The room was very clean and pleasing to the eye. The Staff was very helpful and was happy to answer any questions that we had. The location was close to universal studios where we had reservations to the Blue Man Group. The breakfast area was great with a good selection. I would highly recommend this Hotel. Not worth mentioning, our room was just across from the elevator and there were some late night travelers that were a little noisy. Not a show stopper.

The hotel was very convenient to Universal Studios and shopping, our destinations for the weekend. My adult daughter is a vegan, and we asked about restaurants, and we were so pleased that Charlotte at the front desk printed out a whole list of area restaurants that could accomodate her.

Nothing. It's hard to find anything you like in a hotel that cannot provide a "glass" but has only paper cups, the ceiling in the room falls at 4am in the morning. This hotel should be ranked as a cheap family hotel and priced accordingly. Everything. The hotel was terribly located, rooms face a parking lot, kids are noisy, not clean, the ceiling fell in the middle of the night, the 'complimentary' breakfast is a test to someone's surviving instincts. If you travel on a budget, on a bus and cant afford anything better then negotiate the price and stay there but no one should pay more than 60 bucks. Terrible place eith bearly ok staff.

I was pleased with our stay there during the holidays. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area and I would stay here again on my next trip to that area. If I had any complaints, I guess it would be the seating area for breakfast. There weren't enough tables and it was very crowded.

I went with my husband and our grown daughter to go to Islands of Adventure to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Ivan the desk man was such a help. The kiosk wasn't working right so he help us use the hotel computer to get our tickets bought and printed for the next day. We appreciated that so much. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, places to eat within walking distance and the park very close. We had a great time. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you so much.

This is our second visit to Orlando and it has been some years since our first. The Wingate was a good choice because of its proximity to Universal Studios and Premier Outlet Mall on International Drive. I would most likely choose this hotel for future visits to Orlando.

The location was excellent, right next to the Universal complex. The cost of the room was low, but I had still expected more of it. The complimentary breakfast was a bit of a disappointment as well.
