The owner Olga was exceptional. She was very warm, pleasant and welcoming individual. The grounds were very well kept and such beautiful scenery. The sleeping quarters were very well kept and exceptionally clean. The multiple sitting areas including a screened in porch, were fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous!! Plenty of parking. A great assorted breakfast. I will definitely return. Oh, and there's a winery across from the B&B with 50% off if you state you're at the winery. Simply Amazing stay!!

We were only there for one night so it was fine, especially at the rate on Booking.com. If I had paid the full price from the B&B's website I would have been very upset. I don't think they should call it a B&B since there isn't really a breakfast other than a few bananas, packets of oatmeal, and some bread in the fridge that you can toast and add jam to. You will be sharing a bathroom down the hall from your room with other guests if the house isn't empty. We were lucky and there didn't seem to be anyone else on our floor so we didn't have to share, but I was quite surprised to find that our bathroom was down the hall from the room when we checked in. The house and bathroom were kept clean. The room was huge although not really necessary since it was just for sleeping and had no seating area, just two beds and a dresser. The TV was a Roku TV so the only way we could use it was by logging into some of the streaming services we have. But if you don't have any or don't know the passwords you won't be able to watch anything unless there was an option for cable or satelite that we didn't see.

A lovely old town in the Virginia countryside, with beautiful views, interesting old buildings and homes, excellent restaurants and near many wineries. We had a wonderful fall afternoon listening to live music at Doukenie winery, and a superb birthday dinner at Magnolias at the Mill.
