Breakfast buffet was maybe a little bit lagging. it consisted of 1 type of cereal, bread and butter, coffee and orange juice and some cake.
the hotel had plenty of character about it. Rooms were run down but comfortable and clean. The staff were amazing- the language barrier did us no harm because the staff at reception went above an beyond to help us out and were so kind about it. We can't thank them enough :)
Asked for a double bed on the request through booking.com, but ended up with two single beds that were not big enough to stretch out in. So special requests were ignored.
A short taxi ride from the bus station and in the centre of Salto, which is the border town for getting across to Argentina. Stayed just one night and perhaps would not have stayed another. Breakfast was Ok and the room had the facilities we needed after a long bus trip from Montevideo. The staff on reception when we arrived were not very helpful, but the staff on the following day were very good in looking after our luggage and calling a taxi to take us to the bus station.
