Location. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was big and comfortable.
The hand shower doesn't work. No complimentary bottled water in room. Although this was mitigated by the fact that lemon water was available 24h at the reception area.
Modern well, laid out, funky and fun! Smart TV, good size bathroom very pleasant staff
Ridiculous prices at the bar for a glass of house wine!
The staff, the room, the location, the game room and the art.
Zoe, the bartender, was fabulous!
Great location. Surprisingly quiet.
i liked mainly the staff, very professional and helpful , and always smiling , and can be of great assistance for someone who is visiting san francisco for the first time. the hotel is nice and trendy
the hotel lacks the ambience vibes that needs to be created there . the lobby bar can not open so late in the afternoon. had it beed located else where it can open that late.
Fantastic for walking to shops, bars and restaurants. Brilliant staff and very nicely decorated.
Valaet costs are very high, but a car park very close by, ask the door man for directions.
Very relaxing and a lot of fun!
Location next to The Westfield Center.
Poor quality furnishings ikea student dorm, basic.Very slow service won't be back.
Location and eclectic look
Hip eclectic look is obtained through the use of a lot of cheap furniture, especially in the rooms. The closet was old, the small dresser had falling drawers, another one was smelly of cheap paint. Also way too much money to have a window looking at a wall.
Very nice design Hotel, excellent staff and service
Bar Closes very early unfortunately... Rooms facing 5th street are loud if you open the Windows. Valet parking is extremely expensive!!! ($60.,-/day!!!) There is a public parking lot in Mission Street, right around the Corner which is only $20.-/ day flat
The location was great, and the hotel was very nicely decorated with lots of interesting artwork. They offer a full bar, and the second floor serves as a 'playroom' with billiards and video games. The room size was comfortable, the bathrooms were a good size, and we were right down the hall from the hotel gym (which was free to use). The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were especially thankful that they allowed us to check in several hours early.
The view left something to be desired (we were overlooking an alley). I would recommend requesting a nicer view when booking.
Location, Location and Location; cool design and really confortable. Great!
The homless situation, although not a hotel problem, but the city itself ...
staff was very helpful to people who never were in sf before
had to go home---vacation over
Design Staff Convenience
The staff support was great at reception. The game room and overall design. The bed was great. Location was perfect.
The room of my colleague was only ready around 5pm and we were on a world trip tour so this was inconvenient as we were tired. The first day, my room was not cleaned up, only after it was requested at reception. I was on the 11th floor and the smell on that floor (including the room) was like an old gymnasium ... maybe because it is on the floor of the gym. So for the price we paid, this was very disappointing.
Fantastic location, really lovely hotel. Room was spacious and quiet with a good bathroom and comfortable bed. Cocktail bar seriously good and very helpful staff.
A bit like Ace Hotel with less attitude and more fun. Really nicely designed spaces and rooms, professional pleasant staff, relatively quiet despite being in one of the noisiest areas, close to all the action, well stocked bar.
Could have better lighting in the rooms.
Largish room nice size bathroom Tall table/desk Comfortable bed Quiet Enthusiastic adorable staff
No view but they can't help that.
