Rm for 3 was spacious big bath
No Outlet in bath. No WiFi in room
Convenient and economical place to stay in North Conway
Price was right...
Age of place...looked like nothing was done since the 1970's
Lovely staff Best location
Small room Bathroom sink was half jammed
Staff was pleasant, Mary came and adjusted the thermostat when we were not able to change the temperature in the room.
The price we paid was extremely high for the age and lack of amenities. 398.00 for 2 nights due to it being a Holiday weekend. The motel was older the decor was old and needed updating. No hair dryer available in the room. The pillows were not comfortable at all. We had to go out and buy pillows to be able to sleep the 2nd night we were there. The beds were not comfortable. Both nights people were congregating outside of our room being quite loud.
Good position for food, shops etc, staff friendly and helpful.
Room probably needs up-dating. Hot water took a long time to come through
We felt like we were in a dark dingy basement. Horrible place
The staff at the res. desk was friendly and gracious. The room and bath were clean. I would probably stay there again.
There wasn't anything I disliked in particular. We were surprised to find the motel was a 50's style motel and not modern.
Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Coffee machine in room broken. Rooms very noisy could hear snoring and talking all night.
It was shelter only. Very disappointed.
The beds in this hotel are in the worst shape I have ever seen. The receptionist was a sweet lady and was very happy to upgrade my room "free of charge". The upgrade added a twin bed and took away the seating area I had purposefully chosen. No hot water. No clock. No working tv. No electrical outlets in bathroom. Gray thin towels. Old thin bedding. I see other reviews where people were charged $65. I paid $162 for this room. There really is nothing i can say positive about my experience other than the lovely receptionist. I will never stay again.
Very noisy traffic all night. Bed's were a bit hard and pillows pretty flat. Bathroom was out of the sixties (canary yellow) vanity. I realize this is a touristy type town but I've spent less money to stay in a Holiday Inn or similar chain hotel.
The woman at the check in desk was very nice and very friendly. Obviously happy and gratefull to have travelers staying with them.
Just about everything besides the woman at the check in desk. I left a message written in the dust on the t.v. screen saying "clean me", and that was just the t.v. There really was not one thing about the motel that was pleasing or even convenient. The mattress was horrible, the towels were thin and like sand paper and smelt funny, the bed had a big gap behind it where a shelf was, and the pillows kept slipping behind the bed and getting covered in...I am afraid to speculate. There was no plug in the bathroom, so for all you men that use an electric shaver- good luck and for the women with their blow dryers, (you obviously would need to bring your own) you would need to pull the dresser away from the wall, and use the over loaded extension plug behind it. They do have a small coffee maker, but you can't plug it in and the light and t.v. at the same time, and it leaked all over the dresser. Also, the temp was in the low 50's and upper 40's and no heat!
white towels were older, yellow and face cloths were stained so I would not use them. TV was old analog type and couldn't get many channels Baseboard in bathroom kept falling off the wall There didn't seem to be any pretense of bringing the property up to date. The wallpaper was so old and peeling off the wall. Sorry, but I wouldn't choose this again.
the was nice and clean
a broken toilet seat in room 8
Very cute vintage feel to rooms Close to main attractions Wonderfully sweet owner
Bath towels are not usable, BRING YOUR OWN Bedding needs to be updated
The People working there are very nice!we loved the country feel and bed was comfortable.
Bathroom floors were very dusty and we sneezed the whole time .
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay with no frills, you could do worse than this place. We pulled a bonehead and forgot the baby's ports crib. We called ahead and were able to get one in the room for $10 extra. It looked new and clean. The building and bathrooms were old and tired, but clean.
Worn down, old, and tired building.
musty smell, mold in bathroom...we actually checked the beds for bed bugs, was surprised that there wasn't
the location was close to town, there was a refrigerator in the room, and a fireplace in the lobby. Parking was good, it was clean.
The place is really out dated, the wallpaper in our room was peeling from water damage, the beds were uncomfortable, the blanket was like pilled cardboard, and the road noise was really bad. The place hasn't been updated since the 1970s. Everything was very outdated. It needs a major overhaul. It needs to lose the wallpaper, change the carpeting, mattresses, furniture, TVs, and bedding. We called it "the rinky dinky inn" we expected a lot better for the price.
This comfortable motel is located near the downtown of North Conway and within easy walking distance to the MOAT brew pub and restaurant.
It was shelter.
The location was very far from where we needed to be. Room was too small. The cost was high for the low quality of the facility. Matresses and pillows hard, over-used and uncomfortable.
Nice and outside the city center.
Not enough towels for the number of people staying in the room. A bit outdated but fitting the pictures.
price location restfulness
My partner and I stayed here in July for two separate nights (before and after climbing Mt. Washington). It was conveniently priced and located for our purposes (we came without a vehicle). It is right in town, across the street from a delicious restaurant and brewery. The feel of the motel is quaint, and is fairly priced for the quality of the accommodation. I would stay here again.
close to outlets nice view old world charm big bathroom good price for basic
hard low beds flat pillows too flat! wifi did not work in rooms only by office
