Convenient and clean. Hotel staff was very nice and pleasant. Within walking distance to everything in Korea town. Many restaurants and fast food, your choice.minutes from downtown and in a safe area. I stay here due to location and comfort. There was an older gentleman who was a valet and he was helpful but he felt he was entitled to a tip. He did a very good job in making you feel like crap if you didn't give him anything and he practically begged for a tip. In my experience being pressured like that makes one feel upset and not willing to leave a tip when forced to. It was unprofessional and he was very aggressive in the way he wanted to carry your bags to make sure he gets a tip. I only had a carry-on that I was able to handle myself. He brought my bag to the front desk and stood in-line with me making small talk and asked under his breath was I going to give him a tip. I made him wait because he was so aggressive and I was appalled. I understand that service providers deserve gratuity but not when you have to feel pressured and embarrassed. This totally caught me off guard and I wanted to change to another hotel but I had already pre-paid as a non- refundable. It was all about principal.

Requested a quiet room and extra pillows. Got a room by the elevators and no pillows. Don't ask what people want if you aren't going to deliver. valet car overnight with a full tank of gas. left the next morning with a 1/2 tank of gas. called the hotel sunday to talk to someone and only got voice mail. no call back. someone is stealing gas from overnight guests. i would not stay there again and will yelp to our experience.

The room was dirty, the beds and lines were hard and the noise level of the street was horrible. The staff did not have my reservation, thank goodness I had my confirmation paperwork. It took 45 minutes, once it was my turn, to register....

I liked how cheap it was and that it was so close to the Metro stop and that it was a good hotel. I wish the rooms had a fridge/microwave. I was upset about this because my friend and I bought food that is microwavable and we couldn't eat it and we couldn't get the fruit we brought with us to be refrigerated. Also, we wanted a coffee maker.

easily accessible to public transport, so easy to get to main attractions such as Hollywood, Universal studios wit food just across the road. Te price we paid was fantastic. The hot water was just pure luck, you either had it or you didn't. The pillows and towels were terrible too. we stayed in a room with a king bed and had only 3pillow which were so thin. the towels were like child sized towels no exaggeration. My husband and I are not large people so this was disappointing. I was glad to have had my own towel. I would still recommend this hotel though would suggest ppl bring their own towel and pillow if possible

Nothing except for the fact that the manager refunded our money for the two nights we refused to stay there. This hotel is not at all what is advertised on it's website. Not one room has been updated since the 60s. The carpet, walls, bed, and bathroom are all at least 30 years old. Floor and drapes had stains. The bed was as hard as a rock and had a bedspread that hadn't been replaced in 30 years. The tv was a tube from the 1980s. Left after one night of a three night reservation.

Unfortunately, I can't say I liked anything. The service was poor. Upon having housecleaning enter the room to refresh towels two days, washcloths were missing on both. The first time, it took over 30 minutes, which made me late. On the second time, I never got them. The hotel advertises combplimentary Wi-Fi but it never worked. The front desk told me that "too many people may be connected"

Staff was friendly and courteous. Location close to my family. Bathroom was old and musty. Wallpaper shows signs of mold behind. Shower very fair. Renovation and improvements are necessary. Wifi was horrible. Could not access properly unless in lobby areas. Excercise room was old and not appealing to workout in. Equipment from dark ages. I was not a happy camper....I Would not consider returning, just for the location.

Honestly, nothing the hotel didnt differentiate itself as a Quality hotel. The ice machine on our floor was non-existent. The ice machine below us was broken. After checking in I got a call from Booking.com saying they had a rep from the hotel on the line cause of a credit card issue. I checked when I got back to the hotel no such phone call was placed from the hotel.

Very nice lobby but rooms were very shabby, very dated. The 'standard rooms we stayed in were ill equiped. No welcome brochure with list of amenities. Very loud constant noise coming from flat roof outside window. I had no hot water for two days, so couldn't take a hot shower. I complained twice and it took three visits from the plumber/engineer to sort it out. Breakfast poor with bad service.

Good to stay for a concert at the Wiltern. Within 10 minute walk. The hotel is obviously old, but provided a spot to relax instead of sitting in traffic. I'd do it again. Could use some cleaning of the carpets.

From the outside It looks nice. Location isn't too bad We stayed in room 830, it seemed haunted, the water would turn on by itself at 3 in the morning. Each one of us had nightmares when we slept there. The valet were extremely rude. The room was pretty cheap compaired to the other hotels in Los Angeles so in try end I guess you pay for what you get.
