The lobby, rooms and hallways were lovely.
Great location, comfy bed, great free coffee and muffins every mornin, lovely helpful staff
No free wifi !!!!!!
Location - Staff - Cleaniless - Muffins ! - Excellent value for money -
Outside Noise (got used to it!)- Bathroom size - Bath tub = not bath
location is fantastic and it is a very pretty building. the room was spacious and that is all
not clean there was hairs everywhere including in the bed. the staff is ok, but in general rude and not helpful with the exception of the concierges. The room was quite cold and the heating system did not work. overall will never stay there again.
good location near 5th Avenue accessible to both uptown and downtown either via subway or walking
Should provide free wifi and pc USB ports should be open to allow for transfer of pictures at the very least
We loved the location of this hotel as it is only two blocks from the Empire State.
The rooms are quite small.
Wonderful location and decoration of the hotel. Clean room and comfortable beds and other facilities.
No shower gel.
Relaxed environment Beautiful lobby Comfortable beds Muffins and coffee in morning Twin room had big bathroom and moderate sized room Tourist desk was helpful
Receptionist could have been more welcoming No security on the door at nightime
We stayed at the Wolcott 2 years ago and it has improved even more.
location and room were good for midtown hotel
Found the concierge to be a bit prickly and not overly helpful.
Upon arriving was upgraded to a triple room which was welcome as i was staying with my father so we had a room each in essence. Location is great situated close to empire state, penn station and Macys and perhaps a ten minute walk to grand central. Room we had was very quiet and spacious and found all the staff to be very helpful ad knowledgeable. Would happily stay there again.
A little dated in decor and no breakfast facilites (although many options nearby) but little else.
Everything. Wonderful, fresh morning muffins and good coffee. Great way to start a day. Very clean rooms and excellent maid service. Nice crisp sheets. Wonderful location - could walk to many sights. have already recommended to friends/family
Location, clean, spacious, comfy beds.
Noise from street from people yelling and garbage trucks at 4am.
Price was affordable and location very desirable
Hotel is old, style is old fashioned.
For that price its amazing that wifi is not included!
Very good location. Coffee and muffins offered in the lobby for breakfast.
Very expensive compared to the poor quality and confort. My room had absolutely no light and the air conditionning system situated in the courtyard was very noisy. You have to pay about 10$ extra per day to have access to the internet and it is not even made for several devices which is a problem when you travel for work.
It was very cramped in room. Also got bed bugs !
Hotel was clean and quiet in a good location. Close to Penn station and other big attractions
Concierge was poor. Dealing with different people, they were both inept. When I asked for directions to a major attraction she had no idea what I was talking about. USS Intrepid on Pier 86. She sent us to Central Park West and 86th. Pretty inexcusable for a concierge.
Good basic room - clean, relatively quiet. Good position for central Manhattan.
Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in room
I loved that they gave me a tour of the beautiful ballroom!
There is a computer with web access in lobby (but not free).
The hotel was in a good location close to subway stations and tge staff were very nice. In the lobby there was also a desk that sold good value for money tickets to shows.
Paid the same for this hotel as the one before and for the price it was very outdated, the WiFi also came at a charge per day.
The hotel itself was very good and the location was excellent
The room was very dark, never getting brighter than dusk. This was not helped by the fact that the room was wallpapered in what can best be described in mucky pond. A lighter colour scheme would have helped immensely. Things were not helped by the fact that there was a construction site right outside our room, something the hotel management strangely forgot to tell us
