We had to move due to room issues. Pool area was leeking.
Size of the room. We had 4 adults and a teenager and had plenty of room in a 2 double bed suite with sofa sleeper.
Price of breakfast was bit much.
Excellent service. Good price.
Overall I liked everything
There was a little smell to the room. The pool was dirty
I was very happy with the service I received from all the staff. They were courteous and professional and provided excellent service to my wife and myself. The rooms were immaculate and I enjoyed my stay very much.
The large suite is very comfortable. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Good restaurant and breakfast buffet.
Size of closet in room, pretty small. Fitness center was not very impressive - need better benches to work out on. Location of hotel is a little tuff in terms of getting on I-294.
Good hotel, if you want to stay in Glenview.
Hotel is located too far from Chicago. Had to take 50 min train. Hotel's Shuttle service unreliable, especially for picking up from the station.
Though the place is a bit isolated, the hotel provides shuttle to malls and dattion on complimentary rooms and that makes it a sweet deal.
Hospitality was great! King bed was super comfy! Nice value for price.
Sofa and carpet in the suite both looked and felt really old, needs to be updated.
Had a great time, service and facilities were excellent. Loved the interior design setup. Pool and hot tub was awesome for the kids & I. As for interstate you can't tell it's even there!
Loved everything, nothing negative about this place!
Great deal on hotel. Quality was good for the price.
Would like nicer linens, towels, bedding!
The Wyndham Glenview Suites was in a good central location. It is right next door to ABT, the great family owned store.
The décor is outdated and it seems pretty rundown. We are not sure whether or not we got bedbugs from this hotel. They switched rooms for us, but the new room was a downgrade. The elevator is EXTREMELY slow. Most times we took the stairs. Think I'll pick a new place next visit.
Room size good, but not the beds we reserved. Ok for 3 guests, because has 2 areas for privacy.
Poor cleaning service. Only provided soap the first night, even though we asked for it. We reserved two double beds and got one king size, they argued that a group was supposed to leave and decided to stay one more night, at least the gave us complimentary breakfast for one day. Will recommend but with comments
The mattress was the best. I had the best sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The best. ..
Some of the staff were not to friendly to black Americans. .
The pool, the staff at the check in desk. The fact that we got into the bar area (before the 4pm opening time) to watch the Soccer World Cup final, was greatly appreciated. Also the free shuttle bus service was superb!!
The noise from the traffic outside the room. If advised that I could have taken a quieter room (I would have paid a bit more for it) I would have been much happier.
The staff was helpful and personable. The room was light and airy. We will definitely stay at this facility again.
The elevator service was extremely slow.
We were in the area for our daughter's graduation. We were able to get all 4 rooms on the same floor, which made visiting and logistics much easier. The suites were nicely laid out and we were able to make our own breakfasts and cocktail hours by using the mini fridges and wet bars in the rooms. Lots of convenient parking and near a Costco!
We had booked rooms with 2 queen beds but got rooms with one king bed. That worked for the two couples but not so well for the other family configurations we were housing. The hotel blamed this on booking.com and said they often overbooked a certain type of room. We used the swimming pool (nice, warm water and fairly spacious) but the water in the hot tub was cold.
Suites layout is good, similar to other hotels having suites.
- Breakfast debatable value for money - they host midnight parties and in the five days I was here I (and my spouse) weren't able to sleep BEFORE 3:15am. Lots of people and kids running around very LOUDLY!! We even moved rooms to the 6th floor, because we were in the middle of rooms occupied by respected middle eastern families celebrating something until 3:15am -- 5 days in a row! Happy tidings!
There was an issuse with our rooms, but I spoke with Betty and she was diligent in getting us what we needed. She did not seem the least bit upset with anything. Just wanted to make sure we had what we needed. Norma was very helpful and pleasant also. The hotel was very clean.
the furnishing show a little wear and tear. The wallpaper is dated. But it wasn't anything that wasn't tolerable.
Location, pool, lobby area
I reserved a 2 bedroom suite they only had king suites avail, which required extra in the room. That didn't have the following avail, rollaway beds or blanks. Calling the front desk or housekeeping was a big joke, no answer !!! I ended up going down to the lobby in my wet swim suit to request extra towels & pillows because in a "king" suite you only get 2 of everything !!!! After an hour of my request I ended up going to a local store to buy wash cloths !!! Finally after 2 hours of waiting, we received towels & pillows wow is all I can say about that !!!! The staff was very overwhelmed. I was finally told after a staff change, there were several functions & large groups going on and that's why service is so slow. Wow it took a staff change to tell me that !!! Lastly, the lobby & the atrium was gorgeous !!! The rooms were very very dated !! Wifi was free but very slow !! Not sure if I would stay here again, just no sure !!!!
Beautiful atrium Unique hotel Lots of parking Lovely area
Upon check in our coffee station was not fully replenished. Only tea was left, no coffee, no cups, no creamer. A bit far from Chicago, but a better price.
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly making sure we had everything we needed at all times.
The cost of breakfast was a bit high especially since it was price per person. Housekeeping was not consistent and they were always forgetting something.
We were traveling with a 3 year old and she is a light sleeper. Loved the suite with the sofa bed and separate room. Gave us more options. Breakfast was included; another +. Overall great location and stay. Especially Betty was a great help and always cheerful.
The room by the freeway are very noisy. We had to ask to be moved to the other side, since we were staying a few nights. Staff was very accommodating and moved us the next day.
The room was big and comfortable. It's not too far from Chicago. The room rates were good.
They did not have enough toilet paper. There was a water leak that kept us up
musty odor from water damage from storm, updates in some rooms are needed. We changed rooms due to noise level of the housekeeper, next to their cleaning station
