3 people in two double beds. good price. good location. bad street. good confort. good free breakfest. good bathroom. small bed (considering two double beds) but ok. nothing really really good. its a ok hotel. i stay in stanford hotel and in this hotel. i think both are similar. this is a little better.

Street ugly

Very nice, clean hotel. Close to times square. Free breakfast was the best part.

Bad cell reception. They give you free phone calls within the U.S to make up for it. Which is very nice.

Everything was fine. And paper cups and plates at the breakfast time were fine: you could be always sure they are clean :-)

Air condition is too noisy and there was no self control. But it is the common problem for the Manhattan's hotels.

Close to all ny attractions

No place to sit in the reception. The buisness center has only one computer which OS occupied most pf the time,

Location and staff

Their double bad is suitable barely for 2 young children.. Very narrow, like regular bad and a half... Its not suitable for 2 adults even for 2 older children is not enough. To sell 2 beds like this in a room as 4 adults are outrages!!!

Wingate was very convenient to Penn Station, Times Sq, and other sites. Shops and restaurants were very close and easy to get to. The staff were helpful, although the recommended restaurants were pricey and not the type of places a woman and teenage son would prefer. I would like to see the desk have maps of local shops withing a 3-5 block area that folks could shop/eat reasonably. They are there, but had to find them for ourselves. Would be less stressful if they were known by the staff and suggested as options. The room was very comfortable and always made up by the time we returned. Crudo was a very nice restaurant. We only ventured to the breakfast one morning, but it was very good. Had one evening meal there and they were very well staffed and accomodating. All in all it was a very nice stay.

The only 2 vending machines were located in the basement and would not accept bills. The desk clerk was not always able to offer change. I know the price was within the range for the area, but it still seems excessive for a room of that size with no view and so very few extras.

The disabled access room is very well done and comfortable.

The breakfast room is very small and too crowdy. We have to wait to have breakfast. We have a room at the second floor and it was very noisy...

Price and location. Was celebrating 45th wedding anniversary and was left bottle of wine in room - thanks. Also use of staff's personal umbrella one night was good

The location very close to Penn Station.

Great hotel to stay at located 10 min walk for times sq and 5 mins from grand central stn was a great hotel comfortable and very clean

Breakfast area was small and crowded

This is an amazing hotel. I is one block away from the subway. Very close the the city center, Times square and other attractions. Neighborhood is pleasant and it felt safe walking in the night.
