눉This is an old property showing its age, not fixed up nearly as well as nearby similar properties and not kept as clean (my wife wanted to buy some bleach). The breakfast was a lame effort, the Internet never worked at all (Comcast was always coming "the next day"), the bedroom was poorly lit with nonfunctional blinds, the unfinished pine walls sported water stains, the paint work was amateurish, and the tiles at the shower entrance were collapsing into a rotting floor. The excellent restaurant next door (915) shows what this kind of property can look like if the owner cares; it's a shame the owner of Wicker House apparently doesn't. For $260/night, you can do a lot better in the same area; this simply isn't a good value.
눇The property is well located on Duval Street, the dominant axis of activity in Key West's historic district. It is within a 3- to 15-minute walk of virtually any place you'd want to visit.
It was able to provide a free parking spot for the whole three days we stayed.
The bathroom was totally functional, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C unit was adequate.
