Good,
Score from 463 reviews
“ It is a really cozy hotel and very well localised in a very nice neighbourhood. It's just 15 min away driving from the city centre, and a few meter from the Rambla (shore). It's also really close to one of the trendiest night clubs in Punta del Este. Refurbished rooms with a/c and LCD tv. ”

The price was great and so was the room. It even had doors that opened up to the patio with the pool. The location was quite far from the town center, the internet only worked in the lobby, but there was a hotel computer to use. The shower was quite small.

Considering we booked late during peak time, this was the only decent hotel left in the entire area including jose ignacio. Its at the north end of Punta (thank god we didn't stay in town not worth it). It is right across from a beach and nicely located right next to a taxi hut and major bus line that goes up into la barra and jose ignacio. They do not speak any english and at first came off very unfriendly until my friend who speaks a bit of Spanish was able to communicate which then they warmed up a bit. The rooms are nothing spectacular but clean and workable with remodeled bathrooms. Service at first was unfriendly. Do not expect any frills at this hotel. Rooms are small. Breakfast is extra and not spectacular. Stay in La Barra or Jose if you can.

Nothing at all. I have travelled with my family around the world and I was never treated as badly by a Hotel staff as I was by the Manager of this place Mr Jorge. He has no idea of what a customer centric organization means and/or of how his attitude impact the reputation and brand of the place . Please do not ask for an additional bed, they charge you U$S60/night for a rolling bed that occupies one third of the total room. They need to take out of the room a couple of furnitures in order to fit into. Do not dare to make a local call, because you will be charged U$S1/minute. Breakfast is too expensive(10U$S/day) for a 3 star Hotel that should be in fact 1 or 2 stars If you plan to use internet, it is only availbale at the reception. Temperature in this place goes from 30-40 C, since no air conditioning is available

The closeness to the beach We had the impression the staff knew the hotel would be distroyed and that they had a job for only 3 months. Nobody smiled, nobody asked if we were fine. We slipped on the free plastic covering the shower floor. Breakfast was awful. And the smell of humidity was just unbelievable. For the same price we get a 4 star hotel in Paris or Madrid.

If you have transport it's a good location outside the hustle and bustle of the main resort . Safe location in a residential area. Good Internet availability. Good value

The only thing we liked was the maid service in our room. There are many things to list, so here are a few: a) very, very impolite and unfriendly front desk staff b) Wifi only works very close to front desk area and even there we had some connection problems c) they have a large flat screen TV in the room, however we don't want to watch snow all the time, we could have stayed in Canada for that. The only thing we wanted to watch were the news. We asked at least 4 times if someone could attend to the problem. Hopeless, one guy at the front desk even waived us off - like " don't bug me with your TV problem" d) the pool was dirty and we did get some "looks" when we asked for a sun umbrella. Other guests had them and we had just asked whether we could have one as well e) there was construction work going on in some of the rooms beside ours We really could go on and on about all the problems we experienced. All we can say is that we wouldn't stay there again.

Room was good, cleaned daily and a good price. Pool was good although extremely dirty for the first two days of our stay. Hotel has so much potential that isn't used and is seriously blighted by the surliness of the staff Reception staff were abysmal - surly and not particularly helpful, certainly, the younger girl needs a little training in the art of 'customer service' or maybe a smile every so often would help. Location is just short of 3 miles from Punta del Este bus terminal but don't expect any advice from reception on bus times or maps - it won't happen!

I liked the location of the hotel, and the price. The room was clean, with a big plasma tv, and a good service of cable. The bed was very comfortable, and the ac was strong enough to cool down the room, and the bathroom was ok. The room was extremely small, and it had only one bed, even though we reserved a "double" one. The man in the front desk ( who was in his thirties and wears glasses) was really rude, and completely unhelpful. The gym wasn't available, and the restaurant was closed most of the day. No internet service in the room.

Nice renovated rooms with a nice pool very well located. It's still a three star hotel but a very good one. Understand you pay for a nice room and don't expect much more services. It's being renovated but somethings looked like they haven't actually finished them but moved on to the next. The out side windows for example had poor finishing and had the factory plastic still on. Could have a better lobby, feels empty and abandoned, just the basics.

Good value for money as we got a special deal. I don't think the standard is good enough to justify the regular price. Also it is very easy to hear people in other rooms.

It's also really close to one of the trendiest night clubs in Punta del Este. Refurbished rooms with a/c and LCD tv. There's no parking lot. Breakfast should have a variety of fruits and cereals rather than just bread and croissant. Shower was a bit tricky at first and just ok.

Large room, nice view, lovely pool They took full prepayment from my credit card when I made the booking, the $10 extra for breakfast is not worth it because the breakfast was poor quality. On top of it they were the only hotel during our stay in Uruguay that charged the 22% tax, we thought everything had been paid and then when we handed back the key they told us we had to pay this tax.

Superou minhas expectativas. Fomos bem atendidos.

- Equipe enxuta e mal treinada. - Desorganização no atendimento do balcão. - Café da manhã caro para o padrão (pouca variedade). - Referem que têm estacionamento, o que é uma inverdade: o carro fica na rua, em frente ao hotel.
