Wyndham Garden Hotel Newark Airport  

Husabnd left expensive camera in room,contacted staff about an hour after departure they immediately retrieved camera and kept it secire until we returned a week later.enjoyed our meal in restaurant

Location was convenient but would not stay there again. I would rather pay the additional fee and be comfortable

They checked us into a room already occupied by other guests. Front desk staff very unfriendly and unattentive to guests.

5 min to Newark airport. Good airport shuttle service. I wanted to go shopping to Jersey Gardens and the Wyndham was a very convenient option. Nice and comfortable bed.

breakfast available only on menu. starlight restaurant attached to hotel is doesnot have much options. food not great. there are no nearby other restaurants or shops. so entirely dependant on star light restaurant.

nothing! was a very poor hotel, went to our room on the 5th floor, saw multiple trash bins in a line in middle of hallway, we realized that they were there to catch the water that was leaking from the ceiling! It was raining outside. The bed was horrid, felt like a cardboard mattress, terrible sleep. Left the hotel 4 hrs later to catch a flight. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. Not worth a dollar. Waste of money, next time will sleep on airport benches, probably more comfortable.

It was good location, very convenient with the shuttle every half hour. And a coffe shop open 24/7. Our room was clean and comfy

The hotel was old and that day was raining a lot so we saw some leaking from the cealling in the hallway.

Was easy to commute to New York.We liked the shuffle service.The food and the service at the restaurant ( Starlite) were excellent.

It was difficult to get the right room temperature;too cold or too hot.

The hotel had everything I needed available to me conveniently. We had no trouble shuttling to and from Newark Airport. The hotel was clean, affordable, and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I often have trouble sleeping in hotels, but Wyndam was quiet so that I could sleep easily. I would definitely book this hotel again.

One drawer wouldn't stay closed in the dresser. For safety, the window didn't open. I love fresh air, but I guess upper floors have to consider safety first.

Location near airport.

Hard to find. Needs much better signage if renting a car. Published address does not work on GPS very frustrating. Needs a better restaurant. Needs updating.

Close to Newark Airport.

Pillows on bed too hard although one was softer than the other.

stay here only if you have to there is nothing in the area execpt the airport If you are here for an event at the Prudental Center...STAY IN Manhatten.....there are cheep hotels there and your in the city..take the amtrack to the event

$25 dollar ride to the Prudental center $20 to Penn station there is nothing in the area its not the hotels fault...its there for airport passangers ...nothing else

Staff was very helpful. Liked that the restaurant was attached. The room was very cleana nd the beds were comfortable.

The location is difficult to get to from 78. You cannot get there from Haynes Avenue and the address on the website is not the actual address. It could not be found on my gps. We had to call the hotel for directions. Using the gps with the Industrial Drive address got us to the Best Western which is right next door.

Check in was smooth and front desk was friendly

The room was awful. It didnt look like an obvious smoking room but it smelled horribly like cigarette smoke. The toliet had rust stains in the bottom, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the remote didn't work and the shower had hair in it.

the staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. The two names I could remember is Ms. Frazier and Jose' (I think) they made me and my family feel apart of their family. after a long day of walking in Manhattan/Time Square, and getting on and off the trains and buses it was very welcoming to return to such warm smiles and friendliness. The gift shop was always fully stocked and had reasonable prices. Again I formed relationship with the lady there also. She was very helpful in answering all my questions and was willing to assist me. This was my first time to New Jersey/New York and on my next visit I'll be sure to stay at this hotel. Before booking, I read the comments from past guest and I booked because they spoke so well about the staff. Service means alot to me and they did deliver. my opinion is that the staff sells this location and is no doubt the greatest asset for Wyndham Garden. I hope management recognizes this and I wish them all the best, continue to do the great job that your doing.

the hotel's down fall is that there wasn't a fridge or microwave in the rooms. however the staff was real nice and they heated our food for us. Any the free wifi kept cutting in and out. But once again, the staff was real nice. when i brought this to their attention on my return off my cruise I was given another room and I had NO problem. but other persons in my group had to go i the hall ways

Clean, Comfortable, rate was reasonable.

The entrance is easy to miss. Wifi only work as it desired, don't count on it.

Believe the other opinions, the best are very, very hard. Beyond firm; just plain hard. I had booked 4 nights and my back hurt so much after 3 nights I left and lost the money of night 4. Beyond that, if you stay on the 2nd floor, be prepared to constantly have to dodge housekeeping as they gather there at all hours. I strongly recommend you avoid this hotel. The low cost does not justify what you end up getting.
