The cottage was very nice. We have always stayed at hotel rooms for our vacations and this was very different from a hotel room. It had a homey feel to it and was nicely furnished. Not having attached neighbors was also nice! The staff was very helpful in recommending a restaurant to us and they provided linens for the bed for us at no charge due to the fact that we only booked the room for a couple of nights. Since we do not own a king size bed and that was the size of the bed in our cottage we really appreciated their exception.
The tin roof and rainy nights do not mix well. Sleeping was difficult due to all the noise from the rain on the roof, as well as the acorns and debris falling off the surrounding trees. The roof definitely could have used some insulation.

The location and atmosphere.
The space for the loft was rediculious and the fact that I had food on the grill and the propane tank died then when we called office no one ever showed up to replace it.
Close to beach, lots of shade/mature trees, dog friendly property.
Misleading website, tried to clarify with emails and phone calls and was still deliberately misinformed. The cottage was bare bones - no mirrors or night stands in the bedrooms and soft lumpy mattresses. Shower liner was dollar store quality and stuck to you, no hooks in bathroom for clothes, kitchen had a terrible toaster and broken garbage can. Pleather sagging couch. Activities they boast - Zipline is $20, mini golf $5 per person, not included as implied.
Loved the area, resort, lifestyle.
Some locals were not as friendly as I thought they'd be. A bit snobbish. I guess they didn't want people with less money than them bringing down the value of their property.....lol
The beds were very comfortable. Lots of things to do in the park as well as surrounding area. Great location. Liked that we could take the shuttle downtown and not worry about parking, very convenient.
bunk bedroom a little too tight for older kids.
Location to the ocean and pool right outside our cabin! Playgrounds when we had enough of the ocean.
The beds are very noisy. Just a bit more counterspace in the kitchen would have been nice, but we managed.
I loved the facilites Wild Acres had to offer families and the convenience of the location.
I felt the cabin was very small and cramped for the cost. The kitchen should have a stove top.
Overall campground is great, nice and clean, cottages were very clean, kids loves the pool area and mini golf.
The two bedroom cabin that we stayed in was not what I expected for 2 couples and two children. We didn't expect the second room to be just basically a walk in closet with twin bunk beds in it. The loft was too low and for adults just too small, kitchen was very small and didn't like that there was no counter space especially cooking and preparing meals for 6 people. The cottage is really nice but not what I expected and would be better for one family with children.
Loved it! Very clean, quiet and close to the beach. The only thing is that we didn't sleep very well...poor quality of our mattress but my kids were ok. Bring toilet paper, towels, and all you need to wash the dishes.....we had to buy everything....even a bbq brush! Other then that, it was paradise!
The entire atmosphere!
The traffic throughout the campground....all roads should be one way. Bicyclists need to be more respectful of pedestrians and auto drivers.
Our two grandkids loved all of the park activities.
The wi-fi system needs improvement.
Lots of updates.. New cottages, bathrooms, paved roads and extremely clean. We have been going to cottages for 4 years and noticed the improvements this year. Plus ziplines!
They try to masks you book cottages Saturday to Saturday which didn't work for our schedule but they ended up accommodating us! Thank you
It was our first family vaca. We loved our stay there. They called it a home away from home and it sure did feel like it. We stayed in a cottage. The cottage was very cleAn and comfortable. My children loved the pool and the jacuzzi. We are excited to book again next year and cant wait to be there again. Thank you Wild Acres for an awsome time.. See you again next year!!!!
More comfortable than a tent.
Smelled like raw sewage at times. A/C was broken on first day. No remote for 2nd TV. For this price they should provide trash bags, tolet paper, and sheets.
No street lights
