The service and restaurant were wonderful! The view was beautiful.

The AC was super loud and the wi-fi did not reach to the room.

Staff attention & welcome. Ambience. Tranquil. BBQ night & music on Wednesday evening, meeting staff at drinks reception. Breakfast fruit.

Wi-fi patchy. Slightly limited menu choices.

The handling of my booking at the reception was great. The food that was prepared tasted great. The staff at the hotel was courteous and helpful. The view of the sea and the surrounding areas was breath taking from the hotel.

I did not know what time I would have been able to reach back to the hotel after I finished my examination. The examination was supposed to take about three hours and check out time for the hotel was 12:00 noon so I decided to check out at 7:15 a.m. when I was leaving to go to Kingstown to write my examination. However, on return to the hotel at around 11:15 a.m. I asked how much it would cost to get to get back the room for a few hours, that is, until 4:00 p.m. but to my astonishment I was told it would be same cost for a night. A 20% reduction was offered afterward but that was just not worth it. I would have been willing to pay half price but definitely not the full price. As such, I remained in the lobby for the rest of the day until I left the hotel to go to the airport. When I stayed at Hilton, Fort Collins, USA I was given a much better rate for the extra time that I wanted after checkout and this was actually for a much longer time.

The view is really great. The staff is super gentle and very helpfull. Can't get bored if you like and you can rest as much as you want as it is very quiet and silent.

Windows on the first floor can't be open. If it is for mosquitoes, then nets should be installed. Called my attention no fridge in the rooms.

Quiet with beautiful views and a strong sea breeze to cool the property

A bit far from businesses and places to experience Caribbean lifestyle

lovely, spacious hotel design; quiet room with wonderful views, large comfortable bed, hot water, clean; close to airport; on the bus route for Kingstown and windward coast; friendly, helpful staff.

meals a bit pricey. The bill calculation by converting to EC$ at a low exchange rate at the top and converting back to USD at a high rate at the bottom.

The local staff We asked for a fridge and we have had the fridge.

-No coffee/tea facilities in the room. -No minibar/fridge in the room. -Very bad, noisy and old a/C. It takes hours to make your room a little bit more colder. -You need muscles to open the cold water faucet by the washstand. -No wifi in the room, only adsl cable for 1 laptop! Very weird and enoying in this time we live in now!! -In the pool float millions of white particles. This shows up when you swim in the water. -Breakfast, lunch, diner and drinks are overpriced!! -We wanted to rent a car. The owner advised us to walk to Bens Car Rental for the best prices. She told us that it would cost 125 ec per day excl. We were back quickly because the prices there were 180 ec per day! Poor information of the owner. We called ourselves another car rental and there it was ec 125 per day including insurance! Zen Rental is the name. They delivered the car by the hotel. -We believe that there is a bad vibe, because of the owners. The local staff is good. If we could, we had already left after the 1st night, but that would cost us too much money, because we already booked. The two English owners are every evening served by their own staff for diner. We felt really really sad for the local staff. We were glad we went for 1 night to Bequia. Unfortunately we had to pay also the night when we did not stay in the Grand View. -If you want to have a nice and good priced dinner or lunch go to: Paradise Hotel, Mariners Hotel, Beachcombers, Sunset shores. It is a 3 minute drive from the Grand View. And even better choose one of these as your accommodation on St. Vincent. One night costs half of what it costs in Grandview and you have much better facilities en and also the view is amazing! And even better the vibe!! Grand View is not worth the money for what you get. Grand view is soooo overpriced!!!!
