Very helpful and friendly staff, handy location near the beach, ocean view from the room, room was large and had microwave, small fridge, and coffeemaker, was quiet even on Fri night, and overall excellent value for the location.

Hard-pressed to think of something - excellent stay, terrific service!

We expected a room with a king-sized bed. When we arrived, we found that we had a two-room suite, one with a queen, and one with a king-sized bed. For about $65 per night, including pet deposit, you couldn't beat the size. Also, most motels have poor signal for Wifi, but this was actually pretty good for the price and location.

The shower and/or toilet leaked. The tv was old with no additional av inputs, so we were unable to hook up a dvd player or any other devices. The outlet (and therefore the lamp) on one side of the king room didn't work, and the heating system would not have been adequate had we not turned on the heater in the other room. We had a couple of people smoking pot next door. And the ice machine (which would have charged to be used), did not work. I put a quarter in, and it just fell right though. If they're going to charge for ice, it would be nice if the machine worked.

Like refrig and micro wave in room, close to "old town" and aquariums, and fishing charters.

Rooms are older, toilet seat really worn "ouch". Asked and paid for King size single bed with ocean view room on internet.....but received Queen size instead...and if you looked closely and in the right directions one could see the ocean. They were in the process of striping the parking lot and it did sortta look like they are trying to update the rooms....hope so

It was the most horrible motel I have ever stayed at. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Dirty. Door was shammy.fire alarm had plastic wrap on it. One outlet with an old extension cord to run EVERYTHING

Bed a little uncomfortable

Great location, couldn't be closer to the center of Newport. It was great being able to bring our dogs.

Unfortunatly the toilet didn't flush. We had to pour water into the tank to make it work. I brought it up at the counter and was told that they were supposed to fix that... The rooms were little on the unclean side. And the "ocean view" consisted of a dirty window looking into a grassy hole with a big tree in it. After the $15.00 dog fee per night. We ended up paying $200.00 after tax for the 2 nigths that we were staying there.

Barking dogs in the building that has paper thin walls. No locks on windows, no fire alarms or detectors. Beds were like hammocks, Breakfast was a banana ,crackers and coffee.

The carpet was dirty - didn't look like it had been vacuumed. Overall it was bad. Thirty minutes after checking in there was a power outtage that lasted about an hour and a half.

Location: near the Bay area and the price: very reasonable.

Skimpy breakfast but considering the price ok.

There are no screens on any windows.

The price was fair.

The musty smell in the rooms and hallways were overpowering at times. There were no plug-ins available in the bathroom for hair dryers etc. The sheets didn't fit the bed and the bed was harder than a rock. The carpet in the room needed vaccuming bad. The front desk receptionist could not speak fluent English and did not understand the English Language well. You advertised ocean view from our room but what we saw looking out our window was local peoples driveways and yards and unkept lawns with three foot tall weeds. Shame on Ya'll

Wir waren darüber erstaunt, dass das Zimmer mit Meerblick mehrere Häuserblocks vom Meer entfernt lag. Die Sauberkeit der Bettwäsche und Handtücher liesen zu Wünschen übrig.

The friendly staff. Easy check in and out.

The beds are as hard as they come. The shower was made for a child under 4 ft tall. And there was no electrical outlets to use a hairdryer or iron...

They had free wi fi which I liked and used . The bedroom was clean and the staff was pleasant . Also the cost was reasonable .

One had to pay for ICE the free breakfast was very unsatisfactory .

The staff was very friendly, and appeared to care about their guests...

It was only 2 blocks from the beach.

The walls seemed a little thin so you could hear other people quite a bit more than a standard hotel.

The view of the ocean was nice. The private washroom and cable tv. The cleanliness of the room.

The smell when walk out the parking and around the stair.

It was a very nice, comfortable room for the price and location. Money is tight so we cannot afford a room right on the beach. This was a very nice alternative, with a short walk to the beach. The young man who worked at the front desk was very helpful.

I thought it was somewhat misleading to say that we had an ocean view...but I know the area and I knew when I booked the room that we were not going to be right on the ocean.

Good price, and it was up to our standards.

Staff was polite, informative, and entertaining

Noise level in the hallway ( you can hear everything going on everywhere) The rooms needed updating pretty bad.

It was an older motel. It didn't have downstairs rooms as requested. Probably wouldn't stay there again.
