Very warm friendly staff. Let us park an extra few hours no charge on the day we were leaving the city. Small but clean and comfy rooms Mattresses could use an upgrade as could the old screen TVs. Made to order breakfasts would be worth the additional cost. Very few charging plugs in the room and at that only two pins. Only three pin was in the bathroom.

Yankee Peddler staff was very friendly and accommodating. Meg the desk clerk was very pleasant, professional and exceptionally nice. The room we were in was very clean and neat. The complimentary continental breakfast and afternoon cookies and beverages are a nice compliment. The cheese and crackers between 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M.were of exceptional quality. Considering that the Inn is old and does not have tight windows, the noise of the traffic on the main street is the only drawback of this location. At home we are on a very quiet street so we were sensitve to the noise, maybe more than others might be.

We stayed at Yankee Pedler Inn from 21st to 24th Oct and stayed in the carriagehouse. Absolutely love it and had a fabulous time. Would highly recommend. We were travelling with two friends who were staying a little further up the road and can I say - they were very envious of us. The Casey's Brisbane Australia Just a little noise from the road.

What a pleasant surprise! One can stay at a Holiday Inn or Marriott anytime but to stay at a lodging with such character is a treat. It let's your mind roam back to days gone by and, somehow, makes you feel a part of that history. We had no complaints.

Quaint and old with history, a change to the usual chain hotel Would have liked our room to have had the 4 poster bed. We had been informed of an Extra persons in room rate but wasn't told how much it would be until check in. thought $56 was a bit much added to the room rate already paid for the 1 nights stay.

I liked the afternoon tea and wine and cheese that was there on the weekend. It was also in a good location to walk to downtown. Didn't like the walk up to the third floor where my room was located when I had to take suitcases up and down.

The staff was enormously helpful in suggesting restaurants, helping us plan our next day, and in providing answers to any other questions we had. The hotel is located just above the waterfront area, an easy walk for us to food, shopping, and views of the waterfront. Hotel was attractively decorated for the fall season; our room was spacious and well-appointed, and the neighborhood was pleasant. Having parking available was definitely a plus.

The private and quiet bed and breakfast was very comfortable. The centralized location on a quiet side street afforded a great night's sleep in an incredibly comfortable bed! Great seaport town with lots to do! No hairdryer in the room and had to go to front desk to borrow one! A minor probelm that was easily solved!

It was close to all the sights we wanted to see. The breakfast was a nice plus, as well as the cookies and coffee in the afternoon. Staff was helpful and very kind. We had the two bedroom suite and it was perfect for two women travelling together, yet not wanting to share the same bed.

It was walking distance to the downtown area/wharf. We stayed in the carriage house and the vase of sunflowers that was the "decoration" sitting on a small table when first entering the door of the carriage house where our room was, was ugly! Most of the flowers were dead and drooping, the water was filthy and murky and there were tiny "fruit" flys buzzing around it. It left a horrible first impression of what looked like a run down, poor quality Inn. There was also a vacuum that was kept in the small entrance area making the whole experience a second and third rate operation. Very inhospitable and poor quality/care for the pricy room. I expected much better for $150 a night.

The hotel is in an old typical New England house. Very close to the center of the town. Our room was very big. There is a free parking. The house is old therefore the floor is quite noisy when other people is walking. There is no elevator.

Great welcoming at the front desk. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast and wine and crackers wear a great plus. The large terrasse and porch were very nice spots to unwind and relax. Overall all the staff was pretty friendly Room was not read when we showed up at 3h20 after 8 hours drive and we got it closer to 4 (check in was supposed to be at 3h. Was a bit expansive
