The view is stunning!
The walls in the hallway!
Free bus Location Wifi Views Really friendly staff Food Clean- rooms cleaned every day
The views from rooms are stunning.
Fantastic view, great service and lovely people that work there! Exploring Manhattan with bicycle was amazing.
Friendly staff Beautiful views of Manhattan 3 Subway stations within 10 minutes walk Located in quiet, nonthreatening area
A little noisy due to air-con unit being open to street (located in quiet area so only minor con)
The views of Manhattan were spectacular. The shower was a power shower. The shuttle bus was handy if you didn't fancy the 5 / 10 minute walk to the subway. Bed sheets and towels changed daily. TV in the room with several channels, free WI-FI. Staff were helpful and always around.
Only minor thing was that the shuttle bus only seats 14 people so can fill quite quickly at peak times.
Views, free WiFi, free shuttle to/from Manhattan, free international phone calls. The staff.
First class freindly staff ,great views and a party on the roof till 4am
- phantastic view on Manhatten - Bus Shuttle Service to Manhatten - Friendly hotel staff - Short Access to Subway
- Hotel more suitable for Young (Party oriented) People - hotel located in an industrial Zone - facility management and cleanness Needs some improvement
Staff very helpful and kind Room clean and comfortable Amazing view of Manhattan Cheaper than Manhattan and not that far to travel into the city Top time on the roof till 4am Option to take the shuttle bus Free map of Manhattan
Limited restaurant facility - under renovation - poor look and feel of downstairs
The personal (everybody) is very kind and helpful. Thanks to Maria in restaurant for her kindeness and to Dulce at reception for helping us the last day, but as said, everyone there is really great! Shuttle bus is great plus for sure and compensate gretly the location out of Manhattan. If you miss the shuttle time, the underground station is just about 5-10 min walking distance from the hotel, depending on your pace. Rooms are tidy and definitely no bed bugs at all. Hotel definitely to be recommended. View out of the room is just amazing!
As there is a bar open on the roof on Friday night, the music can be heard even 3 levels down, where we were staying. So better to be prepared for this. But since we stayed there from Sunday to Saturday, given the fact that this was only one time disruption, we could handle it. Breakfast buffet is quite small choice, but essentials are there. No choice at all of non alcoholic coctails during the week. Actually there is none. Thanks for the barlady to mix what she could find for us. Greatly appreciated!
-free hourly transfer to Lexington Ave in only 20 mins -great location with 360º unobstructed views from rooftop -Subway only 5-10 mins round the corner (Court Square) Penn Station only 20 min metro ride -free international calls -free Wifi -view from room and from fabulous rooftop terrace was amazing -rooftop terrace well eqipped with garden furniture and sun loungers - accessable day and night
-breakfast was good but room for improvement -aircon very efficient but also noisy
Excellent accomodation in close proximity to Queensborough Bridge. Hourly shuttle to Lexington and 60th until late at night offers the opportunity to schedule any exploring trips to Manhattan. The shuttle drops passengers off right at the underground station. The staff is courteous, multilingual, informed and ready to help. Buffet breakfast is above average while the rooftop bar stays open until late offering a great night view to Manhattan's skyline. Highly recommended to anyone willing to explore the City. Hotel Z is "one nice secret". Will return.
best hotel in New york
Just a little bit noisy on Saturday night because of the bar on roof
The view is fantastic both from room and from roof. The shuttle bus is really useful. Didn't even try to use subway. The staff were great. The room was clean and well thought through. Lovely shower. We took burgers from restaurant up to eat on roof terrace to enjoy sunset and all the lights of Manhattan coming on. Roof bar was open.
The area around the hotel is a bit industrial which might be thought of as dangerous to walk around late at night on your own but probably ok. The AC unit in the room was a bit noisy but necessary when the sun shines in through the big windows. The AC controls could be better explained.
- Liked the shuttle to the city. Really friendly staff, specially the blond girl! She always knew what we wanted to ask. - The bar on top was great. - Nice of them to give us a taxi refund when the shuttle was full.
My luggage was still at the airport. I asked to call me right away when it was deliverd but they didn't call me.
shuttle to manhattan , friendly employees, great view of manhattan
there was a construction going , and third class rooftop no breakfast.
Great place, great staff. Te hotel has the best view ever and the staff is very friendly and very experienced people. Great place to spend at least a weekend...:)
The restaurant was the only thing we didn't like. The menu was very poor, even the little things that were in the menu were missing in the kitchen. For the restaurant I would give 3 out of 10
Location, view, design, accomodations, amenities, roof top bar, staff
Poor Wi-Fi connection, room wasn't cold enough, no off-street parking available on site
Location (I was headed to the US Open and it was perfectly located) View of Manhattan was beautiful Staff was super friendly and helpful Rates were reasonable Dinner prices were less than expected
Nothing really Rooftop bar was a little cheesy, but we didn't come for that -- the downstairs restaurant/bar was just fine Food took a long time to come out but once there was very good
Comfortable room. Helpful staff. Good food.
Extremely noisy air conditioning!! Rooftop bar serves only a selected number of drinks and in plastic cups.
Shuttle service/friendly staff / nice view of Manhattan / robe and slippers were available / comfortable stay..
Expected to find a microwave in the room .
Love the view may I suggest that you should have tables set upstairs and serve lunch it's a great view or have a barbecue grill and just have barbecue food until 6pm then set up for the club
Did not like that as a guest of the hotel I had to stand at the bar on Friday night I was told it's only for bottle tables and had to buy a bottle or stand at the bar and every place that you can sit was a bottle table also was missed informed on what time the bar opens upstairs was told 730pm and find out it opens at 9pm so I had to go up and down to the Lobby bar until it opened .
