We made our reservations on line and I mistakenly did the wrong date, but when we arrived they accommodated us immediately even getting a shower chair for me. The room was clean and roomy. A nice place to stay for a night.
Very friendly and helpful manager. Room was clean and warm. Perfect for a one night stay.
The shower was on the small side, but very clean.
The staff was very friendly and the rates were good, the accommodations were as described and as expected
The showers hot water was inconsistent and went from hot to cold, the rooms smelled a bit of stale smoke, and the shower needed either cosmetic repair or deep clean... I hoped for repair
Location and price
Horrible chincy breakfast
Location is convenient. Staff is hospitable and very friendly. Made me very welcomed and I enjoyed my stay because of them. A continental breakfast was a surprise.
Ladies in the office were extremely friendly and helpful! Last minute quests added on arrival and they were accommodating. I told them that we would definitely stay there again!
The owners need to listen to the managers in the office and put some money into this motel, not just their other motel. Smoking area needs to be moved away from the building and the area where people have to walk to get ice or get to their rooms. I do not smoke and do not appreciate smelling like smoke.
very seedy appearance. Ripped carpet in room.Television outdated. poor signal. no radio. On a scale of 1 to 10 this would be a 2 1/2 to 3. musty smell in room, kept window without screen open.
They had availability, staff was pleasant.
no bathtub, shower only, that filled the shower stall everytime it was used. At least 3 inches of water in bottom of shower stall. Door at end of breezeway hall went directly out to the roof, with a passage lock that could be undone by even a 2 year old, which did not feel safe. Staff took 5 minutes to find our reservation that they told us they did not have, and had no room available, only to figure out they had stapled our paperwork to another guests paperwork. It appeared that there are some full time residents, as noticed by a window full of personal items and the curtains tied in a knot, visible from the parking lot(only a 2 story structure. Also, people were hanging out in plastic outdoor chairs with dogs and smoking and it appeared like it is set up for long term rentals. I find that odd so it was a little uncomfortable.
- strong stale smoke smell (had to open the window right away) - dirty carpet - broken faucet - the most expensive, run-down and dirtiest motel of our holiday
The service was friendly and helpful. They suggested the best restaurants and provided cards and discounts. They were available to answer any questions. The location was conveniently located near business and beaches.
The room was mostly clean, but a few minor improvements could be made. There were some smudges on the door inside the room and the pictures were dusty. The bedspread was stained. The hotel was a bit run down, but for the price it was a good value.
I loved that we were so close to the beach as well as in the center of all the things we planned on visiting. great location!! will definitely plan on staying here again!
it was nice having a refrigerator in the room but it was quite small! would have liked having a slightly roomier fridge. also, there was no way to turn the fan on in the bathroom which was pretty small and got very steamy during showers.
Very nice staff, efficient and nice job cleaning the room daily. We stayed 3 nights and the room was sufficient for our needs, especially since we were out all day.
Old and a worn.
It appeared that locals lived there on a weekly or monthly basis. I did not feel safe.
loud noise from above
Not a good value
nice ocean breeze from our 2nd floor room
just an old slightly rundown motel overpriced for age & condition office was locked up with no vacancy sign taped in the door most of our 2 day stay
To many drunk people around the place
some traffic noise from Highway 101
No air conditioning No screens on windows A pitiful fan No blackout curtains, so the room stayed light all night. The shower was horrible. No shower head, just one of those handheld things. The electrical plugs were so loose, nothing would stay plugged in, including their refrigerator. The carpet was filthy. Everything was old and run down.
No TV noisy no air condtioner
Manager vas very nice. My negatives are based on my lifestyle now. Back in college it would have been fine. For a ocean view room, it was cheap. You could see the ocean...through backyards, buildings and standing at right angle.
Overall look and feel. While staff is very polite, this facility is run down. Dog barking all morning in a room down the hall. A few weird people living or staying there. Barf next to car in morning. Good for a biker group sharing a room, not for couples.
location was good, it was older but clean
It was clean but the carpet was old and needed replaced
The woman at the front desk was very nice and upgraded me to an ocean view room with a king sized bed. It was clean, no bed bugs and the hot water was hot.
The view and the friendly employees
Clean and good price, very nice managers
