The fact that the staff was both friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas.
- Nice breakfast
- Rest rooms + showers are a little walk outside of the cabin - not as close to Zion as we imagined - No WIFI - The pool looks like it had better days - The restorant is expensive + food is not bad but not good + very slow service
You have do many options.... Tent, RV, basic cabin, luxury cabin... With pool, spa, activities, food, and more. Can't wait to come back with our grandchildren.
The modern "rusticity" was a bit of a challenge but fun overall for this mature couple, who slept well on the lower part of a comfy, queen-size bunk bed. Ours was a cabin w/ shared bathroom (read: walking to a modern, sizable bathhouse/toilets). There's a variety of private shower/bath facilities. The ranch-like setting & atmosphere, the breakfast, the service & attitude were all above average. The price and proximity to Zion N.P. attracted us.
The location is on Twin Knolls Rd. Orderville, UT. The Zion Visitor Center, where you may wish to park (good luck) and get the shuttle, is on the opposite side of the N.P. in pricey Springdale (pop. 500), approx. 22mi/48min from Cabins. Breakfast on-site begins at 8, a little late for some early risers/departers.
Beautiful location!! Great, comfortable little cabins. Wonderful bathrooms and showers... I loved everything about this place. We will be back!!
Proximity to Zion is excellent. The drive to the east gate everyday is beautiful!
The breakfast is rubbish. The evening meals are terrible. Wi-Fi is only available at the reception, food hall or pool and shower rooms. The shower in the cabin is weak. The adventure activities are ridiculously expensive. Not worth the high price tag. I was forced to book this as there was no other alternative at the time. Very disappointed.
Views, night sky
The staff was friendly and courteous from the reception to the complete service. The cabin was small but warm and comfortable. The amenities and activities were wonderful. Definitely an A plus.
The linen in the cabin a little old and they run out of coffee during my stay. Other than that every thing was great
excellent breakfast and other meals available. cowboy cabin was perfect. good stargazing. Manager was very helpful in guiding us where to explore
hot tub not ready or available both nights.
The reception staff were friendly The cowboy cabin was clean and neat Wifi was excellent
The dining experience was very poor The place smelt funny
The setting and view were great. There was a pleasant natural, out-doorsey ambience. The continental breakfast was above average. Kids will enjoy this place.
The term "shared bathroom" is vague for travelers not used to such. For example, does it mean one toilet shared with another couple or 5 toilets shared with 100 ?
The individual cabins were nice and roomy.
Old worn out furniture and towels, no place to set things in the bathroom since there is no shelf or counter. The food was terrible and the food/activities were seriously over-priced -- $19 for a plate of spaghetti, and $11 pp for mini-golf??
Everything except WIFI would have liked to stay longer, log cabin very romantic, would love to own one. restaurant food very good reasonably priced, included breakfast staff top notch. Had hoped to find a bear asleep on the porch in the morning but alas no. From a romantic, Cheers
WIFI didn't work in cabin had to go to the lobby for reception
No tea supplied for breakfast. The food was appalling - even burgers. Staff overworked, very pleasant but completely inefficient. Who is in charge of this Ranch. Needs to be put in order by someone.
Middle of the mountains gave a real getaway feeling. No cell service and spotty wifi helped as well. Amazing views from cabin. Only hour drive to get down mountain and through zion to visitor center
Never stayed at a resort that charged for ice. Pool looked like it was being worked on. Restaurant was always a 45 min wait for anything ordered.
Enjoyed our stay at this resort. Friendly staff, EXCELLANT facilities and beautiful surroundings!
Location On a large private ranch ground next to National park, Fire pits for Guest use, Marking of The Cowboy Cabins , Optional Kids activities, Great stuff ans General manager Michael
- wooden cabin, fully furnished - view from the cabin, setting of the ranch - swimming-pool - restaurant and staff
- all extra activities were quite pricey - bunk bed moved and was noisy (but there was a splendid sofa bed in the living room, so not really a problem)
Location and proximity to Zion NP while still being remote feeling.
Dust from the road when people drove too fast by our cabin.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, the pool is really nice and the variety of activities available
A little isolated but equidistant to the parking for Bryce and Zion parks - about an hour for each. The drive to Zion is awesome!
Good nights sleep.
We did not have the stuff needed to cook dinner, no matches, no BBQ utensils to cook on the fire pit and no where to get them
Cabins were cozy and comfortable
Wifi in cabins was weak to non existant
Nice Cowboy house Quiet and in the middle of nowhere
Shared showers & toilets very dirty after 8 PM A bit far from Zion, mountain road is a bit long to get there.
Overall it was okay but not good enough for a return stay
Food was overpriced for the quality. The food was disappointing to all of us.
Staff is so super helpful! I booked through booking.com a suite cabin, but they never received the booking, so they gave us a night for free in one of their wagons, which was an amazing experience. For the 2nd night they organised a suite cabin for us. The hot tub was really nice too. It's very clean and has got a lot of offers things to do. I would def stay there again.
The breakfast was ok, but not great.
