Location to trolley and airport
Walls were thin and could hear quite a bit from other rooms.
The price was great.. Proximity to the convention center and airport helped
Not so quick response of staff re requests
No fridge in the room. Noisy room - ice machine was directly outside our door.
Paid the extra 20 dollars to upgrade to Bay view and cannot recommend this highly enough. The view is superb. The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in (and I travel a lot). Very comfortable if smallish room.
There is very little storage with the wardrobe in the bathroom and little floor space.
The location is fabulous
The two hour check-in was ridiculous. The girl doing it was completely inefficient. Then when we left there was no internet connection so we could get our boarding pass.
Closeness to the coastline
Bit expensive for what it was and compared to others we stayed in in California.
* Complimentary airport shuttle * Closeness to cruise terminal * Laundry facilities to do own washing. * Great views of harbour * Location great for what we wanted
* No fridge - apparently available for hire but found out too late - a fridge should be included in every room, not an extra!
The room had a great view. It was nicely put together. Enjoyed the location and the pool. Thought the parking was overpriced and a bit difficult.
The closet was inside the bathroom with no where to hang a towel, so you had to drop it on the floor. There was no fridge and so constant trips for ice. Asked for a corkscrew and it was unavailable and then someone found one in lost and found (think a hotel of this nature should have a corkscrew to loan). The concierge staff was busy selling time shares and so unless you were in the market for a time share they were of little help.
We walk to visit Midway 5 minutes. We went to Westfield Horton Plaza, Seaport Village & San Diego Airport by free shuttle. Staffs all are helpfully.
Nice hotel the only problem I had was we emailed them saying we wouldnt be getting to tje hotel until late at night and they emailed us back saying they had no record of our booking but when we got there we checked in no problem that was a bit strange.
Pretty good gym and pool and walking distance to Little Italy
They only have a "pop up" bar and there's not a lot around within 1-2 blocks. The staff on the front desk were flat out checking people in.
The hotels location to the cruise port
We had no hot water for our stay of 3 nights. Despite continuously complaining to staff and management, nothing was done to fix the problem.
The location is near the airport. Short drive to most of San Diego's attractions.
Parking is way overpriced.
Location Bed Housekeeping Bell hops Shuttle service
Front desk staff were the most incompetent I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I have checked in to a hotel with 30 people off a bus in 1/4 the time it took you. During my stay they either could not answer any of my questions or directed me incorrectly. Paper cups, plastic cups, writing paper 1/2 inch wide, no towel racks, no restaurant all for $200 a night!
The location was awesome, the views from our room was incredible. I loved sitting out on our balcony socializing with our friends who were in the room next took us.
I did not like the sales pitch to get us to attend one of their seminars. We did not have the time for it. Having to repeatedly say no was annoying.
EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE STAY WAS GREAT FOR ALL OF THE FAMILY AND WE'D GLADLY DO IT AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN!!!
THE LADY CHECKING US IN TOOK TWO HOURS TO DO ALL THE PAPERWORK EVEN THOUGH I HAD BOOKED THIS TRIP MONTHS AGO. SHE SEEMED UNABLE TO COMPREHEND EVERYTHING AND SHE GOT EVERYTHING BACKWARDS. THERE WAS 13 OF US IN THE FAMILY. I HAD BOOKED A ROOM WITH A VIEW FOR ALL OF US AND SHE SAID THAT THERE WAS NONE AVAILABLE (EVEN THOUGH MY WIFE AND I GOT A VIEW OF THE BAY). IT WAS A MESS!!! ON CHECKING OUT WE FOUND THE PRINTER IN THE LOBBY OUT OF ORDER EVEN WITH THE HELP OF TWO OF THE LOBBY STAFF. WE GOT OUR BOARDING PASSES AT THE AIRPORT.
Found it very comfortable! Lots of eating place to walk to! Great location to cruise terminal! Would stay again!
View of the San Diego Bay. Walking distance to cruise terminal. Free Wi Fi.
Hotel rooms were nice. Good Wifi connection.Excellent location..great views
No in room safe and no refridgerator...no on site restaurant at time of stay, but they were renovating it...Also was very noisy from construction down the street at night...
Close to many attractions. Clean rooms. Comfy beds.
No real breakfast facilities. Deli serves it, but if you want a real restaurant meal, there are none to be found at breakfast time unless you like having bar breakfasts or Deli breakfast. Rooms were very small with no refridgerator or microwave. We paid for a bay view room, but that was a mistake as the street noise was so loud it woke us up at night/early am with delivery trucks and such. Also, tower III faces due west so in the afternoon, the sun is so intense you cannot stand to be on the balcony enjoying it as there is no shade or relief from the intense sunlight.
Location. Great access to and from cruise ship. Beautiful view from 3rd tower room.
San Diego has this sewer smell, it seems to be all over the city. Very strong in the lobby on some days.
View of the Bay is amazing
Since our last visit, the restsurant has been closed. Breakfast is now served in a street side cafe. Not recommended! Self service & poor quality food. Wyndham need to reopen the onsite restaurant ASAP!
Location Comfort Efficient Staff View Cleanliness shuttle to Gaslamp and airport Good facilities
Expensive store Cost of parking
Check in were very accommodating and when we asked for a room on a high floor they placed us on the top floor with a great view of the city. Hotel has a great location, would stay again!
Parking isn't free; but there's barely anywhere in San Diego that is!
This hotel is centrally located to all the attractions and opposite the cruise terminal if you are boarding a cruise ship . Excellent value for money and location
