Free Parking Kosher Breakfast Free WIFI Clean room
Street Parking A little "old"
The room was large and very comfortable. The location was in an attractive residential neighborhood. Breakfasts were quite good. Nice sunny patio adjacent to the street. Attractive lobby.
On-street parking was a little difficult but the staff was helpful with their suggestions.
parking available on the street at no cost; hotel was quiet. location was excellent for us, very close to our kids/grandkids.
breakfast offerings were too heavy on the carbs. would have liked some yogurt.
Hard to Park the car.
Could hear the room above us when they were walking around. Squeaky floors.....breakfast area was a mess....
bathroom was very clean
no hair dryer in room, no off street parking
Location and price
The location is fantastic! Close to Farmers Market and the Grove. Easy drive to downtown. Quiet neighborhood with free on-street parking. The hotel itself is comfortable and charming. Mini fridge and microwave in room are a nice bonus.
While I appreciate the free parking, it is sometimes difficult to find a space.
Very clean and spacious room, comfortable kingsize bed. No outside noise at all. The breakfast was good. The hotel is at a walking distance from the LA art museum. Many small cafés in the proximity and nice walking areas in uppers streets.
everything was great, we had just flown in from Australia and needed to refresh and have a quick snooze, we were able to check in at 9.30am and do this. Breakfast was good, quiet place, close to buses etc.
Toilet did block up and we needed to get the plunger from management to get it fixed
Ability to open windows and GREAT location. Also, the continental breakfast.
We have stayed here before, and we love the location. We should have asked to change our room. It was the corner room upstairs. Since it was so warm we needed to keep the windows open, but during the night our sleep was constantly interrupted. There also was no cable, which meant we had to go around the corner to watch our SF Giants' playoff game.
The staff was helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for me. What more could I want?
Air conditioning didn't work in 100+ temps, dirty, breakfast gross, staff not helpful.
Breakfast was nice
Needs updates like new carpet, elevator, better wifi
Location walking distance from Page museum Room WA.spotless
On street parking, permits are available though Limited choice at breakfast
nice staffs and location, free parking, great breakfast-- best experience in Los Angeles
Room was clean.
Parking! It was a joke! Nowhere to park. You had to walk 1 to 2 blocks. No parking for hotel. You had to park where ever you could find a space. Soda machine was broke. No ice machine. You could buy water at the desk, or walk a block to buy it. Pictures on Internet showed it looking average. Disappointed when I saw it. Old furniture. Would not go back.
Large room More than adequate continental breakfast included Close to Farmers Market which has lots of different food outlets,Grove Shopping Centre which is a classy mall of shops and restaurants, tarpits, museums etc, plus easy walk to Wilshire Street where you can catch the bus either up to Rodeo Drive or Hollywood Boulevard, or downtown to purple line metrostation (Wilshire Western), down to Union Station where there is a free shuttle to Dodgers games. We did this having never been to the baseball before, and its was great standing up with all the crowd after the seventh innings and singing "take me out to the ball game..", such fun!
Wooden floors make it a bit noisy, but hey, that's character!
The hotel was in a quiet residential area, but it was also centrally located. We had a good room. The staff were very friendly and we could sit in the lounge in the evening, which was very pleasant. We can recommend this hotel.
I found the hotel to be very quiet and peaceful. I liked the breakfast in the morning, with a newspaper available. The room was clean and spacious.
The noise of the AC
-Location not too far from The Grove, Farmer's Market, Cedar's Sinai Med Center. (But quiet a walking distance esp. in the hot sun.) -A good night sleep, room is cleaned daily. But... -Continental breakfast to some extent (only because there is no restaurant in hotel or nearby, no convenient store either). -Outdoor lanai (but need cleaning.)
-Front desk could've been a lot more helpful and suggest to take city bus to The Grove/Farmer's Mkt. -No entertainment in the area, except at The Grove (movie theatre). -Although sleep is undisturbed, bed squeaks, replenishing bathroom tissue was a constant reminder. Room need to be fumigated. Found a couple of bugs. -Continental breakfast lame, need to alternate menu. No microwave for guest to use. -Outdoor furniture never clean. -Lobby furniture old and dangerous to sit on (photos online deceiving).
Good location, large rooms
