Great stay, warm welcome by friendly owners, located right at the beach, 15 min walk to Clifton, spacious & clean room with comfortable chairs and nice balcony, hotel can arrange boat trips to nearby islands (Tobago Cays).

Location out of town but with easy access. Good beach on the door step. Helpful and welcoming staff if overbearing on ocassions.

The owner's desire to ensure that all was well, we were happy and had everything he thought we wanted (rather than we needed) became a slight trial.

Food (we had breakfast and dinner once) was very good and included fresh vegetables and salad. Very friendly owners Sandra and Clyde. Location is right at a beach, however about 15-20minutes walk to Clifton and 10-15minutes walk to the beautiful Richmond beach, which might not be for everyone. Very large rooms with balcony overlooking the sea.

We had trouble with the wifi reception in our room (we were told new equipemt was already ordered to fix the problem). We did not have coffee/tea making facilities, had only one water glass (in a double room) and didn't have a fridge in our room. Generally a great place, however a bit overpriced for a layed-back beach hotel regarding value for money.

Islanders Inn was the cleanest hotel I have seen in the Caribbean or the eastern USA (and I.m doing my holidays in the area for the past 4 years). People there (owners) were very friendy and helpful. They have arrangend the best tour of Tobago Cays for us - full day tour on a private boat, with the same market price. Food was excellent - we had breakfast. Location - 30seconds from the beach, 15 minutes walk to town (Anchorage). Great view from the room.

Could have enjoyed a TV in the room..., but we had good wireless internet instead, so we watched something online.

Amazing staff/owner. Good food in restaurant. Clean and fresh room.

Location could be better, at the beach but nothing around.

    It was clean

Terrible, terrible place. The owners' only interest was to gouge as much money from you as possible, and if you are not spending then they get angry. Why take a ec$35 ferry when they can find you a ec$400 private boat. Don't worry about the ec$2 minivan when they can "help" you with a ec$50 taxi. Horrible place

The hospitality was very welcoming and friendly. At the end of the day the environment made it easy to relax and strike up conversation with fellow guests or staff members. The food was exceptiona, cooked with care and presented with pride. All meals, breakfast and dinner tasted superb and I loved the Caribbean twists to give it a great tropical taste. Situated on the shores of a very tranquil and peaceful bay, made it easy for me to enjoy my stay, unfortunately 4 days was to short.

Clyde & Sandra, the owners, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They provided us with snorkelling gear for the beach, which was right in front of the hotel & we had mostly to ourselves. The food that Clyde cooked was first class & the tastiest we have tasted in the Caribbean. The room was spacious, clean & had a wonderful sea view & of Mayreau in the distance. If you are looking for a quiet location with good food this is ideal.

Could have done with some desserts on the menu.

We were duly catered to with kind and friendly Caribbean service at all times of the day. The food was beautiful, close to perfection in fact. New dimensions was added to every meal even breakfast. Our cook was full of ideas this combined with fresh vegetable and fish the meals were really a delight & the best I've tasted in SVG as a whole. The islanders Inn is located within minutes from the airport & dock yet it's quite secluded away from the busy dock. Our room was spotless with simplistic yet beautiful furniture + a balcony view over looking the beach (pictures).

Nice room and furnishings. Organised a great day trip to Tobago Cays. Good location, about 10 mins walk to Clifton. Friendly owners.

    Somewhat overpriced. Expensive breakfast.

My time at the hotel was very relaxing. Clydie and Sandra who own and run the Inn are a very lovely couple who will make you feel welcome. The hotel has a unique location and in a natural location...the beach is at your front door and it is all yours to enjoy. This is perfect if you want peace and quiet. To enjoy the Inn to its best potential you must flick off your shoes, sit back and forget the rest of the world exists... The food is superb and all you can ask for. The bar prices are very reasonable and the small restaurant nicely set out. Do not expect 5star luxury as this is not what this hotel is about. It is about nice clean rooms and a chill out atmosphere.

The only bad points I can say about this hotel is the road leading to and from it. But this is no fault on the owners as this is the carribean in general. The hill road over to clifton maybe a little challenge to some. But there is another road on the flat but it is a little bumpy dirt track, making the walk into town slightly longer. But as I say when you are there whats the hurry.
