Friendly, "old school" feeling and very clean
Location. We have stayed there many times. Good value
Raising rates during graduation week end.
Two rooms in suite. Comfortable beds. Loved having three sinks.
Wifi didn't work in room. Lobby and hallways smelled unpleasant. Rooms were not very soundproof; every noise and voice in hallways could be heard.
I liked the friendlyness of the staff, very helpful. When I wanted to print directions and there was no printer in their business center, the girl from the reception printed it for me. The room was very spacious.
The breakfast got boring after two days. Also, the use of plastic cutlery and styrofoam plates did put me off a bit. But I have seen the same thing at other hotels too.
Loved the suite the staff and the location
Need more outlets
The hotel is extremely well designed and it's pink walling to my surprise is refreshing. It is light and airy, supported by attentive staff
Hard to identify
The bed was very comfortable. The pool area was enjoyable and we really loved the complimentary breakfast every morning. We would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family. Thank you for your hospitality! Nice location too...
Not a thing!
Not within walking distance of anything interesting, kitchen just a cubbyhole, somewhat tired, old televisions, breakfast a zoo with the whole hotel trying to use a few tables.
Beautiful place. Very clean. It was a pleasure to stay there
+ great location to UA, always clean, breakfast we always stay here for our visits to Tucson
The staff was most friendly and helpful. We loved the convenient location, close to the U and good restaurants and the mountains. The hiking paths were wonderful. Bed linens were A+.
The breakfast room was very small, and offerings were limited. The brochure noted that bikes were available, but the only ones present were children's bikes and a single speed adult's bike that was in poor shape.
Location was excellent for accessing the National Parks and Forests.
It took 3 days to correct a plumbing problem that only allowed very hot water to come out of all hot and cold water taps.
The location was beautiful, and well place close to a mall, a center for food and commerce, and a wonderful plaza. The staf was more than friendly, going out of their way to help us with everything we needed, and in the case of the maintenance man, well above and beyond.
There were very few delivery options mentioned, and no list of places that delivered there at all. While there were two amazing places, trying to go anywhere with a tired little guy was hard, and a list for ordering in would have been nice.
The welcome reception from the staff and the casual breakfast arrangements. Also the clean and tempting swimming pool.
This was a very good facility. The location was well located. It was very quiet even with the windows open!
We had originally reserved a king suite, but were given a double. They had no king available until the fourth night (this was a four-night stay). They could not give us a reason why we did not get a king....nor could they give us an adjustment on the rate.
Love location, how quiet it was, and privacy
Air conditioning was loud. It definitely worked perfectly fine but never went off
The layout of the rooms are great. They are large and comfortable. Location was amazing.
They gave us the wrong size of room. Found out our government rate was less than what we booked and we were not able to get the discouont, the facility is in SERIOUS need of updating. Feels like they have put no money into it for 30 years.
it was very nice
it was farther north than we would have liked
spaciousness, kitchen, beds
problems with shower, refrigerator, thermostat
Was impressed with the cleanliness and the size of the suites
The set-up of the breakfast area. Hard to get the food with the tables in between
Excellent hotel with spacious rooms, nice beds, good breakfast buffet and kind personnel. A good hotel to stay for a week or two, not to expensive and good service.
Don't expect to much of the bicycles. The showers were a bit on the low side, then again I'm a tall fellow.
The suites are roomy and very quiet and in an upscale plaza with interestingly shops and restaurants.
The quality of the breakfast was poor and does not match the other aspects of the hotel.
Very comfortable and friendly staff.
workout room wasn't very complete: needs to be bigger and needs free weights
A bit dated, but super quiet and very comfortable.
Needs more desktop electrical outlets for personal electronics. Existing outlets were difficult to reach.
Windmill Suites has an excellent location, one of the few quality establishments in the immediate area. The walking trail behind the hotel is excellent and the farmers market that takes place on weekends is one of the best for its size I've ever been to. Staff is exceptionally helpful. Local restauratns and Trader Joe's are close by as is the Arizona State campus.
The property could use a little updating. It's obviously a 1980's property, well maintained, but somewhat dated, yet comfortable. I would like to see flatscreen TVs' in the rooms at some time and the bathroom wired telephones always make me smile.
