We had double room and size was bigger than we expected. The view from the balcony is on the pool and sea. Location 2 min from the beach and all restaurants. However, the hotel restaurant is nice with amazing food selections. The pool was cleaned every day! Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Hotel California Playa! Good breakfast, specially prepared for me as a single customer (there is just one apartment in the house that is rented, and the rest of the house is used directly by the owner). Very close to a bus station that goes (about every hour) to the big city of the island, Porlamar. An attentive owner. She bought me a cream against an excessive (unfortunately) sunburn.

The owners are so nice and made sure we were very comfortable. They gave us recommendations on what to do and where to go nearby and in the city. Very much recommended.
