|Jasmine Manor is located in Frederiksted. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a terrace and a seating area. There is a full kitchen with a refrigerator and kitchenware....|
The ferry service was great and always timely and accomodating. Not an inconvenience at all.
WiFi was at times faulty; however, never a great inconvenience. Besides, we are not here to work or be plugged in!
The new beds were great! and as always staff is wonderful!
We come each year to HOC for New Years to get away from the madness that is F'sted and Parades..this year I had chickingunya and the lack of ramps or alternatives to stairs made our trip difficult...will be looking elsewhere next time...unless you put some ramps in...we are all going to get old and will need access...
The hotel is located on an island in Christiansted offering great views.
The room with two double beds was simple with a clean bathroom and kitchenette. One bed was completely dirty. The sheets had sand in them along with someone else's hair and clearly had been made up but not changed. Disgusting.
The hotel is located on the only clean (without see-grass) beach in Christiansted.
There was no ramps for the luggage, and a lot of stairs to climb...
The beach is at the front door of the hotel. It has a bar and restaurant that are run by very friendly people. Very quick trip into the town.
This is not about the hotel but some general information. It is not easy to get groceries in town. A small 7 11 type shop was 15-20mis walk. A car or taxi ride is needed to get to a larger grocery store.
hidden 18% "energy surcharge"
Location excellent,I loved the patio--sitting out looking at the beautiful moon , sunrise, and the blue-blue sea.I will definitely recommend your Hotel, cause the price is right.
There was a water leak in our room(109),we did tell Staff.
We loved having a semi-private island. Nice beach and sea turtles to swim with right there.
The place has seen better days. Not in a bad way, just - very 70's
Not crowded Excellent ferry service
View, location, not too touristy
Good at restaurant not so good. Take ferry to mainland for breakfast at Avocado Pit
Water taxi always quickly available. Best beach near C-sted. Plenty of breeze and 360• views. Has our Xmas dinner at waterside bar/restaurant and were envied by everyone we know!
The location, beach,price
The doors need to be replaced. The bathroom is a bit tight No Parkin for the hotel guest. Not enough island food on the menu.
I liked the setting....on a Small Island in Christiansted Harbor....only a short Ferry ride to town....situated between the Harbor and the Channel....with a variety of Boats, Ships, Ferries, Seaplanes and Egrets passing by. It has a very Lovely setting that added to a feeling of Pure Relaxation. All the Staff members were Very Kind, Helpful and Fun, at all times of the day and night. The Restaurant served good Breakfast and Lunches that were quite Tasty. If I was not planning to go out to dinner in the evenings....I would order a meal to take back to my room to save for later. There is an efficiency kitchen in the room so storage was easy. The Showers were great. Nice Powerful water of lukewarm temperatures. Perfect for the Tropics!!! It is a Wonderful Old Hotel with an Enchantment all it's own!!!!
I really Liked Everything and Everyone!!!
Location. Beautiful beach
No Beach towels raggy bath towels used for the beach. Energy charges differ depending where you book your stay from $5 pp/per day to $10 pp/per day.was adjusted told rate was from your site.
Location was stellar staff was wonderful . Had a blast can't wait to come back.
WiFi was not the greatest
The stay was excellent my kids really enjoy it also
No kitchen open at nite and food was to expensive
The only thing that was to like was the bed.
I had no television for my whole vacation at Hotel on The Cay, I would like to get at least 50% of what I spent back in my account please.
The view was beautiful and being able to rent jet skis and snorkeling equipment was great.
The beds need to be of better quality. There were no shams and could see how nasty the box springs were. Also, need to be able to eat breakfast at a decent time. 8:30 am is way too late.
Safety, private beach, location, tranquility, view from rooms
The Beach! It was terrific! Right out side the door, with a bar/restaurant to get drinks from. The kitchen facilities in the room were fantastic, as was the view. The beds were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was good and reliable. The access by ferry was fast and reliable.
The hot water pressure was low, so it was difficult taking a shower.
Very nice, clean room. fantastic view, awesome friendly and supportive staff.
The WiFi was somewhat inconsistent, but still usable. Parking is something that the Hotel just can't address, being on a Cay in the bay. Recommend using taxis instead of renting a car.
Hotel location could not be beat. Beach, bar/food, water sports on island and easy access to town. Front office people very helpful and freindly. Very relaxing stay.
Hotel starting to get run down, they are starting to repair.
I really enjoyed the quiet area. The sound of the ocean at my balcony was an added bonus
We went to St. Croix in the off-season (last week of August), but even with that the price we paid for our stay at Hotel on the Cay was more than reasonable. The little island the hotel is on (the "Cay") is very nice, with a pretty beach where one can rent snorkeling equipment among other such things. There's a restaurant and bar, and while the food is nothing special, it's totally fine. The ferry boat takes just a few minutes to get to the mainland, and it runs very frequently--hardly any waiting time at all. There's a little store on the dock where one can buy coffee, milk, cereal, etc. As many have said, the accommodations are nothing luxurious, but we weren't looking for that. Most of our time is spent outside the hotel room. The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
While we don't need luxury, a few things could be easily improved. The kitchen could be a bit better equipped. There were little things: no sponge in the kitchen, very few utensils; we had to keep begging for more shampoo in the bathroom. But these were small complaints.
Love my room, the view was wonderful, clean and the TV was big size and on the wall.
