The Hotel was really nice and the beds were so comfortable! We were steps from all the action!!! We will definitely stay here again.
The elevator waiting
Staff was very friendly and helpful and the pool had extended hours.
My room was right in front of the elevators--not only was the elevator noise terrible, but also the people waiting to get on the elevator were so LOUD at all hours.
location was pretty good
very noisy, inside and outside very dark and uninviting room Not worth $500 for 2 nights with no breakfast Stairs to get down to the hallway to room
slow service at front desk and the slow elavators
Amy Ross at the front desk was very helpful and a lovely woman. She made sure our stay was great! The location is about a 22-25 min walking distance from the convention center for Comic Con, which is where we were going. Walking along the shops on Royal St. was my fav part. The Room service was great also. Would recommend and will stay again.
Because of it's location, it was slightly noisy at night on the streets. But it's to be expected since its parallel to Bourbon St.
Location, nice hotel. Clean.
Elevators were EXTREMELY slow. The whe time we were there it was a big wait for elevators. All other guests were frustrated too.
Bed was super comfortable!
Could hear the elevator all night long and we were two hall ways away from them. Also one one of four elevators work.
The location of the hotel was great
The Consiears that I spoke with did not seem to have any good information. I was told 2 events that were going on in town that did not exist. The Front desk was not prepared to deal with issues at check-in On my 3rd day (all in a 30 minute time) the washing machine broke, a pipe broke above my bathroom, and another guest was checked into my room. I was told to stand in line all 3 times and wait my turn to talk to someone about this. The manager seemed shocked that I was upset by the 3rd time
Nicw quiet room, friendly attentive staff, saltwater pool, close to trolley line.
The cost of receipt is not match the mount of money charging on my credit card. This incident reduced my trust for this hotel. I called and asked the reception twice, but didn't get any answer.
Bryant at the front desk made our day- always love running into people from Mississippi. Great guy and great staff- keep it going Wyndham- we'll be back!
The drunks and beggers outside the hotel
Great location Clean room
Location, staff, &price.
Courteous staff, great location, clean rooms.
Our room was right next to the elevators. We could hear the pullies for a good chunk of the evening as well as some very disrespectful guests returning from bourbon st.
too few and too slow elevators.
Room was clean and quiet.
You will need your own hot spot here..... Wifi is slow slow slow. Also, the bathroom is very small.
Location, walking distance to french quarter and several restaurants
The location was great. We never had an issue with a lack of towels and the housekeeping staff was friendly.
We arrived at the hotel, parked, then was instructed to move up to the parking tower then come down and check in, then go back up and get our luggage. We checked in went up to the room and discovered it was not what we reserved, so we went back down to the front desk to explain that we had 6 people staying in the room that's why we reserved 2 double beds and double room with a sofa sleeper. The room that was given was a king single. The rude lady at the front desk said since we went through booking.com there's nothing they could do. I then spoke to the manager and he instructed the rude lady to give us a double room. I told her we also needed a rollaway bed, she said the room wasn't big enough for a rollaway, the manager once again found a larger room to accommodate the rollaway. After all this the lady informs me that there will be a $20.00 per day charge for the rollaway, and again insisted that it was our fault for using booking.com. I demanded to speak to the manager once again and he did let us have the rollaway free of charge. This whole process took over an hour and a half, very disappointed!! I travel very frequently for work and pleasure and this is the first time I've been treated like this, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Close to Bourbon St. Heated pool was great. Nice parking garage attached. Great restaurant attached to main entry area. Taxi drivers out front.
The rooms were clean enough but that's about it.
The staff member who checked us in seemed irritated to do so. But the best part was when a bellhop was so determined to get on the elevator he didn't let guest on first and felt it was okay to run the luggage cart into me, pushing me against the back of the elevator while running the cart over my foot. On the way out of the elevator the bellhop about smacked another guest in the face with luggage cart and he would have if she hadn't reacted so fast. The man didn't even apologize! Later that day we were waiting for the elevator with another couple, we had all been waiting awhile when a staff member walks up and lets us all know that we will have to wait for the next available elevator or wait until she gets to her floor before pushing buttons for our floors. I will never stay there again or recommend the place to anyone else. I'm a local and often recommend hotels to people who visit and would like to stay in the Quarter for a night or two, this place will never be recommended.
Poorly managed property. We reserved weeks in advance, checked in at 2 pm, and were told the room was not ready, and that we would be called when the room was available and ready. We never received the phone call. We checked back in at 4 pm, and were told we would have to wait in line with the people who had shown up hours after we did. The wait in line was about an hour long (this is not an exaggeration). When we finally got our room, it was not what we had reserved. We had reserved a room with a king size bed. This was the worst check-in experience I have ever had. Unbelievably poorly organized and executed process. Their excuse was that they were full. The only thing keeping them in business is the location.
friendly service at desk
restaurant attached next door ,poor service and food.
The door man was nice
I didnt like the fact that I have a daughter that is in a wheel chair and that we had to drive two cars. When we checked out, we were charged $140.00 for parking for our two vehicles. I have never stayed at a hotel where I had to pay to park my vehicle. The over pricing wasnt enough for the room but now I get charged to park while I stay in the same hotel. The manager wouldnt even listen to us at all to try and resolve the situation. We stay at Wyndam Hotels when we travel but now we will find us another hotel to stay at when we travel from now on.
