Step out of courtyard onto Duval street and be in the midst of activities.
Floors could be cleaner. Some protein could be added to the breakfast. The wifi was spotty.
Location is fabulous! Pool area is a peaceful hideaway. Bed was very comfortable.
Loved the location, right on Duval ST.
Air conditioner was very loud and did not cool room 16 efficiently. Hodge podge of materials used to put room together, and furnish, unmatched bed lamps, poor lighting in bathroom, no dimmer switches. Well lite mirror needed in bedroom and for putting on make up.
Location, shower, cleanliness,. Pat who checked us in was extremely efficient and pleasant. The same breakfast every morning.
Poor wifi signal in room
Location is perfect Staff are helpful and friendly Old style key west feel
We arrived at about 10pm and no one around. Called the number yet had a hell of a time finding our room. Our room with a "kitchenette" was out clothes closet with a small refrigerator, microwave on top of it and a coffee maker on top of that. No table, no chairs. No one to help with suitcases up and down flights of stairs. The bathroom sink did not drain :(
The breakfast was great. The staff was friendly except the women at the front desk. The pool was great. Location awesome, right on Duval yet very quiet.
Breakfast, just processed carbs, banyan and orange. Some boiled eggs would be
Free parking Location
The bed sheets and pillow cases, towels and wash rags were very old. The room was cleaned every day although the floors were sticky and there was hair collecting in the corners of everything. This was our second time staying there and it's a lot of money to not upgrade their stuff.
We love the location. Being in the middle or close to everything is certainly a plus in Key West. The staff were very friendly.
there was a part of the ceiling that was seperating and the place seemed a little worn but all in all it was a nice room and a comfortable stay.
the location was great, the room a little beat and the bed was very squeaky and the mattresses not very firm. The room was clean and the service excellent.
I'm trying to recall anything I really didn't care for and am coming up short - I liked everything.
The property is adorable, it's a grouping of about 6 small victorianesque guest houses within a private tropical courtyard. I was amazed to see all that existed within this secure quaint property - there's a pool, a grill area and plenty of tables (and much needed shade) for eating breakfast and just lounging about. Our room had a private balcony with wicker lounge chairs, inside was a small refrigerator, a wicker table and 2 chairs, king bed w 2 night stands and a very large walk in shower. My room also had a sky light that didn't blind you with sun : ) The staff and owner were all very friendly and helpful and were on top of everything... if even a leaf fell, it was swept up in no time! I loved the overall feel and atmosphere at Wicker, it's very casual and laid back - nothing like the sterile big hotel chains. In addition, I honestly don't know how the location could have been better for my 6 day stay. Thanks Baiba and Pat, you gals are great and I WILL be back to sit on that front porch and enjoy the island life !!
The Wicker Guesthouse is an ideal place to stay and play on Duval Street. Quite atmosphere and loved the enjoyment of the two friendly cats on the property.
We stayed in Heather's villa. The air conditioning units were very loud. We had problem with hot water on the first night, but they fixed it on the next day. House condition is a bit run down.
Awesome location, very convenient for everything you will need. Some of the employee are nice and friendly. Free parking.
POOR breakfast. No effort made all low end supermarket fair. For the price of the room a much more up scale breakfast would be appropriate.
Good location. Could be very charming
The only negative thing to say is the tile floors were extremely filthy. Even after we would shower and walk across the floor our feet would get dirty. Gross! Need to wear flip flops always. Also the wood frame around the door was old and rotting.
I was skeptical because of the online reviews. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to find a clean room. It appears as tho updates to the rooms were started. Location was awesome. Easy to get to and from either walking or riding a bike we rented.
room on top with balcony, little garden and cat.
Had to keep my shoes on in the room. The tile floor was filthy.
the soap crumbled and housekeeping never replaced it. The coffee pot was never cleaned. Breakfast was pretty basic--lots of carbs, a little bit of fruit.
Location is fantastic. Funky place that will not appeal to some, but we liked it. Breakfast is out in the pool area, very nice location.
The room was dumpy for the price. Seemed like they were squeezing as many rooms as possible into the property, The breakfast was mediocre - nothing hot or special. While many of the other b&b's offer wine or tea in the afternoon, this property had no special amenities.
Very very small and dirty room, no door to the bathroom, very noisy by night, cockroaches in room, rude and unfriendly manager. To expensive for the standard of the room and hotell. I would not recommend this hotell.
The location and the breakfast was good.
Great location. Surprisingly quite. Great staff.
Breakfast could be better and more varied. Leaking pipes from the above appartment for one night.
Very well located at the main street, close to everywhere. Arranged for a free parking in the very centre of Key West. Basic B&B room but had all necessary facilities. Quick and professional reaction of the manager to leaking piping. Free WiFi.
the front desk man on our arrival was a little grumpy, but everyone else was pleasant
the location was perfect and we loved the quiet atmosphere in the middle of everything. The Guest House was a wonderful place to spend our first time in Key West, celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Loved the breakfast in the garden courtyard.
wifi was absolutely terrible and a real fustration, i wasnt told initially to return my keys after parking my car and was then told two days later i would have my car towed in 30 minutes if i didnt get the keys to the reception as the car infront had to move. so we ran to the other side of the island and back and the car infront hadnt moved by 10am the next day. little bit unneccessary.
beds where good, linen good, location really good, brand very good, parking facility good.
Cracked tiles on floor in every room! No hot water for my shower on the second night! Pool dirty. For over $300 it should be better maintained
Like the cute room set up! Like the kitchen and bed! Liked the deck and the pool area! Barbecue was nice!
