We originally booked a 4 night stay, but ended up checking out after our 1st night there. We were awaken at 3:30am by some loud neighbors that were talking very loudly (one was upstairs yelling at the other one that was downstairs getting something from the car). Then, two other people decided to have a full blown conversation from what appeared to be right in front of our room.. Needless to say, we barely got any sleep. To top it off, there are no real curtains covering up the window, so the sun was shinning through at 7am. Also, when we first entered the room there was no comforter on the bed, which seemed weird to me, so we had to request that. This "hotel" is located in Calle Ocho in Miami.. I wouldn't consider it Coral Gables! It's in a pretty sketchy neighborhood surrounded by motels that you can rent by the hour, if you know what I mean. I forgot to mention that when we pulled up, there were some sketchy people on the property just hanging around outside of their room. I was very disappointed, but hey, I guess you get what you pay for! We checked out the very next morning after our arrival, and fortunately, they provided us with a full refund of the rest of the nights.
This appears to be an old motel. The rooms were apparently remodeled and the motel was then labeled a "hotel." The room was spacious and remodeled, but it felt humid in there.
