Location was perfect, mountain views from window, easy to get car in and out, staff was friendly and attentive. Central location to all we wanted to do in the area. Door that separates kitchen from sleeping was broken, Roaches in the Kitchen cupboards. Stove vent fan did not work.

Everything was as expected. Nothing is four stars but it's fine. No breakfast. But there is a very nice place in front of the hotel where you can have a wonderful breakfast (and pay for it of course...)

The location is unforgettable. Views are amazing. Access to skiing, hiking, snowshoeing will bring us back. I liked how whispering pines was half the price as the fancy place across the street. Clean, cozy, affordable, convenient. The jacuzzi was down which was a huge disappointment. The view is amazing, but is blocked by the eve while inside.

Location Cute cabins were closed and we stayed in an old motel room. Water from the toilet above drained through the floor and onto my head when the people above flushed. We left a day early!

Was cleaned every day, Amazing view of the mountains. Staff was fine. Good place to eat across the street. Complete Kitchen. Easy to get to room from parking lot since it is a very small place. No problems encoutered. Is an old two story motel. TV was a small CRT with builtin VCR. Kitchen was clean, but older. But who cares. The room was warm, the beds were confortable, and it was clean.

Had a kitchen- great location When we booked the picture shown was a cabim and when we arrived it was a hotel room. Bottom floor not available so we had to lug things up the stairs. As an older couple this was difficult so we left some items in our car. Our last night a bear ripped open our window to get the items we could not carry up. Hotel had no signs alerting of bears and staff did not say anything even after they saw we had left item in our vehicle/ Staff were not helpful at all. Said they cater to fishermen but could not offer anything helpful in this area either. Hotel was a great disappointment that could have been made easier by staff but instead made it worse

I liked the view of the mountains and the fall colors. We liked having the kitchen. The bathroom had NO amenities or a hair dryer. There was no telephone, so we could not phone for help or the office. It could use better mattresses for the price that we paid.

The host or owner was very nice. When we asked for anything the employees got right on it and provided whatever was needed. They need to replace old chairs in bed area. Bed sheets need to be larger to match the kingsize bed. They need new flooring in the batroom and the kitchen. Shower was at a low pressure. Water pressure needs to be increased.

It is in a beautiful area near the east entrance of Yosemite National Park. There aren't many motel/hotel businesses in this area. The room was clean and bed comfortable. It is a obviously aged and probably having financial problems as there are a number of unused/closed rooms in building behind the main lodge area.

Good location Unattentive staff, we had to wait in the parking lot for 20 minutes for a staff member to show up. The cabin is WAY outdated: TV is about 30 years old, still has a VCR. The heater didn't work when we first got there. They were eventually able to fix it but it would make this loud banging noise every time is would start heating the room, even in the middle of the night! The bed was not comfortable and the sewage odor added to the ambiance. I definitely will not be staying there again in the future.

Location We actually left a day early because the cigarrette smoke from those who were outside of their rooms smoking filtered right into our room. Both of us have bad reactions to second hand smoke and ended up with bad sore throats. This could happen, anywhere, however, so it is not a problem specific to Whispering Pines. We would like to get a refund for our unused day.

I like the location near Silver Lake on the June Lake Loop. Beautiful view. The family 2 room cabin was roomy and it's very nice to have a kitchen, laundry, good size dinner table, nice big bathroom with plenty of towels. Great cabin for a family to enjoy! I would rent it again! For the amount of money I had to pay...I was expecting at least, small salt/pepper, small dish liquid, at least 1 roll of paper towels, when we first got there it was late, did not have time to go to the store yet. The couch was not a sleeper couch and it would be nice to have a sleeper couch. One more living room lounge chair would of been nice. When someone is laying on the couch relaxing there is only 1 other lounge chair in the living room. There is room for one more.
