The location is quiet but couldn't be more central
Hotel staff, particularly two of the Concierges were very rude. I understand they are not employed by the Hotel but they still give the Hotel a bad name
The location is excellent. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The street noise minimal in a junior suite.free coffee and muffins. Very comfortable beds.
The central heating system woke us up as it is a very old building. Turn your radiator off! Gym was very old fashioned.

Incredible location Good value for money
I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable our accommodations were, given the affordable rate. I new the room would be small, which it was, but we did not visit NYC to sit in a hotel room. Location was excellent, staff was friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Oh, and the muffins in the morning were delicious!
The bed wasn't the most comfortable that I've ever slept in, but it also wasn't the worst! Met expectations for the rate we paid. It's difficult to find anything negative about the Wolcott, as it was such a pleasant experience for us.
Location is good.
In theses days it is ''strange'' to be additionally charged for internet. No fridge in a room.
Fantastic Midtown location, friendly desk staff, beautifully maintained "period" lobby, comfortable double bed.
WiFi isn't free even though their advertising says that it is. The Concierge was friendly but didn't speak English very well She kept trying to get me to accept restaurant suggestions that I didn't want, and then gave me the address of a Mexican restaurant that didn't exist.
The free coffee and muffins each morning.
location was great, easy to get everywhere
wifi was an extra charge
I liked that there was free tea/coffee and muffins supplied every day for breakfast which not only saved money but we actually met another visitors and exchanged news on where to visit etc.
Didn't like that we had to pay for WiFi. I
The hotel was in a great position. Very clean.
The location is great!
Eat breakfast in the lobby
The beds are comfortable Coffee and muffins Cleanliness Staff Security is excellent
Paying for WiFi
Very close to Empire State Building and 5th Avenue
No kettle in room. Decor bit tatty
Good hotel in a good location for a good price.
The paid wifi locked to one device though is a horrible idea.
Views, size of room, good bed, good and the cleaner was brill. Only 2 blocks way for everything eg subway, train station, ESB shops, eats.
Smell in room very bad, small eating area, poor TV.
Excellent location, smoking rooms. Staff was friendly. Great value for downtown Manhattan.
Room faced back alley and every morning starting at 3am we heard all delivery and garbage trucks which went on until about 5am. Then nearby construction started around 7am. Temps were too chilly for the a/c (late Oct) but warm enough that we wanted the windows opened a little bit. Difficult to sleep with all that noise.
Dirty bathroom Smoking room (when specifically requested otherwise) Rude staff Weird black lint all around hotel room
The room was clean and cozy due to the size. It served our purpose for a one night stay.
The view from the window.Would have preferred a front street view.
Location, most of the staff was helpful. One male concierge acted like I was bothering him. Staff at check in and checkout were awesome. Overall very nice. The triple room is great.
Paid wifi. Hotels are so expensive. Thank You to the van driver who got us to the airport in awful traffic.
Central location and architecturally stunning reception area of hotel.
Room décor rather drab.
Staff were very helpful. Location was great.
Room small but comfortable. Muffins for breakfast was a bit boring after a few days.
They changed our room after complaint.
Dirty, shabby rooms. Small, old unkempt.
