Wyndham Garden Hotel Manhattan Chelsea West    

It was quiet, well located and clean.

Nothing really, although I was only there for a few hours.

Pretty girls at the reception: Always highly appreciated.

No fridge / minibar in the room.

Great hotel, great staff.

I have just arrived home to find I have been debited $1341 in total- when the price for 3 nights was around the $800 mark. I am guessing "taxes" are responsible, although I was not made aware of this. Very unhappy.

Staff was very friendly. Room was updated and clean

Room was a little small but manageable.

Hotel Staff were all excellent. Cheerful , accommodating and professional. Bed was very comfortable and linens were great.

Surprisingly the biggest issue that will keep us from using this hotel again was all table/floor lamps created such a glare that we had to put bath towels over them to be comfortable watching TV or reading. Also the water pressure in the shower was fair at best.

Pre-stay charges on my credit card were erroneous and took substantial time to correct. Utterly incompetent handling. Unacceptable!

Location was excellent three nice restraurants on our street and at the end Madison Square and eataly coffee bar. Staff was very nice and helpful. Wish there was a sit down lobby, etc. Beds and room very comfortable. Close to buses, subway, taxis.

The elevators were always slow and once did not work. They need a maintenance elevator. ~~Mostly did not like small lobby and very expensive drinks at the restaurant. Coffee machines/terrible.My friend did not like the noise of the blowers and small size of room. I thought for nyc they fine.

Great location in the middle of everything. Subway stop just a few meters away. Nice and helpful staff. The hotel is so to say attached to an Indian restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and Starbucks around the corner. Will definitely come back.

I took a double room and it was small, but that's very common in Manhattan.

Locaton was key for us. Staff was helpful, friendly and neat/well groomed.

Rooms are small (but we understand that about most NYC hotels).

Accessibility. Use of gym facilities and a Starbucks on the corner.

NYC is pricey, but this worked out great for what my son and I needed.

Excellent service. Starting from the front desk person, Anastasia (the front desk lady), who helped us, guide us, etc. She really made our stay, an exceptional experience. Very happy for choosing The Wyndham Chelsea Garden Hotel. I recomend this hotel to every one I know. It is centrally located. Walking distance to everywhere. Quiet street..... long story short... an excellent hotel and incredible service. Good job Anastasia. :)

Nice Italian restaurant across the street

The room is a bit small and tight and it's easy to lose things in there, too many decorative pillows to deal with (no place to put them while in bed) no convenient place to put the coffee maker, coffee maker leaked all three days (couldn't figure out how to not make it leak, cups too big?) closet wouldn't close properly, water from shower floods floor easily, vent in bathroom is extremely loud

I liked the king size bed and the flat screen tv the clean room

That we couldn't pay in cash n we had to go buy a $60 prepaid card and it was to expensive for what we got.

Location, location, location also front desk staff and good accommodations with comfortable bed and good sized bathroom.

A small fridge in the room would be a good addition.

Location and convenience

A bag with my undergarments was lost. Asked about it 3 times to hosekeeping but got no definite answer and the items did not turn up.

My room was comfortable, the proximity to shopping, dinning and transportation. Cleanliness and organization.

Thecheckin manager was kind enough to put me in a "quiet room". The king bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff, including everyone that I encountered were friendly and professional. I would deffinitely return!

I booked this hotel because it was advertised as have a gym...however it does not ,though you can have passes to a local gym in the area. I was very disappointed with this since it continues to be advertised as having a gym!! Be honest!

Enjoyed our stay. Room may be small but it was still very comfortable. Had all the amenities. The price was right and would definitely go back if the price stays around the same.
