Our room looked very quirky, which added to the charm of our stay in Samarkand. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When my friend became ill, they were very supportive and even helped to translate what the doctor told us in Uzbek.

The location is a bit removed from the main sites, but the walk to the center took us through a nice and leafy avenue populated by students of the local university. The only improvement I would suggest is the breakfast buffet, which tends to empty out quite quickly.

Property was great! The staff could not do enough, and were very quick to respond to any requests. I felt very welcome at this hotel, and would definitely return, if I am fortunate enough to revisit Samarkand. Thank you, Shahboz, Timur and Amir!!! You're the best!!!!!

Good location, a shop nearby, easy to get to all main sightseeing places (though a bit diffcult for taxi drivers to find the location of the hotel). Very clean and good-looking room, helpful personnel. Almost everything we needed, was solved, including post services :) We liked the breakfast very much, the food and the style it is served.

We have booked duplex triple room, but when we arrived we were informed that this room is under reconstruction, and is not available. To tell the truth, this duplex room was the main factor, why I have chosen this hotel, so I was very disappointed. Instead, we were offered 2 double rooms. Given the fact we are travelling with 2 kids, this was not the best option. I would also mention a housekeeping lady, who started to use vacuum cleaner in the corridor at 6 am :( International credit card is not accepted.

Great quiet location about 15 minute walk to the Registan. Excellent restaurant serving plov and samsa a 5 minute walk away. Very close to Samarkand Restaurant. Attentive service by family members and staff.

Staffs were very kind. When my daughter was sick due to diarrhea, staff kindly explained the symptoms to pharmacist nearby hotel in local language.

I expected good weather, but the period I stayed was rainy. Next time, I hope to borrow bicycle from the hotel. It looks very good to ride bicycle when weather is sunny.

This is a nice family-owned hotel. The family spoke good English and was VERY helpful. The room I stayed was very cute and clean. The restaurant across the street serves delicious food.

Breakfast was kind of shabby... I got only one sausage, one egg sunny-side up, bread and coffee. They expained because it was off-season and not many guests were staying at the hotel, they didn't serve buffet... Maybe they serve better breakfast during on season.

Wonderful staff members. Very friendly and attentive. Excellent English. A little bit far from the old city but I had a nice walk from the hotel. I would stay there again!

Only thing I would mention is shower was not hot enough for such a cold day out in town.

Great hotel, very nice staff, wonderfully decorated rooms (albeit a bit small), nice side street very close to the main avenue; great value for money

Hot water was a bit cold in the morning

Excellent location in a residential area of the city. There are several small shops and restaurants around (most of restaurants are open to 5:00 pm). Very helpful and friendly staff, clean room.

Good location. Welcome drink/snack on arrival and free water.

There was no hot water on Saturday night, and it took quite a lot of communication with the staff to get this solved.

The staff was very professional. They charged us the correct amount, which seems to be rare in Uzbekistan. In addition they offered beer as free welcome drink.

The walk to Registan was somewhat long.

Very friendly, efficient staff. Free wifi. Most taxi drivers seemed to know it by name - it was about 3-4k som for a taxi to the Registan. Street is quiet away from major traffic. 30 mins walk to centre, but it's a nice walk along tree-lined university boulevard. Taxi to train station was 6k som.

Location could be seen as a bit of a hassle if you want to be right in the centre of town

Staff is extermely helpful (the kid of thé owner went out at night to buy us some snacks!!). Thé hôtel has a nice garden with sofas to relax and have drinks/breakfast. Rooms are clean and nice, of course different from thé european expectations.

Nice accommodation, helpfull staff, location not far from centre

Hotel could offer us a "guided trip (English guide + / and driver) to Shasrisabz. Driver/guide turned out to speak no English, he dropped us off at one of the sightseeing sights for 40 minutes whereafter he said that there is nothing more to see in Shashrisabz, so we could return to Samarkand. Once arrived in the hotel, apparently the price was 4 times more than what we agreed..... This was a total rip- off, I refused to pay and cleary adressed my frustration. The hotel should really check with whom they arrange 'guided trips', and should not engage in 'misunderstandings' about price of that trip later on....

This was the best hotel I had on my two weeks holiday. It easily can compete with so called 4-Star hotels in Uzbekistan. As welcome drink they offered a huge bottle of cold beer and after check out I got a little farewell present.

The distance to the main square Registon was longer than 10 minutes according to the hotel description
