The staff was friendly
- there was no spa although it said in the site - the hotel was in renovation! - the restaurant was closed! - the 24hr gym was closed because of a heating problem - the room was small, furnishment old, not even glasses for a drink
The visit was very smooth , quick & everyone was very friendly & helpful ... The location on the Wayndham was perfect for me . The room is kids friendly ... My kids enjoyed the stay also .
Renovations slow elevators
Clean and comfortable. Great bathroom and bathtub. Very quiet. Staff very professional. Convenient location.
Expensive. I know this is Manhattan so that is expected but there are some comparable hotels in the vicinity that can be booked for a bit less.
Amenities were excellent: brand-new kitchen and bath, (even though furniture, shelves and drawers were clearly ancient); free laundry with brand-new machines; beautiful penthouse-level lounge; books to borrow; courteous staff eager to help.
The Booking.com website tells you “Free Wi-Fi,” -- only to discover that refers to a tediously-slow Internet, and that you must pay $15 per day for a decent connection.
Location Maid service quite good
Because of renovation the Lobby area was awful as were the elevators. Had I known I would not have stayed here

Furniture- time to change to new one
Great location, lots of places to eat and drink near the hotel. 5 minute walk to Grans Central station.
Staff were rude, did not greet us as we left/ returned to the hotel. No food or drink Available within the hotel. No refrigerator or coffee facilities within the room. Furniture was broken and did not match. On 4 separate occasions the room was not cleaned, bed was unmade and the towels were not changed.
Pretty much everything.
Check out by 10am or else large fees imposed of $100 per hour. Though possible this was a New Year premium.
The only thing nice is the setup of the room & the cleanliness
The staff was horrible!! They were friendly when I checked in but I tried to have friends over & they just were very rude!! It def was not worth the money
Spacious good shower
Bit tired in need of tlc. Some staff not helpful. Booked for two adults and children had to use living room sofa as child's bed
I liked how spacious the studio that I reserved and the bathroom TV as well as the kitchen.
there was two lamps that weren't working and the room had some electrical problem which ruined two of my chargers.
This was an excellent location and price for New York City right in midtown and close to Empire State Building, Grand Central and a short walk to Moma, the Guggenheim and Fifth Avenue. The room was fantastic with amazing retro wooden pieces, white linen and cream walls. There was great and helpful service. One of the highlights is the lounge on level 33 which overlooks the city lights. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
The bed was very comfortable.
No amenities. Service was sub-par.
The room was entirely to small, the space to get to the bathroom was so narrow my fiancé and I both have bruises on our shins from the wooden bench in the "hallway". Also the pillows were to soft, no support, the bed was way to hard and the worst part was the stiff cardboard like waffle sheet that was supposed to be a comforter. We also heard everything that was going on in the rooms next to us, there were multiple times throughout the night that we actually heard their toilets flushing, so needless to say we got no sleep. Because of these reasons we will not be staying here again unfortunately.
Apart of the location, I liked the room itself, kitchen is quite helpful and the TV in the bathroom is just perfect. I will definitely come back - I might have found my hotel in NY: good price, good location, clean, quiet, that's all I need.
There were some packages delivered to me and the staff had a hard time to find a few of these packages. Also the free wifi internet in the room is too slow, but really that's the only things to be improved I can recall.
we loved our stay that's why we go back there ...
Received a nice upgrade.
This was a first time staying at this property. I reserved 2 double beds and was upgraded to a 2 BR suite upon check in. My friends and I were so happy with the accommodation. Will definitely stay here again!
We got to the hotel and they said they overbooked the hotel so they were relocating us to their other hotel on the other side or the city. They gave us $10 for a $20 cab ride that took 45 min.
The room looked "tired". Needs update. The fridge on the floor is pathetic!
bathroom was nice and it was large.
bed and room furniture were to low to the floor!
