Location was good. Staff was wonderful!
Probably the access to the hotel via car. Difficult even pulling up. Construction work and blocked streets didn't help. Room service breakfast, marginal at best. Coffee cold. Not worth the money.
Very modern very clean. Great view. Great bed.
Clean, nice location
The bath room door is not full cover, so the water is everywhere after shower
Balcony outside our door. The rooftop was amazing at night. Close proximity to subway.
the humidity level in the room made the sheets damp. It seemed to come from the air con.
Adore the floor to ceiling windows. Fabulous views of the city. Comfortable bed and soft linens. Very contemporary decor. Very clean. Very pleasant and helpful personnel. Hotel well situated.
Location of the restaurant in the basement. Too cold temperature wise and desperately lacking natural light. Need towel rack in bedroom. Could have used drawers to put non hanging clothing away.
Excellent staff-Janice and Ling were awesome! Very modern and clean hotel.
Gets a bit loud, especially on the lower floors.
Clean modern rooms. Helpful front desk staff
Restaurant meals were poor and breakfast staff seem to have little idea what to do
Friendly staff that made our stay hassle-free and enjoyable. View from balcony was incredible!
Great lovations, great facilities and room and wifi. Staff could have been more serviceminded and smile more. More positive attitude, especially the Female Asien Staff. The Young Asien bar guy had a wonderful openminded attitude and service. All in all great stay! LP/denmark
The female Staff at The arrival. Brush up on The attitude could be great.
My husband & I loved the location. We were able to walk every we wanted to go, did not have to get a cab or on a subway the whole trip! We will be back!!
The view from the rooms and the architecture of this hotel are both truly beautiful, but what keeps me coming back is the professional and friendly staff they keep around!
location location location staff are very very good and nice
bath room are bad disige
Room was always clean and well air conditioned. Subway station near by that will get you to all of the tourist attractions.
Room was very small, but fine if you only intend to sleep there at night and are out all day. Our room had a balcony which was attached to the rooms on the same floor, so could be a security risk if you forget to lock your back door.
Needs a towel rack in the bathrooms.
Clean, comfortable, great location and friendly staff.
There was no shower door and water was everywhere! It was odd since ther was only a shower.
Clean. Internet connect is good.
No complementary waters.
The BEST hotel staff in all of New York! All of the staff at the front desk are very courteous, attentative and always have a smile on their faces as soon as they see you - I love the fact that they will stop what they are doing for one second to greet you. This was the second time I stayed at this hotel and they welcome me back "home". They remembered what I liked to do and updated me on the happenings, just like friends do! Roof-top bar is very convenient, and the bartendars are great! The view from my hotel room (10th floor) was breathtaking, as well as the view from the roof-top bar.
I am not a fan of the location, although the hotel is in the vicinity Little Italy, its still quite a walk to subway stations - therefore, its really not that safe to walk late at night. I would recommend taking a cab to the hotel late at night rather than taking the subway and walking in the questionable neighborhood.
Hotel was very clean, nice room with a comfy bed. Very good airco. Bathroom was spotless, only a bit annoying when taking a shower, half of the bathroom got wet. Ask for a room on a high floor -> great view towards Empire State Building
Curtains were "golden" colour, which meant it got very bright as soon as sun got up. Also if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs if you have a room on lower level, traffic is loud on Browery (we had room on the 6th).
The hotel is located in Chinatownm lower East-side, so it is close enough to the Downtown and the financial center as well as the Midtown with all its entertainments. The neighbourhood itself is rather safe to walk around even during night time. The reception staff is helpful, we had several deliveries from amazon sent to this hotel, and they all were collected by the receptionists and handled to us safely. Our room on the 10th floor was nice and clean and had a lovely view on the midtown, the Empire state building and all the scyscrapers
A breakfast included in the room price would be good. They only provide a coffee-maker and the fridge, but there's only enough coffee for 2 cups. They don't replace the paper coffee cups too. So I would prefer having a regular cups with plates, and spoons.
Great views, comfortable room with good size for the money; good size and well fitted bathroom. All newly redone.
loud bar area at entry.
Extremely helpful staff, clean hotel overall, nicely designed, but small room. Nice sheets and pillows, very comfortable bed. The room was very quiet at night and the a/c worked well and was easy to control. Fast room service.
The bathrooms in all the rooms (we asked) do not have vents equipped with fans, so after showering, it was always steamed up. It was strange. The lobby bar noise echoes into the lobby - it's kind of unpleasant. The lounge on the 18th floor was disappointing - only open after 8pm,very loud club music, not many seats, great view though.
Friendly staff, nice room size (for NYC), nice view of Midtown (9th floor). Location, even if a little iffy, is right between Little Italy and the Lower East Side, and close to 2-3 subway stations.
Location a little iffy, not the best (or cleanest) neighbourhood in Manhattan.
The huge windows gave an amazing view of midtown Manhattan. The hotel is very close to Manhattan & Brooklyn bridges, which is convenient.
Offering coffee whitener vs. milk is cheap. It's a real disappointing way to wake up. There isn't another coffee shop very close by, so it would be nice to get your own. It's obvious the hotel is just getting on its way after new management or a reno. The concierge isn't overly helpful or knowledgable.
Quiet room, responsive to my request. And helpful staff.
Coffee maker in the room was hard to operate, though it ultimately did work.
Pretty much everything. New and very comfortable hotel, polite staff, great views from rooms on higher floors.
Breakfast is ok, but $20 can get you much better one in Little Italy, which is a couple blocks away.
