Great owners & staff Spacious, clean & comfortable rooms
Genuine family run business, beautifully appointed, great views, fantastic home cooked breakfast and excellent interest and advise on things to see and do in the area. Our upgrade to the suite was a wonderful surprise. Thanks Greg!
Gorgeous view from patio. 5 miles out of town. Quiet, spacious rooms. Staff helpful and attentive.
The food was great and the staff had very good tips about what to do in Yellwstone and in the area.
The breakfast is poor and
- Good hike recommendations from the owner - Comfortable room - Tasty breakfast
This lodge is just outside of the north side of Gardner; just 5 minutes from north entrance of Yellowstone. Sets facing the mountains with rich red colors. Staff is fabulous; super clean and very well kept. The owners are excellent hosts and will provide you a wealth of knowledge- thanks Greg. We travel extensively and can not say enough how excellent this lodge is.
Great breakfast food, comfortable rooms, wonderful advice from the staff (especially Greg and Eve), gorgeous backdrop of the mountains.
We had a handicap room which we did not know we were getting To many rules
Location was good relative to yellowstone NP. Breakfast was excellent. Setting nice
The owners were very nice and always available to answer questions or make suggestions for the area. The breakfast was very good and healthy. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay!!
This hotel does need to get a drinks licence, as it is remote
The landlord was very friendly and dedicated time to sit with us and plan our the daily site seeing schedule
Personal attention from owner/operator was outstanding.
Cobwebs; bathtub was not clean; insufficient shampoo, conditioner for 5 people to spend 2 days; trendy breakfasts for young children didn't work.
SPACIOUSNESS; FLOORPLAN; LOCATION
Greg was an outstanding host. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend staying here.
-Would like to have option at breakfast for more traditional fare (ie: eggs made to order) in addition fancy items of the day. -Our room had a room above us. People up there walked around A LOT early in the morning. Suggest more carpet padding/insulation up there!
-The owners and staff were friendly and helpful with travel tips. -Beautiful view from breakfast room with neat telescope for looking at wildlife. -Room was very clean and beds were comfy.
Way overpriced for the services offered. Breakfast. Served 'til 9.00, but we arrived at 8.30 to find absolutely no hot food and empty spaces where some of the other food should have been. The food had (presumably) been consumed by earlier guests and the hotel had no "plan B" for such circumstances. Extremely bad management and, after a heated argument with the management I received a paltry $50 refund. The breakfast - when it was available was supposedly "organic" but was, in fact, just "strange", not to say "inedible". If breakfast is important to you, DO NOT STAY HERE. Packed lunches were offered. These were convenient but grossly over-priced. Terrible hotel management. Overall - Would I stay there again? Absolutely NOT. Would I recommend a friend to stay there? Only if they were not interested in breakfast.
Location close to Yellowstone NP. Helpful owner (Greg) giving tips of where to visit in the park. Beautiful scenery. Close to Gardiner and the Pizza house opposite the park entrance!!
Greg and his staff helped us plan some great days. their suggestions made for a memorable experience.
Our visit was too short!
Peaceful setting with excellent views from multiple windows. Gregg very helpful in identifying highlights of Yellowstone National Park we would not want to miss given our short stay. Breakfast and optional lunches were more than expected!
Greg is very knowledgeable on yellowstone park and will help in planning days in the park to get the most from your visit. Excellent views from the inn including wildlife. Good breakfasts. Probably the best place to stay in Gardiner.
Very comfortable! Owners Greg and Sabina are awesome! Very helpful and knowledgable about the surrounding areas .
No Refrigerator, No mircowave, Entry to Hotel was rocks and gravel. And no ice maker.
Manager and Owner was very nice and very helpful. He give us good advice on place to eat and where to go to see animals to photograph.
