The place it's in between Mammoth and Yosemite. We visited both in a weekend.
Fantastic view from the hotel, espiecially during autumn. And very close to Yosemite National Park.
Staffs are very courteous, excellent costumer service.
The only thing we really liked was the outstanding restaurant across the hiway.
Mold in shower, quality of sheets, some noise at night.
It was quiet with a restaurant near by.
outdated and overpriced. front desk was strictly business and personable.
We booked a cabin, but they moved us to a more expensive A-Frame unit, at no extra cost to myself, because there was a minor maintenance issue with the cabin. However, I noticed another A-frame with a better view and asked if we could move to that. Even though they were under no obligation to do so (the cabin I booked didn't have a view), they moved us to the A-frame with an awesome view but honored my original price for the cabin. This was excellent service.
Clean, beautiful location. Nice kitchen facilities.
Rooms a bit old
nice location, not far away from yosemite national park and the lake area.
older furniture in the apartment, but ok for 1-2 overnights
Location, as we were visiting friends who were camping at Grant lake. We also got a cabin as a online special. Beautiful views in the morning. Would stay again.
We picked the main floor bed which had a hard mattress. Should have went upstairs, king bed was softer.
Comfortable beds and bedding.
Sticker in the kitchen warning of $35 charge if any dish is not washed and dried. Bit harsh! Shower needs a make over.
Peace and quiet
This being our first time in that location were not aware how far one has to drive to get any where. A location inside the park would have been better
Cleanliness and visual view of Mountain.
Location, be nice to have tv in bedroom.
The bed were about as cheap as they come. The pull out bed was worse and wrapped in plastic. For the price and location you would expect a little my comfortable for the guest
Location and kitchen with room, nice restaurant across the street
No air conditioning in room
Good value for money. Once you accept it's a motel out in the sticks that has been furnished to a price, you can't really complain.
The staff were very helpful - we upgraded to a cottage with a kitchenette and found the property ideal for our purpose. It was very clean and spacious. The furnishings were a little outdated but that didn't matter. This place is very handy if you wish to visit Bodie (ghost town) and the lakes nearby.
I had originally booked this place for four nights to visit Yosemite but, on further research, we changed our stay to two nights and booked accommodation nearer to the south entrance of Yosemite for the other two nights. I would not suggest you stay at June Lake if you wanted to visit the Valley floor in Yosemite - as although you can get to Yosemite east entrance in a reasonable time it is a long drive to Yosemite's Valley floor. This accommodation is a good 2.5 - 3 hours drive from the Valley floor.
Its location near Yosemite.
The motel has a good location, is reasonably price, good sized room, included free wifi, has good views. Has a separate little kitchen with a closing door which is nice
The location is a little bit out of June Lake, so you can t just walk down the street for food etc, although there is a restaurant at a neighboring hotel across the road. Still, the remoteness of it does mean you get good views and its quiet at night
The staff was really help full and Nice with us. We faced problems with ouf car and they helped us! The room was quiet and well equiped! The view on the mountain is just great!!!
We stayed here on our last day of travel and our room was located upstairs in the main two story building. Our room had a little kitchen that was fully equipped with dishes, utensils and cookery, dish soap, scubber and handtowel. Also a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Room was nice with ample space and bath too. Nice towels in bath. No problems with hot water. Bed was comfy and clean. The property is older and family owned and operated. The staff is onsite and polite. The property is clean and quiet. It isn't fancy, but that's okay because it is a pleasant place to stay. It has a 'homey' feeling. There was no A/C in our room and we were there in the warmth of August, but because of the elevation, it was not too hot. It cooled off nicely at night. Property is located in the canyon area between Silver Lake and Gull/June Lake and easily visible from the main road. Nice view of the mountains out the window. They also have a really nice ice machine too. There was no breakfast in the lobby in the morning but they did have coffee. We will probably stay here again when we visit the area in the future.
The creek is just across a narrow road
Being right on the road but all the places in that area are on the road.
Everything. View out the door
Good location, nearby restaurants were good. We were late arriving so staff left the key out for us, no issues.
Décor a bit dated
Loved how clean it was and the Kitchen was a treat to have. The view was out of this world.
Bed was like sleeping on a rock, my back and neck has hurt for 2 days. Also the TV kept going in and out of reception. Did it all the time, very annoying.
