눉Room was filthy; upgraded to another room, it was just as dirty. Stains,
hair, crud on doors, light switches, bed, linens, couch, floors and weird
red stuff on shower wall. Nasty black stuff on entry wall to room. Tv
console was disgusting, other furniture in rooms were banged up and
falling apart. Elevator was filthy, hallways and room hot. Rooms on a
"sensor" so when you left the room the air turned off and you
would return to a musty hot room. Staff were minimally assistive, and
only female evening staff seemed to care about customer service. In
fact, one staff member began to argue with me when told the
accommodations were not satisfactory and that we wanted to leave early!
Breakfast was ok, typical but afraid to eat it because of rest of the
dirty place. Evening cookies were burnt and "nacho bar"
consisting of chips, cheese in a dried up dirty looking container,
peppers and left over looking warm salsa was a mess. Left a message for
the Gen. Mgr, who is also the owner, Mr Bhakta, and didn't receive a
return call until after 4 days, and 3 other additional attempts to let
him know about our horrible experience and the deplorable conditions of
his hotel. After waiting, I told the staff the owner needed to call me
back or I would have to call Corporate Best Western. He called back
within 10 mins of this, but I felt that he was rude and condescending.
He admitted to me that they do a deep cleaning only bi-annually and
eventually agreed to give me back half of what I paid for the room. When
I asked the exact total that would be credited back to me, he took the
amt of the "complimentary upgrade" (which I didn't ask
for, only requested the 2nd room to be clean, and was not) off of the
total half! Will never stay at this hotel.
눇Nothing, it was filthy beyond just needing routine maintenance and
everyday expected wear and tear.
