We stayed during the Rodeo Cookoff so we had a late evening and the cleaning staff was vacuuming before 9:00am which woke us up.
Paper thin walls. Very distracted by noise from ajoining rooms.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Serves room & coset
The adjoining room,no TV guide,no free continental breakfast,had to pay for parking,overall I give it a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10.
The shower and the view
It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel and was $200 but they didn't have a valet, I couldve stayed at a LaQuinta or Hilton for half of what I paid.
Had breakfast in restaurant, little pricey for bacon & eggs!
Great service, desk clerks very friendly!
Breakfast was very poor.
The room was not very clean. Hair in the tub and the water would not drain. I told the people at front desk but they did nothing about it. Also, the building must be old. You could hear rattling pipes and water drains. Thought for the price I would be getting something much better. The room was also very small. We traveled with two young kids. No space for anything other then to lay down.
one of three elevators was broken, increasing wait for elevator
For the price of room I feel breakfast should have been included.
Wonderful beds. wanted to take it with me. would visit again and refer friends.
We had to keep calling for silverware and soap for the dishes.
The staff was friendly. My family and I loved the bellman Keith and the shuttle bus lady. They were so sweet & c ok concerned if we needed anything. Love them both!
I arrived early as mentioned in my reservation and was unable to have access to the room with my family until late afternoon even though site stated they would make every effort to have room ready by noon.
Not being informed of a $16 per day charge to park my car, and all parking is outside, uncovered.
Hotel was ok, they had some kind of party in the lobby, which was very loud.
We checked in, went to our room, and tried calling room service for 45 minutes before we reached them to order dinner. An hour later we got a call that the kitchen closed down because someone cut their finger. They told us there were vending machines on our floor or we could have dinner outside the hotel. The vending machines only had drinks. We had to leave the hotel to find dinner elsewhere. Upon our return we asked for a 4am wake up call as I had to be at MD Anderson hospital at 5am. The call never came. We overslept and were late for the surgery. All in all it was a terrible night for which we were charged over $260, which was rediculous to begin, much less after such poor service.
Never changed sheets, late w/towels, Forgot glasses in room, Slow internet. Over 1000us for 3 nights, a joke. The restaurant & bar were so unappealing & staffed by rude staff we never eat there. The front desk obviously do not have any training on how to behave in public. Talking loudly to each across the room is really annoying while you are standing there waiting for attention.
The van drivers were very helpful to the Med Center.
Trying to overcharge at checkout, we won't use them again
Close to MDAnderson
The fact that there wasn't an ice machine on each floor instead of having to go down to the odd floors to get ice.
The peace & quietness the view of where our room was. Just lovely.
The only thing I did not like was the 8.00 parking fee that was not mentioned for the original quotation.
Everything about the hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The room was exceptional. The location to the medical centers and free shuttle worked out well for us. Great stay.
bathroom has no ventilation and shower water pressure was not strong.
Location, when I came off the elevator the staff greeted me a Hello!
Terrible wifi reception, which many reviews have shared and its true. Walls too thin.
The location was great and was close to Rice University and the Museum District. Also near to the Galleria.
The internet and the size of the room.
I did not have any problems with the hotel. It was convenient and close to everything.
Over priced. Outdated bathrooms. Not cleaned well during our stay. Mediocre food in restaurant.
Close to the hospitals and free wifi
