Score from 170 reviews Very good
The staff were very helpful - we upgraded to a cottage with a kitchenette and found the property ideal for our purpose. It was very clean and spacious. The furnishings were a little outdated but that didn't matter. This place is very handy if you wish to visit Bodie (ghost town) and the lakes nearby.
I had originally booked this place for four nights to visit Yosemite but, on further research, we changed our stay to two nights and booked accommodation nearer to the south entrance of Yosemite for the other two nights. I would not suggest you stay at June Lake if you wanted to visit the Valley floor in Yosemite - as although you can get to Yosemite east entrance in a reasonable time it is a long drive to Yosemite's Valley floor. This accommodation is a good 2.5 - 3 hours drive from the Valley floor.
Its location near Yosemite.
The staff was really help full and Nice with us. We faced problems with ouf car and they helped us! The room was quiet and well equiped! The view on the mountain is just great!!!
The creek is just across a narrow road
Being right on the road but all the places in that area are on the road.
Everything. View out the door
Loved how clean it was and the Kitchen was a treat to have. The view was out of this world.
Bed was like sleeping on a rock, my back and neck has hurt for 2 days. Also the TV kept going in and out of reception. Did it all the time, very annoying.
Staff not friendly
This was a clean, unpretentious place with friendly and helpful staff and everything needed for an enjoyable getaway. All the convenience and a homey feel to it that was instantly comfortable.
The only thing that could be improved was the wifi in the room, but it really wasn't part if the room (it's available in the lobby), so although it was a little unreliable from our room, it actually was an extra!
Stunning location and good access to park
• A chalet for 4 persons with two persons in the living room on an old sofa click snap type (announcement with a futon?) • Deficient insulation in sound and vibrations transmitted from the nearby rent passed on by the floor • Wifi does not work • Weak maintenance with badly fixed doorknob of entrance, damaged blind allowing to pass the light, bath seal is black on various location, cover of the armchair out of age….
location - in the mountains There is a kitchen.
Dirty everywhere - sheets, shower, floor, kitchen dish. There is a moyth on the pillow. Very old furniture and deco. Lamp shade is broken and looks like from yard sale. It's super noisy.
Hot tub was awesome and we got to check in early.
Office didn't open early enough for us to check out but they had a sign to leave the keys if no one was there.
Beautiful location, close to Yosemite and Mono Lake. HUGE room.
very close to our trail head location( rush creek ) rooms have decent size and the kitchen is a plus if you want to cook( decently equiped)It is a good choice for a low budget family trip
Not able to reach front desk staff in a timely manner. Kitchen and bathroom need some improvments
heavy spraying of Lysol makes one wonder what they are trying to cover up. Torn carpet was a tripping hazard. Linens weren't clean. Ceiling showed evidence of roof leaks. Water was rusty and smelled awful. Heaters did not work at all.
Love the environment, right in the mountain, so peaceful and cozy. You can even cook if you want. Plenty of space.
Wonderful view from the room.
The sheets and blankets and room towels need replacing, the sheets had holes.
The view on the mountain +++ The bed was really comfortable The staff was helpful The jacuzzi The facilities To resume I would say we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
The obligation to close the curtain to have a certain privacy in the room because it is right on the balcony or the parking where everyone passes.
Location and comfort.
Poor TV, small coffee pot. For that price the hired help should be doing the dishes. Dull colors, drab.
Location, wifi, facilities, parking
Not much, really pleased
best location June lake,silver lake.
thin walls,wood floors,very loud.
The location was good, with a great view.
The house was in very poor condition and needed completely refurbishing. There was no privacy as the front door opens directly into the first bedroom and upstairs is a hay loft which is very bright due to the lack of curtains. There are no doors. Didn't get a good night's sleep there. Overpriced.
Nice quiet place.
We was not aware it was so far from the main part of town. We drove quite a ways and then turned around and went back and finally decided we needed to go further.
beds were comfortable
heater vent was broken bathroom door opened against stool stairs, to second floor no air conditioning
Mountain view in front of the motel was wonderful. You can even see and visit waterfalls nearby. There is a beautiful lake in walking distance where you can see people fishing and canoeing. The location is close enough to the northern entrance of Yosemity national park.
Very basic breakfast provided. No shop in the nearby area. the closest grocery shop is 10mins away near the entrance of Yosemity.
