Visited this resort for a concert. Very convenient to the venue, within a mile from resort.
When booking I was offered Double queen room or deluxe double queen. If I had know what the real double and deluxe looked like, I would have booked somewhere else for $225 a night.
Very good for resting and sleeping.
It llok at the outside very old and kind messy.
Even in the midst of some new construction going on, we loved our stay. Everything was great from the nice clean room, to the breakfast, to the pool area. Even the drive to the Pavillion for our concert was enjoyable. The staff was very professional yet friendly and the grounds were beautiful. We will definitely be back to enjoy a couple rounds of golf with our stay next time. It was a great weekend away and would even be a fun place to bring the kids along next time.
We were really impressed with our stay. If I had to say something I guess it would be the construction going on, but it really didn't bother us or effect our stay. Can't wait to visit again.
The room was nice, and the staff was helpful and friendly.
The hours of the pool slides access was a problem and the parking was a inconvience.
the lazy river and all the pools were amazing..sooo fun!!
Happy staff makes this resort a wonderful place to visit. Food at all 3 restaurants was great. Swimming pools, water slide, lazy river very fun and relaxing. My 12 year old son had a 30 minute golf lesson and the pro was fabulous. Spa treatments are worth every penny. We will return again to see the new construction completed.
We loved the very attentive staff. The grounds are layed out nicely and there is plenty to do within the resort itself.
The only drawback was the construction going on for the new facilities but thats to be expected when expanding.
We liked the amenities that reminded us of vacation s at resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean, like drinks by tt he pool and smores for the kids.staff was really nice.
The price for our room.and the pools were smaller than I expected.
The staff maintained their professionalism as they worked around the many construction inconveniences.
The fact that management continued to demand high standard prices for substandard amenities. The Cool Water Café was closed. The construction created many inconveniences with regard to transportation. Meals in the Glass Room not the same as in the dining room. Dust and dirt everywhere. I was given a room in the older section without an opportunity to change accommodations. Room should have been discounted. Was told last summer at checkout that all construction would be completed by spring of 2014, including the new on-site steak house.
The pool was wonderful. The new rooms in the existing building were fabulous! Best beds ever! and the new buildings going up look like they will be equally as fabulous!
Do not ever stay in the Forest Oasis part of the resort. We got placed there at first and it was BAD. Moved rooms immediately.
Brunch - variety and quality of food; pool was great! Cleaning crew was awesome!
Registration staff was stoic, almost unapproachable and non-accommodating. The manager finally helped out. All staff seemed to be there for a job, not very friendly. It did not have a resort feel. Pro shop closed and left my husband with rented clubs and kept his credit card overnight. Strange policy about debit/credit card that will tie up your funds so you can only pay with credit card or cash. Lot's of noise and dust right outside our door as renovations are going on. Employees seemed to expect tips for everything that inconvenienced us (ex: we had to call for toilet paper as there was less than. Roll in the room; had to take a golf cart to and from main bldg because of construction; parking was wierd. I would wait until all construction is complete before returning.
I was never told when I booked that I would be staying in the lodges. Very very disappointed not what I was expecting at all! Plus all the construction that was going on I would have never spent the money I did to stay in a lodge that is very out dated and far from everything else. My kids were very disappointed as well this was not the image I had put in their heads with the description I had given them...
The beds were comfortable
Didn't get the view I ask for. And the bathroom needs updating
golf carts, shuttle buses grounds, views oasis waterscapes
I first called and they said they were full. Found room on booking.com. When i checked in they offered me a great deal in the older section. I said no.I ended up in a room that I think was about to be redone.Furniture was dirty. I think they put us in a room that was not suppose to be used but since booking.com booked it they had to find a room for us.
Big pool was nice, movies at dusk, hiking trail, gym, location, lazy river about to open, new rooms and buildings being built, nice golf course though I don't play golf
None, maybe a little updating for the older rooms and buildings?
The staff is very friendly and courteous.
The cottages are a little old and need to be updates.
The rooms are nice and clean. Waiters by pool are nice and provide good service.
The lazy river wasn't open yet...however we were told spring 2014 before we booked so assumed it was open. Cable went out for multiple hours one morning. Overall, it is an expensive trip for a gl
We will definitely be back and bring the grandkids with us! They will have a blast at the Waterscape!
Also enjoy coming for a close to home getaway.
Construction but understandable
Staff was excellent, full program for kids and great facíities for kids, great breakfast, shuttle service to shopping
Tiny closet, no safe in room, no laundry line to hang bathing suits, taxes and charges unclear from booking created an unpleasant surprise at checkout
Quiet, good service
Old out dated property. Not worth the money. And a $20 resort fee? Should be included in the room rate.
Very friendly, accommodating staff. Room was quiet and beds were comfortable.
Not resort-like. Advertised a lazy river and it was not completed. No organized activities that typical resorts do. Separate buildings off the main building, prohibited activities in club house. Would not recommend or stay here again.
