The ice machine on the floor was broken. Hallways very small. TV had to be moved closer to bed because of its size. Room was very small. Will not stay again unless a better weekend rate is given.
Very good price for the location staff is very friendly make us feel at home and safe we have a two yr old son and they have the best indoor pool downtown
Elevators are VERY slow and noisy. No refrigerator in our room.
Location was awesome, staff was very friendly, helpful and honest about places worth seeing or not.
Shout out to your amazing front desk staff Reginald and Veronica. They both made our stay worthwhile.
very old needs to be remodeled and updated, have stayed in Wyndums in the past.very surprised this hotel chain is not making them update
Tv was to small for rooms
Everything but the small tv
Old style dark rooms and understaffed
Location and 54 craft beers
The condition of the area surrounding the hotel was baracaded and under construction. If you are up in age and or have physical limitations (Walker, wheel chair...etc) the French Quarter is very hard to maneuver! It is blocks away from Square, river, Museums, and many tourist Resturants. Taxi cabs drivers are reluctant to take you a few blocks! Even being rude! We could not get a taxi to pick us up and return us to hotel (2 of our group had walkers). We waited hours after closing of museum and multiple calls to hotel and can companies..... Stopped a cab on street got the 2 of them back with a sizable before tip! We walked back because taxi was too small for everyone! Staff at hotel said it wasn't there problem to get taxi! Hmmmm.....
it was easy walking for me to get to many areas I wanted to be in and see but I'm an active 65 year old without health problems or handicaps. Quieter location than in the middle of the quarter. Right off of Canal Street for Mardi Gras Parades. Quick taxi ride to WWII museum. Can be walked if you map your route to daytime and busy streets for security! Superdome also not far! Streetcar to Garden district around corner! Hotel room king Deluxe had nice roomy area with separate sitting area. Bathroom and dressing area was separate which I believe to be ideal! The use of the Green rules are used here! I believe a note if anything extra works better than calling unless it's an immediate need! Seeking out housekeeping and thanking them when it's time to go or again a note! It up to you on tipping!
Confusion and delays at front desk, although the female on duty cheerfully saw it through
The sleep was great
Could hear elevators as beside them. Got used to it pretty quickly. Bathroom a little small but well arranged for size and plug and mirror in main room which worked for hairdryer.
We had a deluxe room and were very happy. Beds comfortable. Room clean. Water and coffee supplied daily. Room good size. Nice area in lobby to sit and wait for tours, etc Taxi arranged by staff and arrived promptly for departure.
Couldn't oblige your "Green" request about re-using towels, since no racks were provided and only 1 towel hook for a double room. What was the planner thinking?
That my friends were there with me.
the light in all places of the hotel needs improvement. The doors of the rooms are heavy to open. If the window can be open at least partially, it would be better.
The Asiatic receptionist, professional and pleasant at the same time.
Ron service was terrible 2 hours wait for breakfast then said breakfast was over they couldn't make it but still put it in my bill I had it removed but it took the manager to do it. Also I had to go downstairs to get bellhop on checkout nobody would answer the phone at bellhop station or front desk
Proximity to the French Quarter
I feel that the amount of money I paid to stay there, $120 for parking was a bit steep. Wish I would've known that ahead of time.
Pricey and by the time we were able to book the room police ticketed our car even though we fed two broken meters
Concierge was a bit pushy. Pool was closed. Not good with 2 kids:(
Staff was very nice. Close to many things to do (within walking distance). Felt safe
No sound proofing.
valet service was excellent
Called the hotel the day of the check in to make sure they has a pool as when I booked I didn't check to make sure my filter were correct. The woman said "yes! we have the only heated indoor pool in the area!" Checked in and found the pool while they had one was not in working order for our stay,
The location was very good. hotel butts right up to bourbon street. Bellhops were super friendly and helpful!
Elevators were slow and often packed, with a line of folks waiting. Request a low floor and walk up!
Right in the Quarter. Incredible staff, helpful.
Had to wait until after 4pm for checkin/room readiness
Great locationright in the middle of the French Quarter
Hotel staff was quite rude even making comments in front of us. The waiter at room service requested a tip before it was offered. The room service tray and left overs from breakfast were not removed when the room was cleaned, we put them outside when we got back in the evening and 2 days later that tray was still in the hallway. The elevators and the hallways are in dire needs of refurbishing.
The hotel is perfectly located in the french quarter with easy access to mostly everything. Room was comfortable and clean and the wi fi works perfectly
The elevators were incredibly slow. Also, I think my room was one that was recently renevated, which was great but I came back from a conference session to people in there evaluating the room. They were not dressed as staff and no one notified me that this would be happening. It made me feel uneasy about my belongings in the room and would have at least appreciated being told that this would be happening. Communication could have made it a lot less uncomfortable for me.
I decided to stay at this hotel while attending two separate conferences. This hotel was much cheaper and I was very pleased with the quality and cleanliness of the room.
Very noisy aircon, poor wifi
