the location was perfect for my engament. Will definetly go for my anniversary. The staff was very professional and very welcoming. Will recommend to my family and friends.
Close to a subway station; close to a lot of spots (e.g.: Wall St., Bull, WTC, Brooklyn Bridge, Staten Island Ferry -- Statue of Liberty, Trinity Church). The facilities are clean, new, everything working, and the staff is nice. I haven't tried the gym though.
That was difficult to adjust the heating system -it was actually cooling at night instead of heating on a cool spring night and if the ventillation started for heating that was extremely hot- however the control panel was state of the art.
The location is really prime and very well situated close to transportation, attractions, and restaurants. The one bedroom suite has very good facilities for a family with young children with a foldable sofa in a separate room and kitchenette. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Did not think the breakfast buffet was worth the price...nothing remarkable. However, they do serve a great martini in the rooftop bar!
Water bottles with refill center. While the room size was small, it had all the amenities you would ever need. Great view of World Center.
The beds weren't as comfortable. The guest request closet was empty.
It was convenient. We only stayed for one night and were equally interested in seeing things in both midtown and downtown areas. So ithis worked perfectly, and saved money.
Free wifi, clean rooms, gym, view fro mthe restaurant ...
The location is out of the way, but it's pretty close to a subway station. It's right next to the 9/11 memorial, and the restaurant overlooks the fountains, so if you're hanging out in lower Manhattan it may be perfect.
Clean. Friendly staff. Comfortable, well decorated room. Free wifi (slow, but free). Overall it was excellent for the price.
No room service
Easy access to major highways and restaurants nearby. Spacious room and bed was very comfortable.
Parking was rough for our driver. It rained. Exceptionally clean
Overall the entire experience made our trip to New York completely satisfying. The staff, the hotel, the food was outstanding. We broke a curtain rod at the balcony and the staff never made us feel at all bad. The servers in the resturant went above and beyond and hotel staff helped with directions and ideas. Will definetly tell friends traveling to NYC. Deborah
Airline stranded me in AZ and when I called to cancel my reservation they refused to offer refund, despite extenuating circumstances. They were happy to be able to offer the room to someone else that night, and equally happy to charge me despite my absence.
Good facilities, near to metro. Rooftop bar/restaurant available (view is ok, but dwarfed by surrounding skyscrapers). Room looks out over the 9/11 memorial. Staff friendly and efficient.
20th floor restaurant poor breakfast. Great view, but food choice poor and buffet sparse and unreplenished. 18% auto gratuity for poor service! Steer clear. Hotel part super though.
Staff friendly and helpful. Next to Ground Zero.
We stayed there for 7 days, unfortunately after the first two days the tea/coffee amenities were not refilled by the staff.
The rooms were clean and adequate. Location was great right in the heart of the business district and well connected. Water and tea/coffee were placed on all floors for the guests use which was good.
The rooms and toilets are small and weirdly built.
The location , self service of basic aminities like coffee , water etc was the highlight of this place.
That the pre booked airport transfer was no-show.
How the front desk staff handled the situation when the pre booked airport transfer was no-show. Very kind, understanding and professional. Thanks!
Everything! The room was perfect for a family with 3 young children, the water station was a BIG help, the room was quiet and comfortable, the staff were exceptional!
I cant think of anything.
World center is my favorite hotel to stay in NY. I first stayed here for a work trip and really liked it. I like it for the location, its close to mid town for shopping and many great restaurants Plus there is a century21 5 min walk away.
The temperature panel in the room lighted up during the night. The room was often very cold 63* F, day and night.
The personnel at the frontdesk were outstanding. Lai and Judge were very helpful and complying. The position of the hotel is outstanding
Just a FYI.. there is construction on a park outside the hotel and maybe a temp police station (?) so you do walk a little out of the way to get around but no big deal, and the noise didn't bother us. Since we had a kitchenette it would have been nice to have some small trash bags and a couple coffee filters on hand but no big deal, not even a complaint!
Stayed the week of New Year's Eve in a kitchenette room on the 15th floor. Staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. The bed was firm, my son seemed comfy in the sofa bed. Right next door to the 9/11 Memorial. 2 sides of the room were huge windows so the room felt very open with lots of sunlight. Subway stations fairly close. Several restaurants nearby. Would stay here again.
I think it is poor for there to be two hotels connected and both be advertising at different rates. This made me very dissatisfied. I felt ripped off the rooms are super small and the workout area is super small the resturant at the top was the main thing that made us chose the world center and that appeared to be outside in the photos and it was all inclosed. Everything was very misleading. I also paid extra for a view room and I got the 5th floor no good view couldn't see the memorial site I saw ugly construction and trees yet I paid over 300.00 extra for this
