Bluebeards Castle  

I liked the atmosphere, view and the location. The residents staying in Blue Beard's that I met were very friendly and kind. I am originally from the Islands,but live in the states and always find enjoyment in my trip with friends and carnival.

I stayed for 7-8 days and asked hotel staff for an extra role of paper towel since we only had a 1/2 roll in the kitchen area, but they stated that it was already an extra one under the cabinet, when it was not!! I feel like there need to be more checks and balances with inspecting the rooms. I can't believe hotel staff was ready to charge me for an extra roll of papertowel instead of rectifying the problem and making a customer satisfied. I paid quite a bit of money to stay with you all, so what's a $1.50 roll of papertowel?? Because of this problem, I will never stay here again. I didn't know there were guidelines to how much paper towel a family can use. What's next, the toilet paper??? This is beyond real! Especially when someone is paying for multiple nights and have the room service charge being charged daily. Also, the bed linen was filthy and could use clorox to brighten up the white sheets and kill germs. Overall, I felt the service was horrible and would consider staying somewhere else when I return in September.

The employees was well manners...the location the environment was lovely. The rooms was clean and the view was awesome.

Elevated beautiful location. Lovely gardens and outside space. Room With A View restaurant has an excellent menu choice, great food and friendly staff.

Beautifly pool to look at! Very deep swimming pool,10 feet next to walk way and childrens pool, no grab rails. 4 feet by waterfall steps, but drops instantly to close to 5 feet. Need removable shade parasols for sunloungers as the 8 sunbeds under the shade awning were reserved by time share residents.

My reservation with booking.com couldn't be found. It took the night attendant an extraordinarily long time to figure out what to do with us.

The View was spectacular and the unit was very spacious.

Location is just perfect, the staff was attentive, especially Claudette who was at the front desk. The restaurant was very good. Despite a long delay for our entree, the waiter offered to comp us with desert. When we declined, he took it upon himself to credit us for several drinks we had ordered which was very professional and service oriented. The rooms were large, bed was very comfortable. I had the chance to book at Marriott Frenchmans reef and use points but chose to pay to stay at this hotel because of a previous poor experience at the Marriott and because of the value I felt I would get based at this hotel on the TripAdvisor ratings.I Am glad I did!

The only place to get breakfast was at the pool/bar. There were limited tables to sit and eat there. The service was slow- not through the fault of the person who was working there as he alone was working the bar and acting as waiter and busboy and payment person. He was excellent but the hotel should put more people on the only location they offer breakfast and brunch.

On my step in to the one bedroom villa, my first word was wow, the value for the money great, the room was very nice, bigger than a normal hotel rooom and a second room with family, full kitchen, table another Flat tv, was amazing for the money. My villa was on the back, hoewver it does have a ocen view. The morning was spectacular and the balcony is like 25-30ft long by 7ft wide. In other words, I will not stay in any other hotel in St. Thomas besides Bluebeards Castle by now.

At the beginning of my conversation with check-in personnel, they were a little unfriendly, then I explained that my questions are to know more about the hotel and to return with my wife and kids and they change the attitute and did cooperate more. I beleive is a cultural behaviour.

Wow! I can"t describe how much we enjoyed our stay! We only wish it was longer. I can't think of anything that I would change. The room was amazing, we keep wandering why we got so lucky to get such a nice room. We ate at the Banana Leaf restaurant for dinner and had a fabulous meal! All was perfect, thank you for having this property. We will be using you again soon! All the best, Denise Weeks-Anglin

Nice pool, but a bit chilly. Wonderful rooms and fantastic views!

Parking is inconvenient.

The facility was a welcome resting place along the way on our trip from Tortola to Orlando via the airport at Charlotte Amalie. Clean, quiet rooms with an excellent view of the harbour. a nice pool and a really enjoyable restaurant with well prepared and served food. We spoiled ourselves and Bluebeard's staff helped us to do it.

Der Ausblick vom Hotel war schön!!!

Das Personal war super unfreundlich eher unverschämt schon!! Das Zimmer wurde in den ganzen 4 Tagen die wir da waren nicht einmal gesäubert!! Und für Alles wird zusätzlich Geld verlangt!!! Kein Shuttletransfer in die Stadt und ein ewig steiler Weg zu lauffen, in der Hitze unmöglich!!

The room was very nice and spacious. It also had a great view of the harbor with a huge balcony with table, chairs and lounge chairs, I liked how there was a full kitchen and separate dining room, living room with sofa and coffee table, and bedroom. All the rooms were good sizes. It was also quiet and private, especially when going out on the balcony.

I didn't care for Bluebeards Castle's lackadaisical approach to customer service. Although I liked the room, the poor service ruined the stay for me. When I told the front desk about problems, they had a bad attitude about them and didn't even do anything about them although they acted as if they were going to take care of it. For that reason, this affected my stay since these things, such as the electricity, which went out, and phone, which never worked, were not fixed. This unacceptable at any hotel.
