanding greeting at the lobby, the cheerful staff, any member of West mark were willing to help with any issue that came about.
Can't think of a thing!
Really comfortable bed! Very friendly staff.
Cold shower two days in a row.
I like how secure the building felt. You have to have a room key to be able to open up the elevator doors to get to the rooms. The rooms are very comfortable and the King size bed is a plus. My rooms have always been spotless whenever I stay at this hotel, and if there's ever an issue, the staff takes care of it right away. All in all, I really like staying at this hotel while traveling to Fairbanks.
It's NOT that I did not like this...BUT, it would be nice to watch flat screen T.V's in the rooms, and not watch shows off of the old type of T.V's.?
Speaking as someone who works in the hotel industry, I'd say the housekeeping inspector needs to do a better job.
the chair are not relaxing at all and the smell of the sheets are less then inviting.
the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the hotel felt safe
The breakfast left a lot to be desired. We knew it was a continental breakfast but the oatmeal was cold and lumpy, and was the only hot dish offered. Also there didn't seem to be anyone around to ask for assistance
Loved the 24 hr check in
The cleanliness was a shock... a good shock. The bed was super comfortable. Staff were very polite, and the food at red lantern and the margaritas were worth it.
The noise in the next room, you can hear pretty good through the door thats connected but closed and locked. And also it would have been awesome to Heat up leftover food with a microwave but theres none in the rooms.
The location was great. the value was great. the staff was nice. Room was very clean.
The pillows were was overstuffed and I had trouble sleeping on them. I wish I had said something to see if they had a normal pillow. My bad.
Great location, the rooms were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Loved the location, walking distance to many attractions. Great options for restaurants both in the hotel and near by. Loved the Thai food at Bahn Thai. The hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Great Hotel!!
The hotel was well located in Fairbanks, being near Ft. Wainwright and the Steese Highway.
The room was comfortable and clean. The employees were very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was good, especially the eggs benedict. Plenty of parking, and in downtown Fairbanks that's saying something.
we arrived one day early and the front staff were excellent in accommodating use, even though it was my mistake on the date of arrival
no shopping facilities with in a walking distance
Breakfast buffet was excellent.
I likes the efficient and polite service of the receptionists. The room was clean, the bathroom was immaculate, and the shower water actually got hot, which I've noticed it most hotels it doesn't.
The drain in the tub was slow, so while showering I was standing in an inch or two of water. Also, anytime a toilet flushed somewhere else, the toilet in our room made a gurgling bubble up noise.
Freindly Staff, Clean, convenient location, Lots of parking, great lobby, coffee shop and gift shop, secure at night, great restaurant
We got a suite, It was great but it was a little smaller than I was expecting. No pool or hot tub.
Nice big queen beds, firm Roomy room
No small refrigerator The loud flush toilet noise
