one of the servers during our banquet wreaked of tobacco and left a horrendous smell in his wake. Other than that, the service, wait staff, food, etc. was awesome!
Guest services did aim to accommodate our needs.
Parking/front desk access from outside was not easy. Was very difficult have a speedy checkout with no cash drawer the Front Desk Manager had to go and collect change for a 20$
this place is okay if you need to stay around the area. There is no charm or character and value for money isn't great. That said, it delivers basic amenities that one might need.
The shuttle has restricted operating hours and the room was pretty unclean/not well maintained. Basic renovation is needed.
Upscale experience for amazing price!
Beautiful surroundings, walking distance to Ruths Chris

The bed the pillows and the shower all excellent
Very comfortable bed and pillows.
The heater or AC unit in the room was very loud. It would click on and off through the night. I couldn't sleep, but my husband had no problem sleeping.
Staff responded well to special requests.
No doorman to help with luggage upon arrival. It is located far from central Princeton and I was not informed about shuttle service until I asked.
A lot of parking space. Nice bathroom. Airco worked very good and silent. Friendly staff.
The hotel is located a 10min drive away from the center of Princeton. The breakfast is not a buffet, but a menu. So it took a while before it was ready. It contains only "big meals", no light breakfast like a few rolls or croissants. My company had a special reduced rate, otherwise, the rate is quite high.
Princeton is an excellent town to visit. As long as you dont stay at this westin.
Staff is slow, didnt clean the room, didnt bring out water bottles even when asked for it TWICE !! STAY AWAY from this clowns. Just get double tree which is literrally next door. http://www.booking.com/hotel/us/doubletree-princeton.html
Price for one night was ridiculous.
Easy access to shopping in the area
Free WiFi prompted me to pay $9.95 per day. The hotel is very noisy. The kids which attended a tournament were roaming around the hallways and slamming the doors at 11 p.m. But the BAR PARRALELS took the cake. They did manage to slap some fraudulent fees charged to my room, even though I never told them what room I was as I charged the drinks + 20% tip to my CC. They had a freedom to look up my room number under my CC name and pass additional money as a charge from their bar to my account. I guess 20% tip was not enough and who knows how many patrons got similar extra tips for waiters slapped the same way with. Most people will not notice an additional $9 charge without any explanation what for and who authorized it. I can't recommend this place.
Noise from guests in middle of night. Called desk but it continued all night. Next to ice maker so additional noise 24/7. Changed rooms but hall noise was everywhere-not only from sports teams but adults. Perhaps a quiet floor/wing for full paying adults. Possibly allow teams a complimentary unused conference room to socialize rather than the halls.
Staff ,environment , restaurants accessible , pool, room, complimentary bottled water and fruit infused water in lobby. Very professional staff, clean environment, relaxed atmosphere
Nice hotel...room clean
Large group of folks. Loud, messy
good location or wedding in Princeton
odd room design with closet door in way of bathroom sink expensive breakfast/drinks very noisy ice machine
The woman who checked me in upon my arrival, Nicole, was super friendly and helpful. Needed to arrange a taxi for a 12 minute ride to a party I needed to attend and she called a taxi company for me.
Taxi company charged $50.00 for a 12 minute ride; totally outrageous. More than Manhattan rates. Found an alternative ride back to the hotel.
This is a much cheaper alternative to staying at the Nassau Inn (which clearly has the better location if you are visiting Princeton university). This hotel is clean and comfortable and there is a very good Ruth Chris's Steakhouse nearby.
The Forrestral village is a modern build with no charm at all. But the advantage is lots of free parking, three decent restaurants and bars, and quick access to route 1.
The Westin Forrestal Village is conveniently located, just a short drive away from Princeton University. There are several restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The staff is very courteous and professional. There is a complimentary service bar on the sixth floor that is open most of the day and has refreshments, coffee and snacks, as well as breakfast until 9 am, and appetizers served in the afternoon. The hotel has ample complimentary parking.
Compared to other Westin properties, there are some areas on the outside of the property (such as canopies) that are somewhat worn down.
Everything! Great updated hotel, food was good, beds were comfortable and the amenities were awesome! Would recommend to everyone!
I didn't have a microwave in my room and needed one being that I had small children, next time I will request one with the reservation.
It's always a nice stay at Westin Forrestal. The front desk staff make you feel immediately welcomed. Our reservation "special" requests were all honored and fulfilled!
It's not a "dislike" but a wish. Wish that the little shopping boutiques in the area of Forrestal Park were open extended hours and in some cases just not closed for good. At Westin, we did miss having access to the Starbucks in the hotel. Often closed.
Parking a bit far
