There was nothing we didn't lile.
It was very comfortable in terms of heat as it was very cold outside.
Wifi, due to the shape of the area, and a range extender not working well in the sub zero outdoor temperatures was on the slow side.
Very clean, well maintained room (a number of rooms are getting updated regularly here). Friendly owner and staff. Selection of fresh fruit and a number of other items for breakfast in a small area was excellent!
A bit noisy (voices, footsteps on the stairs) when people returned to their rooms late at night.
This motel is an incredible value. The owners clearly understand hospitality. The rooms are decorated with flair, and Room 7 felt spacious with two very comfortable arm chairs, a refrigerator and microwave, and several small tables. Everything was scrupulously clean; the housekeeper lives on-site and introduced herself the first day. The cold breakfast included a wide variety (fresh fruit, cereal, bread/bagels/muffins, yogurt, cake rusk which is a new favorite, peanut butter, toaster) and was available 7-10am. There's a discount when you eat next door at Olympic Pizza, a Greek and pizza restaurant a cut above ordinary. The motel is on the edge of Williamstown, convenient to both Williamstown and North Adams, and well set back from the road.
the owners were very nice, this food was awesome breakfast every morning.and great conversation with the people, they were very professional this site was really nice
Had some issues with the Internet and the kitchen/dishes could have been cleaner, but overall things were well put together.
The facilities are basic but well kept. Paul, the owner is generous and friendly. The location was perfect. The cost is fairly good for how close it is to the museums.
Shower could have been a little cleaner but overall a good value.
Good price and convenient to the college. Room was clean, had a flat screen TV.
The room could have used another floor lamp (very minor issue).
Very friendly staff, recently updated bathroom, comfortable beds, super clean, great location (1 mile from Williams College).
Squeaky, uncomfortable bed. Tiny bathroom with too few towels which were of poor quality. Very old and sparse furniture.
Good location and fair price. Friendly desk clerk. Gave Williams College guests a gift bag with drinks and candies and snacks. Generous continental breakfast. Free parking.
Breakfast room - part of reception and too small General quality and appearance of motel
Cleanliness Near to restaurants Quiet, considering location near to highway
Excellent location for our leaf peeping drive. While on the main road, it was well protected from noise. Room was clean, good sized and had coffee maker, fridge & microwave...which is a plus. Owner was personable & helpful. We just wanted a clean, comfortable room for the night and that is exactly what we got.
Stain on carpet. Wi Fi was available but so slow that it wasn't even worth trying to use it. Neighborhood was depressed. A number of empty houses and business.
Simple but comfortable.
Poor wi fi!!
Clean, comfortable rooms. Very jolly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Very good value for money. Would stay again.
Good location for touring. Small motel. Next door to a family run restaurant that is far more than a pizzeria. Excellent moussaka. We returned a second night
There was nothing I did not like.
The room and the staff were excellent. They made an extra effort to make sure our stay was pleasant. The location is within walking distance to all Williams Town has to offer.
The hosts at the Willows Motel were very warm and helpful to very weary travellers new to Williamstown. The extra little support they gave to us really made the difference to what had been a long and wonderful day on the road experiencing the best of Fall in MA and NY.
Nothing-all was good.
Very pleased with facilities all round.Excellent breakfast-good choice and even had several varieties of fresh fruit!
The bathroom in our room (12)needs a makeover.
This motel is a good budget stopover. No frills and the wifi signal is intermittent at best. The breakfast is surprisingly good with choice of cereal, fruit and pastries.
On arrival the host was dealing with a tradesman and it all seemed a bit of a rush to deal with us. On opening the door: large stain on carpet, door jamb appeared to have been broken down and repaired. Connecting to wfi was erratic, tv picture kept breaking up. We switched on a bedside light and it flickered. We took it to the manager who said don't slide the switch all the way on. We took it back, tried it again and it was still flickering so we disconnected it. The price we payed was the same as many other places that provided excellent service, clean rooms and exceptional breakfasts. We felt that these were new owners as they had little local knowledge. If this is the case, it might have helped to explain the poor state and services and we hope they learn and make a successful business of it.
Breakfast was plentiful and quite good options. Pleasant seating area outside. Owners trying hard.
AC unit rattled significantly
Clean, decent place - nothing special, but everything you need, including coffee pot, mini-fridge and satisfactory beds.
The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful while we were staying at the Willows. After we got home, I realized that I had left my tablet at the motel. The owner/manager was very quick to get it overnighted back to me. I would definitely stay there again.
Crowded room. Had to unplug microwave to connect coffee pot.
Friendly staff. Breakfast better than expected.
Room a bit small and dark. TV not flat screen.
Grounds are lovely and well cared for.
TV worked very, very poorly (new system). Poor WiFi. Flickering table lamps (could not use).
the staff and the location
Wifi didn't work
The girl at the reception was very kind. Big room. The place is very quiet and well located
Mold inbetween the bathroom tiles.
