Score from 55 reviews Wonderful
Black mold in shower. Faucet broken. Phone in room did not work.
Lobby was outstanding!
Rooms just a little outdated
The valet service is excellent-these guys were professionals and you were not worried about your car. The hotel is near everything.
In the room we were in, the bathroom was so small. The TV took up all the space on the dresser, no place to put your personal items, they had to go on the floor. Also, no microwave. All in all though not a bad experience, good hotel.
To far to walk to get any where in the hotel
staff was very friendly however service was extremely slow
room was awful. it smelled ,the view was over a/c units, bathrooms not overly clean.
The room was okay..I had too switch to another room because. It was a room that was missing stuff...
The smell of 215 and the bathroom door was missing parts and when you use the shower water want every where..almost fall in the shower..an the front desk clerk the man was very unpleasant ...
Bathrooms need to be updated
Location was good
Bed frame was broke
excellent value for money
corridors and rooms need painting
Location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast
Excellent Location with Water Taxi at the property. Me and my fiancé were in town for the Paul McCartney concert and having the water taxi on location was a huge plus. We never drove off site, we simply took water taxi and walked everywhere.. took taxi to the downtown/landing during day & then took taxi to concert pier that night. If you are in town for a Concert or for a Football game, this is the alternative to a overpriced hotel across the river. Has a nice open bar right inside the lobby, bartender's do make a serious effort to provide a quality product with what they have on stock. We arrived around 11am on a Saturday and the bar was open. Pool tables are off on the opposite side of the bar/food area and I believe the pool tables are free. Staff is great and do great job... Good Downtown Location for the Price!!!
Unfortunately the place is a bit aged and/or has a run down appearance. I am in construction and in my opinion this place needs a renovation. This should in no way be a decision toward the staff as they are excellent.
Found a cockroach in my room Room not comfortable
Friendly staff Convenient location Breakfast was good
Smelled dirty Outside noises were easily heard Needed repairs Light in bathroom area didn't work well
Had late availability, great location, very nice and helpful staff, basic stuff you need (shower worked very well for me, wifi worked, nice towels, gym)
There is a sense of age and faded glory about the place. For such a huge hotel, the bar should be open when customers want it open, not closing at 11pm. I arrived late after flying 20 hours to get there, why shouldn't I have a beer or two? The bar area is also a bit dark, so you can't do any work there with a cold beer. They have other such silly rules as well about forcing you to have the buffet breakfast rather than providing a service, say to cook two poached eggs and toast, etc. As a result I went out all the time. Their financial loss!
Room size, bed, room was clean
Wifi was down my whole stay, for a business traveler, killed my afternoon productivity. Restaurant was average at best and overpriced, understaffed bar with 2 tvs. Hotel is located on south bank of river, very little to do, sparse restaurants or shopping, this part of city completely shuts down at night. Hotel is old, needs a facelift including a much overdue paint job, the halls are dingy and dirty
The price is good compared to the big names around, in particular our conference hotel. You get to walk 25 minutes to the conference hotel on the other side of the river; nice exercise. Skytrain next to the hotel; free rides to the centre on weekdays. Close to some really good restaurants and brew pubs!
Everything is a bit old and dusty; Things start to fall apart; For some reason people don't stay here any more; The area is a bit empty.
room service was too high and not good , did not have much on the menu,
had no remote, phone was not work, and was not clean
water taxi...very friendly staff...excellent breakfast buffet...very friendly valet staff
rooms could use an upgrade. it was clean room, just dated.
It was so close to the arena. We just had to get a water taxi to cross the river and we were there. We had come to see the Paul McCartney concert so the location was great. The hotel is older but the room was comfortable and spacious. Would stay there again.
Breakfast was just so so. It was a buffet and the food had been sitting there for awhile.
Location and overall building is nice. Staff are courteous.
The entire interior, carpets, furniture, wall papers and linens needs to be replaced. Bed mattress being dated and heavily used did not make for a comfortable sleep. No regular amenities like coffee maker, hair dryer in the room. Lightning was poor and some lamps were not working.
The bed was comfortable
I didn't like the price for one thing, if I pay that much I except the TV to work and the remote. The blow drier didn't work and the tub didn't drain. I told your staff and they could care less.
Valet Parking was convenient. Hotel was an ok location, close to downtown.
Tried to order room service and there was no answer, left message and noone replied. Called Valet once and again no answer. In the morning I went down for the free coffee and there was none. Overall I got the impression that service was not a priority at this hotel.
Worst hotel I have ever staywd in. Nothing to like at all about the hotel.
Rude staff and the dirtiest rooms and hallways I have ever seen.
First appearance(lobby) it looked great.
Took almost an hour of back and forth to get my door to open. Room was musty smelling and moldy.
