Needs modernizing Dark Rooms
Very complete and comfortable room, clean and good condition. No breakfast but you have a microwave and fridge in room.
Could have breakfast included.
location, value, comfort, bed, kitchen
noisy parking lot
No tea making facility only for coffee
Walking distance to the best restaurants and shops. Motel diner had great food.
Rack rate was pretty expensive for this very basic motel. Luckily we booked well in advance at 45% off. Diner prices were quite high but few options existed this close to the park entrance.
old design, good bed. Great location, good restaurants around.
Very Very unhelpfull and cold staff.
wifi kept cutting in and out
Nice kitchenette with coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and prep counter. Good table for eating or games. Plenty of room. Nice and quiet; couldn't hear street or other rooms. Large hot tub (8). Great location.
Mattress too soft. All rooms have windows that look into parking lot; beautiful Zion view is mostly blocked. Walkway to access rooms goes right by window, so for privacy you have to shut blinds. Coffee maker didn't work.
Great location at the South entrance to Zion National Park and about 5 minutes walk from the free Springdale town shuttle bus to take you straight into the park. Lovely spacious room, very clean with lots of storage space for clothing and generous sized kitchen. Would recommend for anyone spending a few days in the national park.
Their own restaurant was not open in the evenings but this was not an issue as we dined at Wicked Willies over the road which was brilliant.
Good location, very near Zion Nat Park. Comfortable beds, spacious room, refrigerator, good shower, very clean. Everything we needed.
Maybe a little old, but not a problem.
We like the appearance of the room and the beds are comfortable.
the noise from upstairs. We were waken by the noise from the room above us at 6:00 am.
Proximity to Zion Park and the shuttle.
The style of decoration.
The location and the motel's spa & pool were great. Barbecue facilities were very handy.
Very Narrow Parking, Restaurant not open for dinner
The location was great, right in the middle of Springdale.
Considering how much I paid for one room for a single night, I would have at least expected some kind of continental breakfast and sheets without cigarette burns in them (it was a non-smoking room btw).
clean, comfortable bed authentic feel to room, friendly place, used pool, hot tub and laundry. Not fancy but I would stay there again.
confort facilties ( BBQ, ...) nice view from the swimming pool
small registration office water quality of the swimming pool
ZION is obviously the main attraction. the lodge provided all the services we hoped for and was very conveniently located. The pool, though small, was good fun. The attached restaurant provided good food and service.
The wifi in the room was non-existent.
Great location and views Olde worlde motel
Sink was shared bathroom/kitchen Storage of beds etc outside the door of our room
Clean rooms and comfy beds! Second stay at Pioneer Lodge!
We stayed in a room with 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a living room. The accommodations were perfect for our family. The pool was cold, which was perfect after a long day of hiking. The Lodge was central to the rest of the town. I would stay at the La Quinta next door in the future.
Parking is horrible. The parking spaces are too small. Our car got hit while we were there. Recommend backing in. The staff was unfriendly. Yup, just unfriendly. The theme is cheesy but fits the Western culture of the town.
good localization, not far from Zion Park
restaurant is awful, food is bad, untasty, they should change the cook. there was also some strange smell in room. dont take rooms on first floor, you will hear every step people on the second floor.
We came to access Zion Canyon but hadn't expected either the hotel or Springdale to be as lovely as they were. We really enjoyed our time here and wish it had been for more than one night to real explore properly.
The shop selling wine was quite a walk away and then no corkscrew in the kitchen. But the reception staff quickly sorted us out. After hiking all day we felt we deserved that glass of wine
Rustic buildings in lovely setting. Wooden benches outside room. We had a problem, but this was sorted without any fuss.
Dim lighting. Ashtray outside had not been emptied.
