Location was perfect, with our own little beach on the doorstep. Sandra and Clyde were beyond lovely - the perfect hosts. We had a wonderful stay!

- We had a 80 US$ room, and this is a very basic room for this money. - Staff welcomed us unfriendly. This had to do with the fact that we phoned them a week earlier to ask for some information about the public boat from Union Island to Carriacou (Grenada). They did not want to answer the question, probably because they try to get you on a private water taxi which costs 130 US$ per person (!) for only 7 km. However, there is a public boat at 7am every Monday and Thursday from the small jetty in Ashton. Everybody on the Island seems to know about the boat, but as mentioned before, hotels are probably not keen to share this information because the like you to pay the US$ 130 pp. Fare for public boat is only 40 EC$ p.p (approx 15 US$). - Owner of hotel tried to convince us that the walk from Clifton to the hotel is not safe at night and adviced us to take a taxi. However, we walked all the time, and the 10 minute walk seems safe to us.
Good location on 10 minute walking distance from Clifton. Nice views en beach in front of hotel.

The location is good, but take a taxi - the road is very narrow!
Loved the atmosphere, it's much more "island" than the places by the marina.

food and beverage prices were quite expensive however it is easy to walk into town where there are many options available.
facilities were very clean and well maintained. They have completed the road that leads onto a back way into Clifton - no more great hill hikes. Clyde makes great effort to be accommodating

The view was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious

Very nice room, and the staff are very eager to please. The highlight are the owners Sandra and Clyde, who are extremely friendly and entertaining. The beach is right opposite, making a nice pleasant breeze. Wi-fi worked perfectly in my room.

The beach near the hotel is nothing special and even a near one is not worth it.
Very cheap, nice staff, clean

Great stay, warm welcome by friendly owners, located right at the beach, 15 min walk to Clifton, spacious & clean room with comfortable chairs and nice balcony, hotel can arrange boat trips to nearby islands (Tobago Cays).

The owner's desire to ensure that all was well, we were happy and had everything he thought we wanted (rather than we needed) became a slight trial.
Location out of town but with easy access. Good beach on the door step. Helpful and welcoming staff if overbearing on ocassions.

We had trouble with the wifi reception in our room (we were told new equipemt was already ordered to fix the problem). We did not have coffee/tea making facilities, had only one water glass (in a double room) and didn't have a fridge in our room. Generally a great place, however a bit overpriced for a layed-back beach hotel regarding value for money.
Food (we had breakfast and dinner once) was very good and included fresh vegetables and salad. Very friendly owners Sandra and Clyde. Location is right at a beach, however about 15-20minutes walk to Clifton and 10-15minutes walk to the beautiful Richmond beach, which might not be for everyone. Very large rooms with balcony overlooking the sea.

Could have enjoyed a TV in the room..., but we had good wireless internet instead, so we watched something online.
Islanders Inn was the cleanest hotel I have seen in the Caribbean or the eastern USA (and I.m doing my holidays in the area for the past 4 years). People there (owners) were very friendy and helpful. They have arrangend the best tour of Tobago Cays for us - full day tour on a private boat, with the same market price. Food was excellent - we had breakfast. Location - 30seconds from the beach, 15 minutes walk to town (Anchorage). Great view from the room.

Location could be better, at the beach but nothing around.
Amazing staff/owner. Good food in restaurant. Clean and fresh room.

Fantastic location - Clyde and Sandra are wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them Our room with large balcony overlooked the sea and it was just perfect

Terrible, terrible place. The owners' only interest was to gouge as much money from you as possible, and if you are not spending then they get angry. Why take a ec$35 ferry when they can find you a ec$400 private boat. Don't worry about the ec$2 minivan when they can "help" you with a ec$50 taxi. Horrible place
It was clean

The hospitality was very welcoming and friendly. At the end of the day the environment made it easy to relax and strike up conversation with fellow guests or staff members. The food was exceptiona, cooked with care and presented with pride. All meals, breakfast and dinner tasted superb and I loved the Caribbean twists to give it a great tropical taste. Situated on the shores of a very tranquil and peaceful bay, made it easy for me to enjoy my stay, unfortunately 4 days was to short.
