Score from 934 reviews Wonderful
Room was smelling and not really clean. Staff was overloaded with the rush of people in Boston for the marathon.
Close to all nice to see spots in Boston
I could hear the elevator going up and down, all evening and all night. Hard to rest! Avoid room #1413
I loved the location and staff.
Fitness center lacks size and weights
I felt the help was very unhelpful! Nobody knew where anything was or how to get there. One waitress forgot all about us at breakfast time, not even coffee before she forgot about us. Also, the rate that was quoted by booking.com was $199 per night, we were charged $199 for Sunday and $250 for Monday! Plus 14% tax, shame on Boston. I'm still waiting for my email receipt from the hotel. Like I said very unhelpful!!!
I liked the pillows. I won $400 on a scratch-off at the train station waiting to go home
Accessibility to restaurants and shopping.
The beds are not comfortable. We could hear the elevator going up and down from our room. We did not have a tv that worked and the tub drained slow. We had to switch rooms
Contrary to prior reviews, I found the staff of this hotel to be consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms are consistent in size to others in downtown Boston (smallish), but given the price is significant lower than other similarly located hotels, the Wyndham is a comfortable bargain. It was easy to walk all of Boston and if walking isn't your preferred mode of transportation, the T is a quick block away. There's also a Starbucks across the street and a Wholefoods directly behind the hotel. Talk about convenience!
Convenient location, helpful staff
The staff of the hotel was great . The security/ bell staff was extraordinarily accomidtating
Room view cleanliness price
Location staff at front desk
I didn't like that they put a hold of $75 on your bill for room service fees even if you don't get room service.
Restaurant was pricy and the Bar closed to early.
The Staff were incredible. The Bell Boys were top notched and the front desk staff were very good. Rooms were very clean. The highlight is location. We were in walking distance from everything important to us other than Fenway.
1.Walking distance to MGH. 2. gentleman out front on duty at 5:00 am, watched as I walked over to the hospital, made me feel more secure knowing someone was within shouting distance.
Great location, very close to everything if willing to walk, with metro stations close by for trips further afield.
Good location, a lot of history. was fun to walk the streets with my children. Near td bank garden and museums. Valet service was great!
There was just one issue. When we checked in there was no record of our booking and we had a number of very anxious moments to wait until the issue was resolved. When I asked what had happened there was no explanation given. This I wasn't happy with.
Room was very comfortable. Food was excellent.
They wouldn't compensate guests due to no electricity for whole day in hotel. There was NO advance notice sent they kept changing their story. No heat as well.
Rooms were clean and comfortable atmosphere. Shopping near by.
Close to the TD Bank Garden for our evening with Neil Diamond.
The Valets outside were so friendly and literally chased down Taxis for us! Hotel was very clean!
I didn't like paying 48$ to park ;(
Location was Great!
Shower water was lukewarm. We had to request soap in the bathroom. Wifi was free but we could not access it for the entire stay which was only from 7:00 p.m. until noon the following day!
Convenience to MGH. Friendly staff at front desk, bar and restaurant.
double beds too tight for two adults need queen beds
the room had a musty odor the bathroom has no fan and to pay 300 dollars a night and you can't get a refrigerator or microwave not worth it.
convenient to a lot of places we walk to.the cleaning ladies were very nice.
