Hotel Zaza Houston  

Look and feel of the hotel was great. My room and bathroom was a bit on the small side but it was fine.

The hotel was awesome!

Would have rather had 2 queen size beds. The beds were a little small to share. HATED the Monarch restaurant. Very bad experience there and will not be returning. Room service food was cold :(

The manager attitude

The room servers (food),, was horrible, terrible, weird & unbelievable!! The worst ever! My friend had his surgery & he was about to book in mariot and I told him to book in zaza..(by your worst service I was so embarrassed all that night! We ordered mash potato, it was mash salt! It was his meal coz he needed to eat light &soft things but could not eat it.. I told them,, then at night I had guests visiting the patient..we ordered many things.. Some the orderes were (grilled chicken with the rice as it appears in the menu and salad which was on of the guests meal, and grilled salmon) the chicken came with out rise, the salmon was fried and no salad! (((We talked to them))).. Return the orders and asked other friend to bring food from out side,,, notice.. This is the second time we talked to them .. just right after.. We ordered a drink when its arrived.. It was something different!!! I felt they did these things to me in purpose.. I was sooooo embarrassed.. Yes I went to the manager and she apologised and gave my 100$ card and took out my food bolls.. But no matter how she said sorry it would not help.. this way u lost the money of the food which suppose to be a part of ur business.. and u lost a customer.. not only me.. all the gustes who where visiting us.... during our dinner that night,, the whole subjet became about hotels and they were talking about the good service here and there and I was embarrassed coz I was the one who suggested zaza ! whatever...

We thought the decor was amazing and loved our room as well as the upgrade we received

My husband is allergic to dust and we found that with all the elaborate decorations in the Casablanca Suite that it was very dusty in the room.

The little extras such as the butlers pantry which was great for our early morning cuppa, the use of an iron and ironing board and lovely toiletries.

Although the room was comfortable and well equipped the maid only made up the bed and wiped down the bathroom. She didn't clean. Tops weren't wiped down and the carpet wasn't hoovered. The bathroom needs towel rails.

A fantastic downtown location. This is an older hotel with tons of charm. It's been totally revamped inside and out and they have retained all the architectural details while adding an artistic, art deco decor. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. Enter the hotel, relax and forget you are in the heart of the city. A great spot where you will want to return.

The Hotel & bedroom were fabulous. The pool area, drinks & food were also wonderful. Staff very hospitable & a very kind welcome birthday gift was sent to our room.

Room and bathroom were lovely. Room service is not extortionate, as it is in some luxury hotels. Love the Mike and Ike's as the turn down favor on the bed.

One of my windows was covered in plastic so had to keep the shades down the whole time.

I liked the design and romantic decor, I thought it was a sexy hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at the Hotell Zaza in Dallas and thought the rooms were much nicer and more unique. You can definitely tell by the ceiling height and smell that it was an older property that had been renovated.

Great location. The 700 metro line goes straight to downtown for $1.25 in 10mins Great rooms. Large comfortable and classy

Nous avons aimé l'emplacement en ville,avec nombreux endroits pour dîner nous avons apprécié la piscine

Nous n'avons pas aimé le service à l'accueil,en effet ,nous avions réservé depuis longtemps une chambre avec une jolie vue,c'était marqué sur le bon de réservation,et on s'est moqué de nous en nous attribuant une chambre avec vue sue les climatiseurs!

Amazing staff, lovey pool area, and everyone I met.

Spa service was not at the level I excepted.

Helpful staff. It would be an excellent location for anyone going to the medical centre (or Rice University)

Not such a good location for business travelllers for downtown or the Galleria.

I had a spacious room with lots of light. Room service policy (20% gratuity & service) was reasonable and under- standable. Vicinity shuttle shutter is a real benefit.

Needed extra blanket in the room. Did not understand for 36 hours that the aircon also provided heat. Needs more light in lobby which is sort of jumbled up...and overrun with people in late afternoon cocktails...,,making it hard to check in.
