Space a bit cramped

Excellent little and comfortable hotel in an upscale location of Montevideo, right next to the beach! The hotel is brand new just opened last September. Staff very friendly and helpful! Breakfast is excellent too. The bus station is very close if you want to get to centro but taxis are so cheap you really don't care! Excellent value for money, I recommend it 100%!

The hotel is new and clean. Uruquay is expensive but the this hotel not, it is really worth of the price. The stuff is very helpful and nice. Only a few steps to the beach.

The elevators are occupied in the mornings since the housekeepers use them.

This hotel is a little gem in the middle of Pocitos. Almost opposite to Gomensoro square, it has all the amenities for the traveler to feel comfortable. With very good value for money, this new hotel has 28 rooms and very qualified personnel, who provides a very good, warm and friendly service. Everybody, from the front-desk guys, maids and the ladies at the breakfast room, makes passengers enjoy their stay at all times, by giving advice and tips about Montevideo. While I understand that there are different types of rooms (some rooms bigger than others), the room in which I stayed (a superior room on the 9th floor) had everything I needed: air-con, alarm clock, safe, telephone, cable TV, wifi, and very nice bathroom (although I admit that some shower enclosures can be small for some large people). Depending on the floor, you may also have some excellent views of Pocitos. The hotel also has umbrellas, towels and beach chairs to rent per day for those who wish to go to the near beach. I have read that some people have complained about the breakfast. However, from my point of view, the breakfast is good, and gives the traveler everything to start the day satisfied: fruit salad, cheese, ham, coffee, tea, biscuits, pastries, etc.. In conclusion, the place is absolutely recommendable and of course I would stay at this hotel again if I go to Montevideo.

Perhaps the less positive aspect is the "compact space" in the breakfast room, but there is a narrow balcony that provides more room for chairs and more tables. Some people also consider that the size of the individual rooms could be a problem. I understand, but I do not agree. After all, nobody spends their holidays inside of the hotel. We want a good, clean and safe place to return at the end of the day, after our short trips.

Room's were a little on the small side. Also staff insisted on disturbing me to fix A/C.

Air conditioning system was having problems.

The staff was very nice and helped out with everything u needed. The location is right next to the beach and u can take the bus to go into centrum. The rooms where nice and clean and the bathroom where very nice. In a nice secure and quiet location.

U could here the other rooms around u when they had their tv on. And no aircondition. They had a portable one standing in a corner but that was loud and noisy so u couldnt have that on at night.

Convenient price and good location.

Rooms were not clean, for example: the bed cover had spots which some were realy disgusting. Bathroom was smelly, not clean at all and had fungus on the shower floor and walls. There was a problem with Air Conditioning. On one room it was too hot and then when they moved us to another room it was realy chilli. We couldn't have a nice sleep night of the 5 we stayed.... realy unacceptable,

Hotel horrible staff sin experiencia, no recomiendo

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent location ... it's in Pocitos, 1 1/2 blocks away from the famous Pocitos Beach. The Palm Beach Plaza is in easy walking distance to some of Montevideo's best eateries. The hotel is brand new, very well designed and furnished in good taste. It's a small, neighbourhood hotel that makes you feel at home.

Rooms were new and quite nice. Excellent location. Would definately stay in the Palm Beach again.

Air condition came on and it was not possible to turn off. We were told to ask the reception to do turn it off. More personal service, info regarding where breakfast is, air condition etc. would have been nice. Not too much choice for Breakfast.

Ideally located not far from City Centre, beach of Positos and Airport road. A good value for money hotel. Also many restaurants near by. Very nice staff and multi lingual.

wall thickness: the bedroom next to mine had people very in love during the night...! No room service for food. Elevator was out of service during one afternoon...which is not that dramatic, but the hotel has 11 floors, and only one elevator...so when it's down...!

Location.

The air condition is a big problem. Don't have remote control to manage the temperature inside the room. You need to call the recepcionist always you want to change. Horrible this system!

The Palm Beach is a great surprise in Pocitos, one of the most vibrant and beautiful neighborhoods in Montevideo. The location was perfect- just 100m from the beach and there are lots of cute little restaurants to discover. A minute from the Rambla, but within easy access to the city centre (bus stop outside the hotel and taxi rides are very reasonable). The hotel is brand new and has an excellent cost-benefit ratio: the apartments are modern, very clean and spacious, with a couch and a good wardrobe. The bathrooms are clean and funcional, with very good shower. The internet was free and worked pretty well. Breakfast was ok, served till 11am. The price was right and the staff was helpful. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is small and a little way from the main tourism spots (but for me location is spectacular). Staff could be more friendly. There weren't warm breakfast foods, just cereal, bread, croissants and a few variety of fruits. The shower area is quite small.
