This hotel is dirty and old. The bathrooms are so gross that I was afraid to take a shower.
Value for price.
Our room was on side by main entrance and the noise from sirens, horns, buses woke us up several times each night. Not really the hotels fault, but it was annoying.
Comfortable bed, nice linens. Friendly personnel. Restaurant staff was very nice, and the late night food served was quite good. Bell Captain was great in storing our luggage for us since we had a late afternoon return flight.
I paid for a standard queen but got a full instead. Disappointing! The bed was only moderately comfortable.
The location is quite good.
tired hotel in poor location
Everything dated, limited space in restroom and rooms, everything seems dark, no heater or a/c, I had to pay $70 per night for parking because I have a pickup truck, shower stall extremely small and mildew on walls and floor.
Not the best part of town if you want to walk up and down Market Street. Wifi useless. Bathroom door didn't lock shut. Received good deal on room so I am not complaining.
Public transportation literally in front of hotel (BART, Bus, Train to wharf).
Wifi was very bad, there were no towels in the room, bath was broken. Don't stay at this hotel.
The vallet parking person must have scape our vehicle pumper and did not let us know. We found out at the golden gate parking after we park. We fail to check our vehicle when we left the hotel so we have to suck it up. We only there for 1 night ( less than 10 hrs) and we have new car
Historical style hotel
Bed was supposed to queen size by it was closer to a double bed compared to our queen at homecoming.
Good restaurant, good service, friendly.
No in-room coffee. No face cloths. No hand towels. No bath mat. Water pressure in shower very low. $35 fee for parking.
This is a beautiful historic building. It is perfect location if you are in-town to see something in the theatre district. Market Street Grill restaurant and Starbucks are also in the building.
Poor wifi, unfriendly staff, worn bedding (it had holes in it), tired bathroom
Location to business meetings
Not a safe location.
Took forever to check in as the was only one person at the front desk, and they were overwhelmed. Unable to reach them by phone from the room the next morning to request a late check out. We were there for an event. Not enough bartenders, and they closed down the bar well before the party was over. Will NOT host another event there. EVER.
halls, doors, paint needs to be freshed
Staff was great.
The only negative was an odor in our room. We were able to leave our window open. It only was an issue for us the first night.
Historic hotel with architectural character. A very good value. Super comfortable bed.
The room smelled so bad that i can't even understand how it is possible to even offer this room for $260! The management shouldn't even have this room available for rent. I'm disgusted
There was no coffee pot in the room or refrigerator. There were several homeless people right outside of the hotel and close by. More than what I have seen in the Sacramento area. It was very sad.
Location was close to the Orpheum Theatre.
No so much a bad experience, but more of an omission. These was no fitness facilities which would be a worthy addition.
Bed was very comfortable and good quality pillows made for a great nights sleep!
A bit run down. No shower curtain in my room.
We saw a rat
The front desk agent name James was rude and also the Security guard need to be trained they take there job to serious and it comes across very rude I was going to stay there but after what happen I will never stay there again...
I loved the building.
